I haven't tried Ouai, but switching to salon brands only has made a huge difference for my hair.
I normally stick to salon brands, but I do love Ouai haircare and I find their products to be salon grade, which is no surprise because the brand is owned by the very talented (celebrity hairstylist) Jen Atkins. There are so many hyped up non salon brands at Sephora in this price range that don’t even come close to the quality of this brand. I recently purchased some of their body products during the holiday sale, and while they are on the pricey side, they’re worth it when you want to indulge a bit. They’re very luxurious, the scents are heavenly, and the quality is just as amazing as the haircare.

Yes I love this as well im the fine hair to and I've been using quai for 3 years now this year im trying the hair oil and the spray for the fist time love them....I buy these products on the Sepora sales ....but ya I really love your channel happy holidays

I just ordered their medium line. I love that idea of a medium. Like most medium people. Fine hair products aren’t enough moisture and heavy course is too too much. I did play mixologist on several occasions. I can’t wait to try. I wanted the large refills but I’m going to see if they have a holiday sale later this month.

Thanks for the review!! Request for a future topic - how hair products react with bleached hair. I get blonde balayage and if I use shampoo and conditioner with proteins then I find it makes my hair brittle.. then other products with mainly oils weigh my hair down. It's hard to find a balance. Not sure if that's your expertise but I'd love to hear the science behind that!
Proteins are good for strengthening the hair once it’s strong you no longer need to use it which is probably why your hair feels brittle because its causing a build up . You most likely need hydration/moisture now. My hair is colored blonde so I know what you mean. I’ve been using this line & I love it. Bytw Iam a HairStylist hope this helps 🤗

used Amika once & it was a nice shampoo but not enough for my medium coarse hair. So I would say Quai over that. I use the Quai shampoo for medium hair & I use their treatment mask for thick hair as a conditioner because regular conditioner just isn’t enough for my hair & ive also went blonder. Hope this helps 😊
Ouai is kind of French; it looks like a version of the French word "ouais" (pronounced roughly weh) which means "yeah"

I just discovered OUAI and I LOVE it!! I also have fine hair and it's really helped my hair a LOT!! I'm so glad I found it! It was recommended by a hair stylist on UA-cam, so I gave it a try. I'm never going back to Dove shampoo and conditioner, because they're not really REAL hair care, I also found this out from the same stylist. He owns his own salon,so I trust him. He's never steered me wrong,and I love his honesty.

I am currently testing Ouai shampoo for medium hair. Don't know if it is doing anything as I've washed my hair only twice using it, but my hair fills differently. I'd say cleaner than after Loreal Prof or Tsubaki

I have tried a few things from this line, the fine hair conditioner and the Detox Shampoo (have hard water). I think it’s just ok, definitely over priced. The fine hair conditioner is just a basic light conditioner. The Detox Shampoo works, but it strips your hair and can be drying…after using it, I burned my hair when blow drying. Never, ever had that happen before. So I would recommend that one use a good conditioner with the Detox shampoo, and be careful with heat styling after using.
I paid $32 each for my shampoo and conditioner- I can’t wait to try it. I got the one for thick hair. I actually got a sample of the one for fine hair and I loved that so I went ahead and bought the thick one for my hair type.

I was deciding on the Ouai Fine Hair system but wasn’t able to justify the price point. I ended up picking the Ameliorate clarifying shampoo instead, but will definitely try Ouai now after your review :)

what did you think about this for oily hair? I have fine hair but for some weird reason I have a lot of hair on my ends. anytime I use a shampoo that isn't the tea tree one from Paul Mitchell my hair is oily the next day.

I watched this review to see if she mentioned hair loss. I started using this for medium hair about 3 months ago and love they way my hair looks but I have had problems with thinning hair in the past and it has started coming out really badly again. I’m going to go back to my old shampoo for a month and see if it helps.

Hey Kenna (and anyone else listening!) did you find the scent to be really powerful? I'm incredibly interested in the brand, but not sure if the smell would elicit headaches for me.
She did mention she likes the fragrance. I think it’s sooo individual. She also said the fragrance lasts a long time. It’s the bees I’m concerned about because I’m a gardener😱🤣
do you know what porosity your hair is? I also have fine hair & a lot of it, but I can't use a ton of protein long term because my hair can't handle it. it's really hard to find good products that don't have a lot of protein in them.
thjs. i have low por hair and this product sounds good but i am scared because one of their main ingredients is keratin, a protein (!), and i know that my hair doesn’t deal well with protein. though i have heard that if the protein is hydrolyzed, like it is in ouai, it suits low por hair better

What would you recommend for someone who started losing their hair early 20s? Thyroid levels checked and are fine. It's really depressing and stressful being reminded everyday how much hair I have lost. You can see how bad it is on top and the back. Just started in my early 20s.

Can we use fine hair shampoo and conditioner for medium hair type?
Absolutely. There are very small differences in the fine to medium products. I wouldn't recommend someone with fine hair using a shampoo/ condition for coarse hair though because it may be too heavy.
Definitely buy ouai thinning hair shampoo. Ive used it for the first time today and oh my god, it smells so good and it really helps thin hair, if ur not into smelling tho dont buy it, its very potent and my family could smell me walking down the hall

could you review Prose haircare?? they’re a customizable brand (kinda like function of beauty) and it’s roughly $48 USD for both shampoo and conditioner. i’ve been using them for a few months now and i haven’t had to reorder yet! super interested from an ingredients and packaging point of view❤️ also you look amazing😍👏🏼

I have fine oily hair and I love it. Try to get a samples at Sephora( actually that’s how I discovered this shampoo and conditioner) and see if you like it.
I recently bought this and after I used it, I read a lot of reviews online from people saying this Ouai shampoo for Fine Hair caused their hair to fall out. :'( Now I am afraid to use it. Have you experienced any hair loss after using this shampoo?

What are your thoughts on OUAI "leave-in conditioner"? I had read that it's more of a "hair perfume / detangler" than a leave-in conditioner.
I’ve had it….didnt like it at all tbh, left my hair really crispy and dry. Same with the Aveda one.
I was expecting glossy hair I could run my fingers thru and I didn’t get the result I was hoping for
Thanks for sharing your experience with Ouai's leave in conditioner. Have you found an a different "leave in conditioner" that you like better? I tried Pureology Color Fanatic but found it too heavy for my fine hair.
@@summersadie3687 my hair type is fine but lots of it and coloured and tangles after washing. You may actually find the ouai leave in conditioner works for you. If your hair is fine and not processed. For me nothing beats the Oribe leave in conditioner but it’s not a spray and very expensive 😫
I could not get over the overwhelming smell of this shampoo and conditioner. It is mixed with three flowers, Magnolia, Peony & Jasmine. It smells like my great grandmothers dresser drawers.

It can be different cause. I lost half of my hair right after COVID infection, but now my hair is growing back.

@@roxayne734 Started to wash my hair with lukewarm water(not hot water) and take Liver Cod oil, K2(K7), Zinc. In most of the cases shampoo has nothing to do with fall out. It’s better to visit your doctor first and find out real causes.
