nice french fries cutter i have one it's TRASH this is like restaurant
Amy, this is SO COOL! I’ve been interested in this type of item for several years to use for prepping onions and other vegetables. I used a commercial kitchen device like this when I took a canning class at a local county extension center. I just didn’t know if it was useful since I have plastic choppers and the Breville food processor dicer kit, but it has so many parts to wash. Thanks for demonstrating this item! ❤️
This one has multiple blades. I think the one we used was a tad big for fries. Yummy, though. I think I might try the 3/8" for potatoes and onions/peppers. The 1/4" is small, but could be useful, for carrots? Thank you for watching. The plastic choppers are more convenient for smaller jobs.
WOW! That’s great! I never bought one because I couldn’t to the horizontal slicer. Each of my shoulders has a torn rotator cuff. This I can do. Yay Amy!
Looks like a whole lot of fun. Happy Independence Day, everyone!🎉
Happy 4th!
Vertical cutters seem more logical. That's a nice one!
Thank you Mark.
Thanks for showing this, been wanting something like this for years. I wonder how this would do with sweet potatoes? I love sweet potatoes fries. Have a nice Independence day holiday Amy & Eric!!
sweet potatoes are rock hard. They didn't do well in our Gander Mountain horizontal one. May need to try them out on this thing. Thanks for the idea. Happy 4th!!!
Hello Amy! I dislike frying stuff because I always burn myself. There’s a glove with a sleeve that Chinese cooks use to avoid burning yourself. The metal gloves are to prevent cuts from the potato cutters. I have a metal one and Oh boy it hurts for days when you get cut with metal.
the cutters are very sharp!
Wow, I didn't realize how much work goes into making fries at home. That looks like a restaurant-quality fry cutter - awesome if you need to make a big batch.
Happy 4th!!!...🎉🎉🎉🦋
Happy 4th!
Hi Amy & Eric!!! I do not like this machine. It looks like some kind of space monster. I wouldn't use this in my kitchen. Takes up too much room. Just looks bad to me.I guess you like it and that's fine with me...Everyone has their own opions!!! I just eat frozen fries anyways!!!...I enjoyed your video...The fries did look yummy...Nice Video!!!...🦋
I don’t care for it either
Fresh cut fries are a pain, unless you can use the old school Bed, Bath, and Beyond fries cutter that we had years ago. These bigger ones take more effort to put together and clean. This one is much easier than the Gander Mountain horizontal. Yes, takes up room. If you can stash it somewhere. I think I'd prefer the air fryer as I'm getting used to not deep frying as much. I'd think this is good if you want to cut a lot of fries at once and maybe freeze or something. But if you can buy frozen fries and put in the air fryer, then that is more convenient. But to go to some local burger places and buy fries is really crazy these days (and getting worse).
Thank you for watching DiDi as we certainly appreciate it. I hope you have a very fun 4th!!!!
