Well, after watching the video I have to apparently ditch this current mounting setup and try something different. There's way too much instability the way it sits now. Yes, I made sure the feature was enabled. I'm going to research alternatives on how to mount the camera. Any ideas pass them along. I like the quality of the camera for the most part, but back to the drawing board on how to mount it to lose the shakes.

Great video. I really like my Akaso Brave 7 LE. I purchased one this past Summer ('23) because I didn't want a GoPro falling into river - www.youtube.com/@pugmahone

I would say that the plastic long mount is the issue. A sturdier one fixed to the mirror may be better. The frame may be tighter sacrificing background but will help with stability imo. Thanks for the video

I like the direction you are going. I fly radio controlled airplanes, use the RunCam 2 fixed on various planes. They also have series 5, both $100 range. Speaking of Moto vlogs you ever watch Marc Travels? If not check out his latest series. He is riding his Zero electric bike from Berlin Germany to New Zealand. His GF is following in a little Suzuki Jimmy.

Thanks and I'll check them out! My father used to fly RC planes when I was very young. He'd spend all winter painstakingly building one then first time up he'd crash it into a million pieces and laugh like crazy. I think he enjoyed building them over flying them. Great hobby! BTW... is that we he's using on his left mirror for the little cam? Looks flat and small. I don't notice any vibration either.

Thanks for the info! Looking for something as a chin mount mainly as a dash cam type of thing. Not doing motovlog, probably not likely to post anything, is this a good way to go? I go on long 6 hour-ish rides, is there a way to hook it up to external power bank, or my bikes USB-C connection for long recording?

There are motorcycle dash cams you can buy that record footage and loop it so you never have to worry about running out of space. If you're just wanting a cam for safety maybe something like this: ua-cam.com/video/dDyVIYXOriI/v-deo.htmlsi=sZDi06MqHtPW8qf0 Just depends on your goal for the footage. If you're not posting or having an audience to worry about then a static mounted cam might be nice.

Nice video , can u install a Mic adaptor like the one for gopro ? Is it compatible with most of the edit softawer out there ?

You can plug a mic right into the side port, no need for an adapter. Records in common video formats like other cams yes.

I'm rather particular so we'll see. A little more testing before I decide to keep it.

What camera is on your helmet that you’re recording with?

It's an old GoPro 6, which was one of their best. They are more expensive now that the 9. But, the 9 is also good and I use that on the cam mounted to my handlebars. The GoPro 9 is only like $200 buck now. amzn.to/48ecSZt

I’m looking for a camera to record our rides with our side by side (off road). The price of this brand is far more affordable than go pro. Thanks for making this video!!

Make sure you have the stabilization mode ON at all times. It looks like a picture frame on the screen with lines around it when it's enabled.

I purchased the Akaso Brave 7 LE this past Summer ('23) for boat/scooter rides. I purchased it because of price and I didn't want a GoPro to fall into the river. Here's examples - all 2023 videos filmed on the 7 LE - www.youtube.com/@pugmahone
