For those who can't use Parallel emulator or console,You can still play this,but you can't download levels or save your created levels,But using save states you can at least save levels you've created,still can't play other levels made by other people,but I believe rovertronic is working on making other emulators have those features

This is a great concept but I would probably hate if this ever actually happened, as a member of Team 0% (SMM2 division), it’s my job to basically be the trash man of SMM2, playing the levels no one else wants to clear. I already deal with hot enough garbage as is, so imagine just how much worse levels could get in 3D. Imagine a giant empty void, with 1 platform to stand on, and a star high in the air. And to find it, you need to repeatedly do triple jumps in the space of 1 block to find invisible blocks, going up about 17 times in a row. You fall once, you either die or have to do it all over again. Or another example: giant rooms filled with Little Timmy’s enemy spam, and a hidden powerup that just lets you damage boost through everything. If you’ve played more than 1 hour of SMM2, you know these scenarios are not imaginary, they’re not speculation. It would just be worse in 3D. Yes, there’s a lot of great potential, but as we already know, 99% of it won’t be that. It’s definitely a bad idea, not because the game won’t work, but because of the community.

If your biggest reason to why a 3D mario maker shouldn't exist is an arbitrary rule self inflicted on oneself, then so many of the greatest games ever made wouldn't be as great as they are today. I just can't agree with just "There would be a lot of really mediocre levels that no-one wants to play" or with "It would be too hard for team 0%." because they are both arguments that go against the very nature of creation and creativity against all else that the mario maker series is all about.

I’m actually thinking now it would be better to make the 3D games have a 2D aspect in Mario Maker 3. As they did with Mario 3D world.

awesome stuff. the editor seems a lot like the banjo kazooie nuts & bolts editor, which was very intuitive and well made. this looks like a nearly ideal level editor, only thing I'd add is some more bells & whistles like painting blocks to use different textures on different platforms.

You could make a sort of sky level with a king bob-omb on a huge cloud or smth and its like an only up type level and when you get to the top you gotta slam king bob-omb or you get flung all the way to the bottom lol
I dreamed of wanting a 3d mario maker and this is exactly what I had in mind.
I think a Mario Maker 3d game is awesome. Been envisioning it for a while, hopefully Nintendo makes it happen.

There literally is mario odyssey edtior, that is a computer software that lets you edit super mario odyssey stages to make custom levels, custom moons etc. You have to put the files onto a modded switch or switch emulator, but nintendo hasn’t shut this down. Also, nintendo doesn’t care about older games that much.
@@Reaktron88 Well, they do care about older games, but in the wrong ways. They shut down emulators while keeping some of their games on old hardware.

Ok as an obsessed player of Maker 2, who’s still trying to kill courses and getting 1st clears daily to this moment. I wouldn’t mind them making Maker 3 all 3D. Leave my 2D “almost” masterpiece game alone but maybe add 1 last huge DLC to Maker 2 along with the Maker 3D release and let the fans compete in both styles with a fresh coat of paint;) oh and on line incentives jacked up is a must for both also…
We would love a huge, hard castle level that contains all the enemies and bosses (a boss rush).

3D try to recriate the odyssey levels
This is the game that's all the rage at the moment, everyone's talking about it. Even Andre from Gamexplain talked about it last night.
3D You can make a level where Bowser is at the start of the level, and you have to keep throwing him across many floating platforms
to get to the spiked bombs at the end so you can defeat him.

This is amazing, most of these Nintendo genius fans should be hired by Nintendo and Sega for their work. I can't even believe this was made by fans and not the professionals at Nintendo. This new phenomenon of fan made video games has risen now given the large phenomenon of Nintendo and Sega games among gaming fans in history. I thought this was impossible to happen given the amount of time and dedication, as well the cease and desist letters and copyright laws and the fact they don't make money out of this at all for doing that.
I want to see a koopa the quick level, & a level with a bunch of bowsers fighting you in an open area.

3D : my idea, which might have been said already is a boss rush if that's possible, with like first you get king bob-omb, whomp and then bowser, etc.
but it then starts ramping up in numbers and you win if you defeat the final one, which is 2 of every boss in the same room.

He re-wrote the Mario 64 code to make it run better, from 20 FPS til 60 FPS apparently.
This might just be the push Nintendo needs to actually do this themselves. There’s no way they won’t hear about this and they’re gonna get jealous 😂

I still want Zelda Maker. Could be so good. Players could craft dungeons and upload them. So you could place them in your World. The world itself would probably remain nintendos creation. Or they could go even further and have towns and "roads to dungeon" upload to online. so we could share. And pokemon maker. Just have fans craft routes, place wild pokemon place npcs write dialogue for them, craft gyms. A pokemaker would be so good. Zelda maker also. I think it will remain 2d. A 3d maker is probably not going to happen soon. On the other side why not. Fans make it alredy. So more oficial maker games would be nice.
Mark my words... Nintendo will take the fan project down and steal the idea!
