I was a student at NC State when we had him at SS AND Terrance Holt (Tory’s brother) at FS, one of the all time best college DB-fields next to Dre Bly at UNC
He was a beast. Tackled and blitzed like a linebacker but could make plays in coverage. Guys like Reed, Dawkins, Polamalu, Sharper, Sanders, Brown and Taylor got more recognition but he was right there with them.
I was only a kid when he played, don't really remember him at all, but pulled his card in MUT23 so I looked up this footage to see what he was all about. Looks top tier, like other legendary safeties
I was a big fan it's because he played for the Cardinals if he played for a team like the ravens or Patriots every body would know who he is he was my favorite safety
@@Brian00007 Post-season success isn't the only thing that defines a career. He's one of the few DBs in league history in the 20/20 club. That alone shows how good he was.
One of the most underrated players of the 2000s 💯
NFL Matchup Highlights indeed. Seems to be forgotten now a days, just like many early 2000 stars.
bro he is such a great player now maybe one of the best
@@garrettbarquero7304 way better numbers than Troy Polamalu.. one of the best safeties ever.. Wilson was a all around player
agreed, he is the best ss in AZ history

Arguably the most underrated safety of all time
One of best complete safeties of the 2000s doesnt get the credit he deserves
He went to a Super Bowl with DRC and Rolle. Played the game similar to Brain Dawkins.
Very underrated player
Forever in our hearts . He was awesome.

i'd comfortably take wilson over taylor ngl. pretty apples to oranges considering its free vs strong safety but still
@@ogvektor Taylor is my all-time favourite player and I wouldn’t but Wilson was definitely a baller.

I use to tell people how good he was, and people had no clue who he was. 🤦🏾♂️
jmaal2345 People always forget he was a key player in the Cards super bowl Run, very efficient and a great tackling safety
I was a big fan it's because he played for the Cardinals if he played for a team like the ravens or Patriots every body would know who he is he was my favorite safety
omg this dude used to be a menace against my niners. honestly probably the closest thing to sean taylor
man you my favorite UA-cam channel you think you can do London Fletcher.
The original defense enforcer
Underrated
BEAST MODE !!!💪🏽💪🏽
Reminded me of Antrelle Rolle
24 for life
Dam I forgot about this guy
Kam chancellor plays just like this
A Dub! I never forgot!!!
Cardinals need to go back to those old uni's
Hell no lmao. That uniform was the most dead bland look in the league after the Browns. The new fierce bird is light years better
You the goat for this
Good shit
The gridiron griots brought me here!
Yeah for real not like he’s my dad or anything hahaha
Your dad was the truth
This is kyle hamilton thus guy right now
i have his autograghed real game jersy he wore
They dk bout this smh
Its a shame this guy wasted his career on a bad team
Didn't waste his career though. Pro Bowls, an All-Pro and went tons Super Bowl. Thousands of player never achieved a single one of those things.
@@Ginga he went to one superbowl, and he could've achieved all that on any team
@@Brian00007 True but he also might not have. Just because never won a Super Bowl doesn't mean it was a wasted career.
@@Ginga true but he missed the playoffs more than he's made them
