Just seen this via PDN, every time I pass those houses breaks my heart that they've been deliberately left to fall into such a state of ruin that they'll never be restored. Thank you. Love the little irony of the abundant red and pink flowers in the conservatory.
The house was sold to the owners of some large retail chains among other things. It was sold with the intention that they would redeveloped it keeping the original house intact. Unfortunately it seems they have got greedy and have not done what they planned. This house has a very special place in my heart.
This house was lived in around 2014 and was a beautiful house. The people who now own it seem to be running it down in the hope of being given money to restore it.
Oh but to have a greenhouse/nursery like that ! I love plants, starting them from seeds or transplanting them, making a veggie garden or flower beds..anything ! I just love all of it. But now I'm to old & not able to like I once could but that's something I would of loved to had at one time. Thanks for this great video..
Big place. Rolled sheathing is actually a pretty good way to buckle down a house. If galvanized it won't rust and will always look freshly done. Pricey though to do I would think. Cheers
Yes it definitely keeps people out. A good thing in a way to stop vandals getting in. I can only imagine its beautiful inside and untouched. Thank you.
you use a new edit programme? wow what a great location great find thats a urbex jewel :) the greenhouse attached to it is so cool but from the outside its the best the metal work is indeed very nice too cant wait to come to wales will it be meeting you too man? i hope so ;)
Yes I'm just experimenting with things on the editing side lol. Its a really nice place, very expensive area to live. Yes that would be great, me you and Sam on an explore would be great.
Yes it is. They use metal sheeting on almost all abandoned buildings. I think its the only way to keep people out. It looks very unsightly. They could at least paint them so they look like windows.
such a gorgeous house, such a shame its still rotting there. Id love to see what its like inside. Also curious to who the silly sod is who owns it and has just let nature reclaim it!!
If i could get inside id show you what it looks like inside...id love to go in there. I went over a year ago so i don't know if theres a way in or not now. Thanks for watching.
Yes it was too bad i couldn't find a way in because i imagine its beautiful inside. And yes i will definitely keep an eye on this one. Ive heard they are re-developing it into flats which is sad. Thanks for watching.

Yes its shocking that they are just left, i haven't been there for over a year, is it still like that.??
I live next door, yes it is still the same. Chap called Colin Stephens used to own it. He also owned amusement arcades at Barry Island.
Wow, misterchristmas! :)

Ssl Lle So sad that it couldn't been saved for homeless or low income families. Divided into family quarters.
Yes it is sad and its in such a beautiful location. I would love to own this place and turn it back into the house it once was.
I like the details and the woodwork inside.. Such a beautiful house! Great video mate :)
Yes these victorian places are becoming more rare now. Its such a shame there are a lot more about like this. Thanks for watching.

More likely they are letting it run down so that they will be granted permission to knock it down and build flats, shameful.
Congrats on 400 subscribers Wayne :)
Thank you Sam.

CollidingPlanets Exploring We'd get along famously !.. lol
I'd rather have my hands in dirt than have a broom & dust cloth in my hand any day..

The use of metal to seal it up seems really strange! Is that common there?
