- In this video I'll show you how to repurpose the barrel & sack textures from the previous episode.

Note that all of the textures that I've created so far can be found here:

I figured out your playlist. Well...time to sit back, relax and enjoy!
Glue a a similar top and bottom to the shelves, add a wood texture wrapped piece of thin cardboard or piece of chipboard to the back of it in the appropriate size and bam, you've got yourself a finished bookshelf. Love these videos! Really great textures!
Really like this series. I’m making a bunch of the beds for the Cragmore Castle in Lost Mine of Phandelver. I just had the slats flat on the floor with the blanket over it as it’s just goblins and I wanted to make several quickly
Nice!
(note that if you ever want some different coloured bedding, I have a dedicated beds episode later on in the series)
Thanks to you I’ve started my own dnd campaign with family and friends, love your work
Glad to hear it :) ...and good luck with the campaign!
I love your work. You make terrain look really easy.
Thanks, and yeah ...the aim is for quick, cheap, and easy terrain (for those like myself who are on a tight budget, or for folks who have limited time etc.). Plus we can then spend more money on mini's and books and stuff :) :) :)
It's great seeing such an easy method to create a wide variety of wood-textured objects (popsicle sticks are so tedious to cut and prepare). Lovely work, as always.
Once again very cool. Couple of potion bottles and an old skull and looking forward to having a go at building this up.
Cheers!
For the beds, take a bit of card stock/thin cardboard and wrap and glue a paper towel to it, doubling over in one side to give a “blanket” look. That gives you a cheap easy mattress to put in the bed you just made. You can also just let the sides of the paper towel hang over the sides to better simulate a mattress:
I do have plans to make a nicer bed texture in the future (the one in this video is just a crude cot you might find orcs or peasants using) ...though, as usual, it's finding the time to put all of these ideas into action :) (though I'm sure I'll get there eventually).
So simple and so cool, I am very happy to have found your awesome channel. Thank you for these great tips :) Cheers, Del
Loving the look of these. And dead easy to make too. Possibly my favourite takes on the 2.5D system. Please keep posting! :-)
I've got a lot more ideas ...so I definitely plan on posting more :) (it's just finding the time to do them).
Really enjoying this series thanks for sharing
No probs. Glad you're enjoying them!
Hay this is nifty. You might want to do this for full tiles next just drop on tiles
