Used film cameras in this era frequently benefit from cleaning, lubrication and adjustment (CLA). Locating a technician who can do that is getting more difficult but they are out there. In any event, if you are thinking about getting a film camera, you might want to factor that into the budget.
Viva la film, is a young lady in Sydney Australia who was mentored by an older retired technician, she acquired a lot of his tools and meticulous notes on repair of different cameras. With the revival hopefully this will continue and a new generation of technicians will emerge. ua-cam.com/video/5hCQPou3kwk/v-deo.html
I have loved the 50mm 1.8. I do think the 35mm options are probably a bit sharper. If you want maximum sharpness, any of the sigma art lenses are going to be your top options for sharpness and will autofocus fine with the Nikon. Hope this helps!
had I never used film before I think my head would be spinning. I can see how a newbie could get confused. Lots to figure out. You made some great points.

Hi, I have a question; what 50mm lens would you recommend for Nikon F6 (50mm 1.8G?)?I prefer sharpness rather then speed. Thanks

@@Overexposed1 thank you
Where did you get that Tyler Childers shirt? I need one!
Bought it at a concert a few years ago! I don’t know if he still sells it.
@@Overexposed1 dang. Just saw him a few weeks back and they didn’t have it. Not on his site either. Guess I missed it. Cool anyway. Cheers my friend!
@@WyattLCombs Tyler grew up about 45 minutes from me. Ha. Of course, we love him here. Cheers!
Only film regret was not getting in earlier 😂 started in the digital age however all my favorite photos I have taken have been on film.
I want a Nikon F100 again I had four of them at one time and sold them, my bad.
Have you tested Kodak Vision3 250d? maybe you could do a review?

I know a UA-camr who developed her own film and it’s such a fun process although it is a whole other domain to master.
