My family has enjoyed our backyard pool for 20 plus years. One of the best things we did when our kids were young. One piece of advice for pool heaters: We ran ours only in the spring and fall when needed. It really sucked down the propane. Plan ahead as it'll only raise the water temp about 1 degree an hour, so depending on the weather and who'd be swimming, I normally turned it up the day before. Enjoy!
Concrete look really good. That powered release brings back memories, messy ones! We got that all in the river one time and was worried EPA was going to get us!
@@goodlucktrying21drywall and mud delivered Friday. Lumber and rebar for a covered deck and suspended slab front porch over a room in the basement were delivered Friday too so should be a big week this week. Your house is much bigger, and I really like this timber/steel frame stuff I’m seeing. It’s going to look great.
I was waiting on somebody to pull out the Beverly Hillbillies on me 😀. Fitting for me! I have had the kids in the pond a few times and Kristin said that is what caused their ear infections so she cut us off. I told her it would build their immunity but she didn’t go for it
I’m a long way away from cooking a hotdog but when I do, you’re invited. That release does make a mess and I would say you had some people scratching their head as it floated down stream trying to figure out what it was.

I definitely have a learning curve ahead of me, I appreciate the tip, makes perfect sense! Appreciate the comment

Concrete and pool look great. Enjoy that family time man. Can’t beat it.
Thank You, time is very elusive but you have to try and catch as much as you can. Appreciate it as always and hope the house is coming along well.

Glad things are moving along for you, that is a good use of space under your front porch, so many times those were filled with dirt and not utilized.
That looks great! I know my kids really enjoyed mine when they were little.
Thank You Sean, I think they will have a good time with it
Look forward to wearing my speedo next spring in the pool. I hope I remember my swimming diapers!!
Well Brian, in that case the pool is closed indefinitely for maintenance 😀
What them dirt ponds not good enough, so you have to have a fiberglass pond? I figured you’d want a cement pond! 😂

I have the same stamp on my patio... it holds just a tad of water in the low spots... drives me nuts.
Only thing better than having a pool….
is friends with a pool.
Less maintenance.
True, I guess Judith and the kids will reep the benefits, you’re not allowed around my place in a swimsuit

When's the first big BBQ?
