IMP note : Bishnupriya Manipuri a vaishnavite community originated from Bishnupur(ningthoukhong) and Lumlangdong in the earlier times of manipur (Kangleipak). Meitei discriminated against us and forced us to leave the valley. They call us Mayang(foreigner) and copycats just cz we don’t speak their language although we share the same traditions and culture. Now we are separated from our motherland due to Meitei and our history has been vanished as Pamheiba (a meitei king) burned our puranas( scriptures) just like the way islamic invaders did to mainland india. IMP note : Bishnupriya Manipuri a vaishnavite community originated from Bishnupur(ningthoukhong) and Lumlangdong in the earlier times of manipur
(Kangleipak). Meitei discriminated against us and forced us to leave the valley. They call us Mayang(foreigner) and copycats just cz we don’t speak their language although we share the same traditions and culture. Now we are separated from our motherland due to Meitei and our history has been vanished as Pamheiba (a meitei king) burned our puranas( scriptures) just like the way islamic invaders did to mainland india. Meanwhile kukis have been hospitable and very good to us. They even allowed bishnupriya manipuri community to settle at their places, open small businesses and gave lands to build temples. Meitei wants to have monopoly over Manipur and are intolerant of non meiteis. They treat non Meiteis as 3rd class citizens. The voice of Kuki and Naga people should also be heard. Lastly to my fellow sanatani people, don't trust anyone blindly just cz they are hindus, there are many meiteis who wear tilak and eat beef.
