I am so inspired now, making this mug next with a heart texture print.👏 My daughter has started throwing on a homemade wheel. My husband blessed us and made one. It causes a bit off warping, but she enjoys it so much. New ones are so expensive here by us. I am still a "baby potter" and appreciate all the tips from all the experienced potters.

I love these mugs and can’t believe they’re hand built. Re: your handles…do you ever pull the handle off the side of the mug (attaching a blank and pulling while it’s attached)? If so, do you find it holds better and cracks less?

I like using red clay with texture. Can you recommend a glaze for red clay that doesn’t hide the texture. I’m from Canada and use Spectrum and Potters Choice glazes mostly.
