Good start and a strong group! Going to follow and hope to see you on twitch live sometime. Notes in case its useful: - really like tight story telling eg when ST made the time jump to advance the story. Group got a bit lost around 41:48 - too much dog chat. - great when players lean into their stories and characters emotions - Sarah was really great at staying in character and giving the mythic europe vibe. - great description of the fae and i liked that people didnt revert to fighting as the main route to solving the conflict. - group quickly built a dynamic with each other including dialogue among each other which is super important.
The chemistry is really good because Sarah, Neassa, Improv, and I have been playing together almost weekly for 3 years and we've been gaming with Ibe for about a year now. I think we all mesh really well. I hope you enjoyed the episode and check out the other three!
1:49:10 Interesting! I had thought that in a lot of places people would've had their birth names by local tradition, but also be given a baptismal name after a saint or some such, so I'd figure that while the kid might not understand it, the faerie might actually want the kid's birthname, though the baptismal name would hold no significant power for them.
Great to see another Ars Magica actual play! I hope we see more of these as the Definitive kickstarter proceeds!
Ars Magica! Awesome!
Oooo, Ars Magica Campaign🎉🎉
Just starting out watching this, I've been running a game since December. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes!
