I'm wondering what going on here. I'm from the Netherlands and where I live they also have peat en exploit it but I have never seen a machine like this. Is this a fresh field of peat, from which the remove the top layer right now?
Machine is Finnish Suokone meripeateq 6m. He makes the shape out in the field, then peat dry much better and water go away better. Tractor is Valtra T 161 and it is also made in Finland.
That thing takes a big horse in front to pull it. Is that like a terrace tool or something? or creating waterways to decant the soil? Very interresting.

Potting soil peat being tilled up is my guess. It does not look like something they would want to burn.
