I just wanted to say a few things about the mod. Originally, this was made as just a fun hobby for me and my friends. I never expected it to get this level of popularity. Due to this I mainly built the mod for my friends and I, expecting maybe like a couple hundred or so people to play it at most. If I knew that so many people where to want to play it, I would have changed a lot in the mod (also i started making it when I was like 14-15 so :P). Im still very happy with how it came out, and very thankful for all of the support that some of you have been giving! For the others, I understand your criticisms, but again; One: This was originally made for just me and my friends and Two: It's just a fun mod I made! It doesn't cost anyone anything and it isnt hurting anyone. Also the mistake with the credits was a genuine mistake and I fixed it the second I realized that I forgot T-T. With all of that said, I hope you guys enjoy what comes next ^v^

for anyone confused, this isnt the official indie cross V2, this is a fanmade mod called Indie Cross Plus, which simply adds new songs and content to the original mod, it is not official.
I honestly have no idea what i just watched and half of the comments are confusing. "The amount of detail in this mod is amazing" I'm going to assume those people have never watched indie cross v1 and this is their first time seeing it through this video.

Watched this thinking it was the actual V2 of Indie Cross. Thank god it wasn't. This mod is literally just the original Indie Cross with uncredited remixes, oc inserts, covers of already existing songs. They even removed the combat mechanics for Last Reel. It's essentially the Hello Neighbor of FNF, years of growing potential just for utter disappointment. And the greatest atrocity this mod has commited was removing Despair... for a fucking Death Toll cover.
The remixes literally credit the composers though ? Whether permission was gained or not is a whole other thing but the remixes literally credit the composers
1. Mf wait until the end of the video before saying there’s no credits and they literally credit them at the beginning of the song 2. it’s only a bonus week with like 4 bonus songs compared to the 29 other songs it’s not even bad 3. there’s still original songs 4. they didnt even fully remove the combat mechanics for last reel it was only nerfed, and the sin notes being insta kill and the ink notes being buffed makes up for the nerfed butcher gang. + it was so they could do stuff with the camera properly btw since ur upset about despair not being in the mod it wasnt replaced with death toll it’s just that despair was planned but it got moved to v1.5
@@kris_something 1. I said my bad already, geez. 2. Like I said, the abundance of already made remixes doesn't make up for the lack of original content throughout the mod. Even then, the new additions were barely even related to the indie genre. 3. 2 original songs. That's it. 4. Saying that the combat for Last Reel was nerfed is a heavy understatement. It's literally just a reskin of the minion dodging from Satanic Funkin' (even though it appeared in Despair along with the combat.) More ink notes isn't gonna change the difficulty if the chart itself is the exact same, either. They even nerfed the hell outta the Fisher walking in the foreground at the end of the song. I'm at least happy that Despair will come back in 1.5, but there wasn't even a reason to get rid of it in the first place.
I love how one song its an enigmatic encounter, they just made indie cross EVEN more epic, even if its fanmade, i love it, thank you for bringing us this masterpiece
Isnt Among Us an Indie Game and the only thing the ocs really do is replace Bf in the bonus. And its a bonus week. they arent bound to as many rules as the main weeks

True, there's a lot of OC fnf mod out there that is very popular without using any already popular game characters like Mid Fight Masses, Vs Hex, Vs Tabi and so much more! Incredibly conflicting fan mod for me. Adds new stuff that fits the idea of Indie Cross being a mod about indie games, but also adds stuff that rubs me the wrong way. The inclusion of an Among Us week makes sense, it’s an indie game that got insanely popular and is now iconic, but most of the songs from Among Us are just vocal covers of songs from other mods with no changes to make it feel new. This applies to most of the mod’s new content that’s added here. Some songs I wasn’t able to tell if they were just vocal covers, but others I could tell right away. In particular, Week 3+ is so different from the rest of the + weeks and I don’t know why, but I’ll get to that in a bit. Speaking of the + weeks, I have no issues with Week 1+, but Week 2+ I feel I have an issue with. I don’t hate replacing BF with Frisk in Bad Time, but just a cover of AEE with FNF vocals isn’t gonna cut it. I really hate when Undertale FNF mods just have the songs be existing tracks with FNF vocals over them. I think the only week here I disliked besides the Among Us week is 3+. I don’t mind throwing OCs in here, it’s just incredibly out of place, and replacing Despair with a cover of Death Toll really pissed me off. That was my favourite song in Indie Cross and it just isn’t here. Devil’s Gambit and Bad Time are here, too, so I don’t get why it’s excluded from this mod. Speaking of OCs, I also would’ve preferred the Among Us week to not revolve around those. It’s a nitpick, I know considering the game’s structure it would be hard to work around, just would’ve preferred without them personally. The other bonus songs are okay, adding the scrapped song Glamorous back in was a good idea, but I just ain’t feeling most of the stuff here besides the Car song and Pastellar. It’s clearly made as a fan mod made by friends for fun, so I can’t really be too harsh, but I don’t really like it and feel that some of the vocal covers of songs from other songs with nearly no changes should’ve been removed, that and the OCs. Glad you guys had fun with it, I just would prefer of some elements for changed because it drags down the new stuff for me and makes it just “Indie Cross with some vocal covers and a few new songs” to me. Also the noteskin reminded me of Bob and Bosip and that did not give me a good first impression.
For a fanmade mod, it’s good for the most part, though I was expecting more from this mod. If you plan on giving this mod another update, you can maybe do two things: Re-add some of the songs from the original Indie Cross mod that were left out (Despair, Saness, and Gose to name a few) and maybe make the covers unlockable when the player beats the whole mod or so.

I am convinced people can't read because at the start of the video it literally says this mod is fanmade idk why people thought it was official. Also it's crazy that nobody charted Saster's mix of Snake Eyes until now via this fanmade mod.
this… is not what indie cross is supposed to be. sure, there are some aspects of indie cross sprinkled around in here! you guys really could have made an oc mod instead, though. i dont understand why there are personal ocs sprinkled in a mod about 3 specific indie games and said ocs aren’t related to the games or based off them whatsoever. it feels like heavy clutter of random inside jokes too that i dont think many of us understand either. the art is pretty good though, don’t get me wrong but overall this just isn’t a very good mod in regards to it’s main point; appreciating the indie scene.
Alright, I actually played the mod this time, and here is my honest review. It's just indie cross but with bonus songs that were already made by the indie cross team. All they did were add remixes and the "cutscenes" for their plus songs were just ripped bits of OTHER cutscenes formed to make 1 cutscene. They filled the mod with their garbage furry ocs even though this mod is about INDIE GAME characters, all the assets and cutscenes were made by the original indie cross team while their shitty ocs were the only thing they added themselves. One of sans plus songs is LITERALLY just "an enigmatic encounter" with bf and sans chromatics placed over it. Their "remix" of knockout is just the beta version of the original knockout. And one of the bendy songs has one of their ocs that has nothing to do with batim, batdr, or fnf come to "save the day". 50% of the songs are just about their own self insert ocs. All of the actual GOOD songs were from the Original indie cross mod. call it "Indie Cross Minus" because maybe you should try subtracting yourself from the mod for once. Why don't you add more story, more characters, and actual songs rather than relying on remixes to save the buttfart that is this rushed mod. The only "plus" in this mod is you, and it can't even be considered a plus because it's only a downgrade. Crazy how you added "Crossed Out" because I think you should try "crossing out" yourself. 2/10 mod.

Sure, it ain’t your usual BATIM fare, but that’s what the bonus label’s for: experimenting and branching out. Ain’t no law against creativity, boy! Now, your talk about "Crossed Out" and "An Enigmatic Encounter" bein’ reused-well, it’s a common thing in fan mods to pay homage or use existing songs as frameworks. Even if you don’t love it, they credited the sources and didn’t try to pull a fast one. That’s respect right there. And this mod wasn’t “rushed,” son; it was made by a smaller team, includin’ a director who started this project as a teen. That’s gumption, boy! If you can’t appreciate the effort, maybe you’re missin’ the forest for the trees. Sure, you might want more story or original content, but it’s unfair to call it a downgrade when it clearly expanded the original with what they had. Y no el mod no se seguirá actualizando, el creador no ha confirmado nada, aunque diga v1 no significa que podria seguir actualizandose hasta que el creador confirme algo y no la update de parche no cuenta como contenido nuevo. Ademas lo de que decis que el plus es mejor que el indie cross original ni esa te la crees, literal el plus son solo remixes, unas cuantas canciones self insert nuevas y poco contenido interesante relacionado a los indies, literal solo hay 2 canciones para personajes indie. De ahi el resto es contenido remixeado, rescatado o reciclado del indie cross. Hasta empeora algunos aspectos como los iconos o algunas animaciones que oh dios mio son del indie cross original pero en peor calidsd, no es mejor, ni llegara a ser lo que es el indie cross original.

I was trying the mod out during the premiere... and I ran into a few bugs. In Technicolor Tussle, Knockout, and Knockout Beta, attacking does nothing. (I filed a bug report on the GameBanana page, this also applied to the Parry Notes during those same songs.)
Although a lot of people are saying this is garbage, I don't think so, this mod is pretty fun and I like it, even if it isn't for everyone, thank you for making it, and giving me and the people who care, a silly little mod that we can play, I appreciate your work dude :]

Im seeing a lot of people in the commenta here saying things like like "Boy, this mod isn't literally the best thing ever made." Ok? This isn't supposed to be v2 or the next huge mod or anything. It's just a fun passion project made by people who like Indie Cross. For what it is, it's absolutely incredible. You all gotta take a step back and just appreciate the work that is here, instead of being upset this doesn't meet your unreasonably high expectations based off v2. Hell, I bet v2 is gonna be a letdown for some people based off how people are overly glazing og Indie Cross right now. Overall though, this mod IS amazing. Huge props to the team, I hope these annoying kids in the comments don't take away from what a great mod this is.
That's not what they mean, the creators only added 2 songs and maybe tweaked some stuff and went: "my goodness I'm bored let's turn this into showing off our OCs for 2/3s of the mod!"
@VertiGone111 actually wild that you skipped over the massive amount of new and fully animated cutscenes, new character sprites snd backgrounds, fully remastered/covered songs, updated gimmicks, and high quality charts for songs that originally lacked them. That's not even to mention a lot of the things that look stolen, but we're actually remade from the ground up in the back end (but you can't tell because it's so faithful to the source). I'm sure this isn't a comprehensive list of everything great about this mod, but you see what I mean. Again, what were you expecting from this mod? Genuinely, please tell me if you wanna push back again, because I'm not sure why everyone is so disappointed in a fan project like this. You're allowed to not like it, but this level of pushback and hate is unprecedented.
@@Knuckles_-sq5zj the trailer exclusively shows things that are in the mod, including warning people if they don't like the furry stuff (which is a matter opinion really). If you like the trailer, you have to praise the mod for the exact same things as well.
The mod is incredible, my only suggestion is that if you are going to use the last breath Sans theme, the ideal would have been to include the mechanic of reversing the screens, that's all

this shouldve been it's own mod instead of a copy with new (mediocre), this is a mod about indie games, not the people making the mod, sure, among us week is kind of cool, until you realise that it's pretty much exactly the style of vs imposter v4 with no uniqueness other that the character designs being the dev's among us character and the furry characters (which loses the point of the among us dev week and taken out of that context isn't unique anymore). Also, they put in a danger cover, not inherently bad, they remixed the backing track, but, dont you think, that remix, would be better in the WEEK ABOUT THE GODDAMN GAME THE MOD THE SONG IS ORIGINALLY FROM? The instrumental is good, but bendy's chromatic does not work with it. The chromatics for the furry characters also grate on my ears, as they are just the right mix of components to suck ASS. Can't wait for indie cross V2 to blow this out of the water, not even any new games included other than rhythm games and games already having well known mods about them. Do better next time.

I’m gonna be honest, I am not a fan of this mod. The reason I say this is because this is just a mess of a mod that uses the popular fnf mod, Indie cross. There are good songs there and there but like everything else kinda sounds not great. Mostly the covers of other songs just don’t sound good.

Watched this thinking it was the actual V2 of Indie Cross. Thank god it wasn't.
This mod is literally just the original Indie Cross with uncredited remixes, oc inserts, covers of already existing songs. They even removed the combat mechanics for Last Reel. It's essentially the Hello Neighbor of FNF, years of growing potential just for utter disappointment.
And the greatest atrocity this mod has commited was removing Despair... for a fucking Death Toll cover.
The remixes literally credit the composers though ?
Whether permission was gained or not is a whole other thing but the remixes literally credit the composers

2. Like I said, the abundance of already made remixes doesn't make up for the lack of original content throughout the mod. Even then, the new additions were barely even related to the indie genre.
3. 2 original songs. That's it.
4. Saying that the combat for Last Reel was nerfed is a heavy understatement. It's literally just a reskin of the minion dodging from Satanic Funkin' (even though it appeared in Despair along with the combat.) More ink notes isn't gonna change the difficulty if the chart itself is the exact same, either. They even nerfed the hell outta the Fisher walking in the foreground at the end of the song.
I'm at least happy that Despair will come back in 1.5, but there wasn't even a reason to get rid of it in the first place.
I love how one song its an enigmatic encounter, they just made indie cross EVEN more epic, even if its fanmade, i love it, thank you for bringing us this masterpiece

Incredibly conflicting fan mod for me. Adds new stuff that fits the idea of Indie Cross being a mod about indie games, but also adds stuff that rubs me the wrong way.
The inclusion of an Among Us week makes sense, it’s an indie game that got insanely popular and is now iconic, but most of the songs from Among Us are just vocal covers of songs from other mods with no changes to make it feel new. This applies to most of the mod’s new content that’s added here. Some songs I wasn’t able to tell if they were just vocal covers, but others I could tell right away. In particular, Week 3+ is so different from the rest of the + weeks and I don’t know why, but I’ll get to that in a bit.
Speaking of the + weeks, I have no issues with Week 1+, but Week 2+ I feel I have an issue with. I don’t hate replacing BF with Frisk in Bad Time, but just a cover of AEE with FNF vocals isn’t gonna cut it. I really hate when Undertale FNF mods just have the songs be existing tracks with FNF vocals over them.
I think the only week here I disliked besides the Among Us week is 3+. I don’t mind throwing OCs in here, it’s just incredibly out of place, and replacing Despair with a cover of Death Toll really pissed me off. That was my favourite song in Indie Cross and it just isn’t here. Devil’s Gambit and Bad Time are here, too, so I don’t get why it’s excluded from this mod. Speaking of OCs, I also would’ve preferred the Among Us week to not revolve around those. It’s a nitpick, I know considering the game’s structure it would be hard to work around, just would’ve preferred without them personally.
The other bonus songs are okay, adding the scrapped song Glamorous back in was a good idea, but I just ain’t feeling most of the stuff here besides the Car song and Pastellar. It’s clearly made as a fan mod made by friends for fun, so I can’t really be too harsh, but I don’t really like it and feel that some of the vocal covers of songs from other songs with nearly no changes should’ve been removed, that and the OCs. Glad you guys had fun with it, I just would prefer of some elements for changed because it drags down the new stuff for me and makes it just “Indie Cross with some vocal covers and a few new songs” to me.
Also the noteskin reminded me of Bob and Bosip and that did not give me a good first impression.
Honestly, the Goobars remix for Gooey's game over screen is really good, it feels like Goobars is Gooey's natural theme.

For a fanmade mod, it’s good for the most part, though I was expecting more from this mod. If you plan on giving this mod another update, you can maybe do two things: Re-add some of the songs from the original Indie Cross mod that were left out (Despair, Saness, and Gose to name a few) and maybe make the covers unlockable when the player beats the whole mod or so.

Alright, I actually played the mod this time, and here is my honest review. It's just indie cross but with bonus songs that were already made by the indie cross team. All they did were add remixes and the "cutscenes" for their plus songs were just ripped bits of OTHER cutscenes formed to make 1 cutscene. They filled the mod with their garbage furry ocs even though this mod is about INDIE GAME characters, all the assets and cutscenes were made by the original indie cross team while their shitty ocs were the only thing they added themselves. One of sans plus songs is LITERALLY just "an enigmatic encounter" with bf and sans chromatics placed over it. Their "remix" of knockout is just the beta version of the original knockout. And one of the bendy songs has one of their ocs that has nothing to do with batim, batdr, or fnf come to "save the day". 50% of the songs are just about their own self insert ocs. All of the actual GOOD songs were from the Original indie cross mod. call it "Indie Cross Minus" because maybe you should try subtracting yourself from the mod for once. Why don't you add more story, more characters, and actual songs rather than relying on remixes to save the buttfart that is this rushed mod. The only "plus" in this mod is you, and it can't even be considered a plus because it's only a downgrade. Crazy how you added "Crossed Out" because I think you should try "crossing out" yourself.

First off, yes, it’s an expansion of Indie Cross, so naturally it’s gonna use assets and songs from the original. Ain’t no shame in that-it's building on the foundation, not replacing it. And those remixes and extra songs? Sure, not all of ‘em hit the bullseye, but some folks might just see ‘em as bonus content. Ever thought of that?
As for the OCs, I say, boy, don’t forget that this is a fan-made project. Fans are gonna toss in their own spice. The main weeks are still rooted in the indie game charm-Sans, Cuphead, and Bendy are all right there, plain as day. That fox with wings? Sure, it ain’t your usual BATIM fare, but that’s what the bonus label’s for: experimenting and branching out. Ain’t no law against creativity, boy!
Now, your talk about "Crossed Out" and "An Enigmatic Encounter" bein’ reused-well, it’s a common thing in fan mods to pay homage or use existing songs as frameworks. Even if you don’t love it, they credited the sources and didn’t try to pull a fast one. That’s respect right there.
And this mod wasn’t “rushed,” son; it was made by a smaller team, includin’ a director who started this project as a teen. That’s gumption, boy! If you can’t appreciate the effort, maybe you’re missin’ the forest for the trees. Sure, you might want more story or original content, but it’s unfair to call it a downgrade when it clearly expanded the original with what they had.
So before you go callin’ this a "buttfart" (which, I say, is mighty undignified), maybe tip your hat to the effort these folks put in. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with constructive critique, but this here diatribe could use a pinch more grace and a heap less vinegar.

Ademas lo de que decis que el plus es mejor que el indie cross original ni esa te la crees, literal el plus son solo remixes, unas cuantas canciones self insert nuevas y poco contenido interesante relacionado a los indies, literal solo hay 2 canciones para personajes indie. De ahi el resto es contenido remixeado, rescatado o reciclado del indie cross. Hasta empeora algunos aspectos como los iconos o algunas animaciones que oh dios mio son del indie cross original pero en peor calidsd, no es mejor, ni llegara a ser lo que es el indie cross original.

I was trying the mod out during the premiere... and I ran into a few bugs. In Technicolor Tussle, Knockout, and Knockout Beta, attacking does nothing. (I filed a bug report on the GameBanana page, this also applied to the Parry Notes during those same songs.)
Although a lot of people are saying this is garbage, I don't think so, this mod is pretty fun and I like it, even if it isn't for everyone, thank you for making it, and giving me and the people who care, a silly little mod that we can play, I appreciate your work dude :]

Im seeing a lot of people in the commenta here saying things like like "Boy, this mod isn't literally the best thing ever made."
Ok? This isn't supposed to be v2 or the next huge mod or anything. It's just a fun passion project made by people who like Indie Cross. For what it is, it's absolutely incredible. You all gotta take a step back and just appreciate the work that is here, instead of being upset this doesn't meet your unreasonably high expectations based off v2. Hell, I bet v2 is gonna be a letdown for some people based off how people are overly glazing og Indie Cross right now.
Overall though, this mod IS amazing. Huge props to the team, I hope these annoying kids in the comments don't take away from what a great mod this is.
That's not what they mean, the creators only added 2 songs and maybe tweaked some stuff and went: "my goodness I'm bored let's turn this into showing off our OCs for 2/3s of the mod!"

@VertiGone111 actually wild that you skipped over the massive amount of new and fully animated cutscenes, new character sprites snd backgrounds, fully remastered/covered songs, updated gimmicks, and high quality charts for songs that originally lacked them. That's not even to mention a lot of the things that look stolen, but we're actually remade from the ground up in the back end (but you can't tell because it's so faithful to the source). I'm sure this isn't a comprehensive list of everything great about this mod, but you see what I mean.
Again, what were you expecting from this mod? Genuinely, please tell me if you wanna push back again, because I'm not sure why everyone is so disappointed in a fan project like this. You're allowed to not like it, but this level of pushback and hate is unprecedented.

@@meepyboi5157 Uh, alright, dude. I'm not sure what your issue is. I like both. Indie cross is an amazing mod and really revolutionary. Indie Cross Plus is an amazing expansion to those same ideas. All the people who worked on it spent loads of time and effort and it turned out wonderful

this shouldve been it's own mod instead of a copy with new (mediocre), this is a mod about indie games, not the people making the mod, sure, among us week is kind of cool, until you realise that it's pretty much exactly the style of vs imposter v4 with no uniqueness other that the character designs being the dev's among us character and the furry characters (which loses the point of the among us dev week and taken out of that context isn't unique anymore). Also, they put in a danger cover, not inherently bad, they remixed the backing track, but, dont you think, that remix, would be better in the WEEK ABOUT THE GODDAMN GAME THE MOD THE SONG IS ORIGINALLY FROM? The instrumental is good, but bendy's chromatic does not work with it. The chromatics for the furry characters also grate on my ears, as they are just the right mix of components to suck ASS. Can't wait for indie cross V2 to blow this out of the water, not even any new games included other than rhythm games and games already having well known mods about them. Do better next time.

I’m gonna be honest, I am not a fan of this mod. The reason I say this is because this is just a mess of a mod that uses the popular fnf mod, Indie cross. There are good songs there and there but like everything else kinda sounds not great. Mostly the covers of other songs just don’t sound good.

They downgraded the icons, replaced the Bendy Nightmare song with Death Toll which makes no sense, traced most of the artwork from the official music videos, added a self-insert furry week, added covers which all sound kind of bad, this was not really worth the hype
