@@zachmtb8432 Richard burns rally is boats floating at middle of nowhere. It was realistic 20 years ago, escpecially if you have driven boats at roads.
They would have to make a new engine finally. Their engine cant do longer stages :( But at least it wouldve been better if it wouldve been all unique stages instead of just a 16km one splitted into even shorter ones from the 16km ones. Why not all different stages at least?? meh. But yes, these super short stages are not cool. It has many disadvantages. One is already that the people memorize the tracks. I dont like that. I dont want a racing game, I want it to stay a rally game. Try to remember several 20km+ stages. That would be a bit harder ;) Longer stages also have other advantages - like more variation in road surface types, also more room for a mistake (even against AI) if you did a mistake you have on a longer stage the chance to make the rest of it exceptionally good and make up some places again. But even with this rather short stages - I think they also worry about filesizes. I mean already with the short stages, DR 2.0 is already 110 GB with the DLCs..
It’s just like the story from the Gran Turismo movie, but on Dirt. Wish Jon all the luck, he definitely deserves it. Looking forward to following his career and also the new WRC 23 game/sim.
If EA SPORTS Rally has the WRC license that could be awesome to try and tackle the yearly WRC franchise. Those games have been pretty solid, especially the co-driver mode, that's really fun. I hope you put all your heart and soul into the next game, because there's a lot of ground to make up, and I'll call it now - it's do or die for Codemasters rally games at this point.
codemasters got the wrc license, and there's reports they've "abandoned" dirt. considering that dirt rally 3.0 got canned, codemasters got the license and kylotonn is leaving the wrc franchise, dirt rally 3.0 is probably gonna get the wrc name instead, it'd be kinda dumb to start developing dirt rally 3.0 and just abandon it in favour of a game that's pretty much the same thing. in a nutshell, wrc 12-17 are probably just gonna be dirt rally 3.0 - 8.0, unless they rename it "ea sports rally", either way, it's gonna be dirt rally. not sure about the main dirt series, though, don't think many people would mind that one being abandoned since they were generally less well received than the rally games were.
Please codemasters, give us realistic stages. Tight, long & challenging.
That's what Richard burns rally is for

@@jjeeqq which version have you tried? The newest version has tons of mods for everything and lots and lots of stages.
YES PLEASE. We need the real El Chocolate, La Puma, Ouninpohja, et al :D Especially that one 80km~ stage from Mexico

I like to think that Jon is representing us sim drivers in the real world!
He's had enough DiRT practice at least 😅
@@EASPORTSWRC Im so glad that sim racing can help with real racing, that means I haven't been just playing a "game" 😏
Hear this guy codemaster, the more realistic the better . Keep that in mind for WRC and F1 🙏🙏🙏
And World RX Championship too.

Any news on the new wrc game?
Show us WRC 2023 The Game on Madness Engine.
Madness Engine equals a racing simulation technology by Slightly Mad Studios, whilst Ego Engine equals a racing simulation technology by Codemasters.
Jon Armstrong is the best, great driver
Simracing with EA ?! EA is about to destroy our hole career. Broadcast mode , wrc life , no simulation , Bitcoin, more and more. I don't trust EA.
Give us back the F1 2010~2019 games, for GOD's sake, EA!!!!!!
Ths is the Rally channel.
@@EASPORTSWRC I know and just want to make sure this won't happen again in the future WRC titles.
