- SHIRLEY, NEW YORK - On Sunday, November 14th 2021, the Suffolk County Urban Search and Rescue Team conducted the second day of a two day mobex training at Smith Point County Park. Members from Suffolk County Fire Rescue, Suffolk County Police Department, Suffolk County EMS, New York State Emergency Management, Port Jefferson Ambulance Company were among the agencies participating in the training. Members trained on various scenarios water search & rescue operations, rope rescue operations, and confined space vehicle extrication.
