Such a pretty stitch. Initially I was doing it with an individual double crochet after each bubble and it looked really cool when I watched a video again I thought I was doing it right but I was adding an extra double crochet so I eliminated them and that looks really cool too… difference will be of course the starting chain but anyway both ways really nifty thank you much, Glenda!😊
l liked this stitch a lot, trying my hand of doing a baby blanket with this stitch, had to do it a few times, but looking good. take care and stay safe
I'm starting this now. Picked up some Premier Just Yarn Tweed from Dollar Tree today. I REALLY like this pattern. Thank you for another great and patient total CGMa 😊❤️
This pattern is so pretty I’ll have to make it but I also wanted to ask you have you ever crocheted thing with plastic bags and if you have can you do a tutorial on it
I loved this~ I only had issues with the first row. I did the multiples stated and kept getting a huge hole after the first “cobblestone” on row 1 so I changed it to multiples of 3+4 instead and skipped only 4 stitches instead of 5. It still works~! Wish I could post pictures.
Ive been following you on UA-cam. Your tutorials are easy to understand and you also have a mixture of colours an the same yarn.from where i am our shops dont sell that. Id like tp order but am from Png Milne Bay Province.
Beautiful Scarf 🧣 just across this video. Are you in contact with Doris? I had her on You Tube and watched her all the time. Then she came on and said that she had to stop her channel, because of some unforeseen trouble that were happening. I home she’s okay. I really enjoyed her and her
Hi wishing i could hold the hook like you do i have been trying it's a great way to hold it less stressful on the hand i think ☺️ i was not teached that way and my hands hurt Nora
Hi. My mother taught me to crochet when I was 12 ,( 60 yrs ago) and that's the way she showed me how to hold the hook. Would like to learn the other way but don't have anyone to show me.
Lovely Glenda. I’ve been making your headbands but thinking about Fall and searching for a nice Unisex pattern. Do you think Mandala would be a good substitute for the Cygnet yarn?
Rita I think the Mandala would work just as well as long as it is the (3) light weight Mandala yarn. It may change the width just a little but would wonderful as well.
You should always hand wash your crochet. Especially if it’s a delicate lacy piece of work. But, always rinse using a fabric softener. When I wash my shawls upon completion, I always hang them soaking wet, using “T” pins inserted through the clothesline at both ends of the shawl, to stretch them out as wide as possible. Then, add pins above every 5-10 inches, all the way across. The stretching & weight of the water pulled the shawl downward. This always gives an even more lacy look, and helps with opening up the stitching. The water is drawn towards the lowest point, which takes about 24 hours to thoroughly dry. But, although this is my method, it is merely a suggestion. So, try it before you knock it.
Thanks for that info. I’m going to try it with Mandala and see what length I can get out of one cake if I shorten or eliminate the fringe. It’s a light #3 and I have a lot in my stash
Beautiful scarf, love the stitch pattern, just a shame that you have used a yarn which appears to have been discontinued. Having said that, I fully intend to make it using a substitute yarn. I wish Cygnet Yarns hadn’t stopped making Prism, as the other colours shown on their website look just as gorgeous as this one, but I can’t find it in stock at any of their listed outlets, whether they are shops or online retailers.
@@CreativeGrandma Don’t worry about it Glenda, you do such good work and have such a kind heart. I just thought I should let you know. Maybe you can still get it in the US. Do you know where the person who gave it to you lives? xxx
I don't know if it is the same as yours Glenda, but Mary Maxim sells a Prism yarn, comes in lots of colors. It seems to looks similar as far as skein size. Very pretty pattern ! Thanks for showing us how it's done.

Really like this stitch...how is Mom? Take care of yourself. 😘
She is still having trouble had to take her to the ER again now on more antibotics and had to change her appointment for her shot in her back.

Great suggestion, always best to see how other people care for their crochet and try it to see what works best.
This yarn is from Cygnet Yarns Ltd. It is a UK company. I don't know how to get it in the USA. It is a double knit #3 light weight.
Thanks for that info. I’m going to try it with Mandala and see what length I can get out of one cake if I shorten or eliminate the fringe. It’s a light #3 and I have a lot in my stash
I would look on amazon or ebay and see if you can find any, I was just told it is discontinued, so I am not sure

I am so sorry I did not know this was discontinued :( I never used it before it was a gift from a friend.
