Adam, you should explain for noobs that while leveling use a combination of each armour weight so they are basically all at 50 when you hit level 50 with the character
@@arro-gance yeah, that's exactly what I was hoping to see in part of the armor sets, but... Is this build still relevant? And, as I understand it, he used medium armor with light parts?
OMG I love this. I have been looking FOREVER for a viable 2H / SnB build for my templar to make a paladin that could do enough damage to solo stuff and this looks like its it. Im close to this already just have to change out 3 skills which will be another fun thing to try out. Update 33 is awesome and is making ESO super fun again for me.
Just started leveling a stamplar, planning to have some magicka abilities as well, perfect timing! Been enjoying the "invincible build series," cool content!
I'm a Templar main and SO HYPED for this build! I always did Paladin in other ES games and while I am perfectly happy to do stam OR mag DPS and healing for end-game PvE content (and have the titles to prove it lol), I really wanted something fun for questing in High Isle that fit more with my usual ES style. Thanks for this!
@Zozihn Right, but with the lower skill "accessibility" one might not really be getting invited all that often for DLC trials is my point. It isn't like there is a group finder for it. DLC trials are probably the least accessible content for the average player in ESO.
I love my Templar. I'm on the Playstation network and I like videos like this because it helps me learn what I can incorporate and take out of my build. I have a spare load out in my armory I'm going to use to try this pally build. I liked and subscribed, even hit the bell 🔔 looking forward to seeing more things Templar here.
Thanks! I was struggling with decent PvE build - I´m 405 and I had to improvise with gear so far - but man, I could take down few world bosses even so!
I just realized, I have SO much left to skill up. (weapons etc). And thank you for this build, I went from like 9k dps to 15k by this build alone! You sir, are a lifesaver ! 😂
An interesting build. Though grinding for those sets will be a pain in the neck. I'll stick with my hunding's rage for now and raise my sword and shield skills. Stampede doesn't provide you with shield unless you got the gear. Though CLEAVE does provide that bonus plus a damage over time ticker on the enemy. The only flaw I see is when you meet with a ranged opponent which is few and far between. This is definitely an awesome PVE solo build with good sustain on resources and dealing with several mobs as well. If combined with the right food, you can keep that stam bar up forever. Lava-foot-soup comes to mind. Raising the needed skill will take some time, but not impossible. I'm gonna try this build on my main. Gonna try and switch it up a bit too. Will see how it turned out.
What do you think about mixing armor to get the 4-3 med/light and so you'd move some of the false gods into the jewelry/weapons to let that happen? Would help with pen/crit I would imagine.
Seems like it would be stronger to run the 2h on the back bar with an infused enchant, and then run the sword and board on the front with beast trap/fighters guild heal/extended ritual/or even inner light to boost your magicka pool a little more.
That's the strength of these videos. They give you the skills and understanding so that then you can experiment and refine it to fit your own playstyle. I often run s&b on the front of my Stamplar like you suggested, but one of Brah's strengths is his vids actually help teach those newer to the game to understand those core mechanics while also exposing tweaks that even experienced players might have missed/recently changed(so many changes this update!). Have a great day!
I would personally also drop the beam execute for ritual of retribution. Get that dot and cleanse. Jabs is strong enough that there is honestly no need for an execute soloing.
So, Brah, I'm fairly new to the game and I really like the way this build looks. As someone building a new templar from the ground up, playing for the first time... how do I build my character while levelling to end up at this point... or is there another avenue to take until I get to a certain point, then I can "respec" to this build? Sorry for the newb question.. but .. I am new, so..
Does your guild require anything to join ? I’m sorta an older generation who just enjoys pve but always get kicked from guilds because I don’t sell on the guild trader
My wife is looking for a solo templar build, what would you recommend ? we are both new players more or less, I have mostly only done crafting hehe and unlocked most sets that I can craft. She would love using the fire staff and going magicka. Any tips? what should I craft or she hunt for gear wise etc etc PS she wants to start going for a one bar build.
Hexos Ward is a medium armour set and False God's Devotion is Light. 😺 Brah is using all FalseG(Light) on the body for the great damage passives, with Hexos jewelry+weapons. This pattern (1 set body, other set jewelry/weapons) is often used in builds, as it completes both sets (the 5th set piece has the biggest bonus). Once you get confident in your experience, of course you can (and should!) start experimenting to fit your playstyle. Good luck and welcome to ESO!
Lastly, that is just the end (50/160) set. On your way to that, you can build experience in all the different armour classes, and I would encourage each character to do that (I just mix-and-match whatever armour I pick up before level 30, because none of it is going to matter long-term - at best you are just adding to your collections and tearing it apart for crafting experience or selling for gold. Hope this helps!
They buffed up Templar, gave Biting Jabs, already an insane skill, with Maj Brut+Sorc??? Geez, the lack of those skills was the only thing that kept them human(oid). As always, a great video done at a reasonable pace to let us understand not just the mechanic but the reasons behind it (Unlike the many build videos out there that just blitz through a build). Great job and thank you! 👍🙌👍
I’ve been only playing the game for a handful of months now and I have to be completely honest that I’m getting a little tired of hearing about Templar/Paladin this and Templar that. Solo the game and be a god!!! Makes everyone else with something different feel like we should just delete all our characters and make one immediately because everything else is clearly inferior. One class shouldn’t be this overpowering…
To all new templar players:. Ignore this video and forge your own path. There is nothing "paladin" or "invincible" about this boring generic templar build.
If you take the title literally thats a bit naïve. This is a good template and have given me suggestions on my way as a forge my own build. I never saw this video as something I had to do to be invicible. Im hard pressed that others are either. In terms of paladin flavor which is what I play, thats most just snb and 2H. So this does fit. It being boring is your personal opinion and not a fact. Different players like different things. Respect that.
@Clint:The fact that you're trying to impose your own (unhelpful) view speaks solely to your own arrogance. Experienced players all know to take what they wish out of build videos. But for those newer to the game, this is a good, solid build to give them an understanding of the class and the skills, as we have come to know from Dottz. I still watch them to see if there's any useful tidbits I may have missed...more education is never a bad thing. You didn't offer any constructive suggestions to improve anything. If you know so much, why are you here in the first place, watching other people's build videos and posting inane comments? Post your own vid, and we'll see how much we like it... ...or are you afraid of comments like the the one you just posted?
Thanks for watching! Check out all my solo builds in the channel! More builds will come!
I will be switching my magplar to your paladin setup!

Same here

Always love the "accessible" descriptions people make about their builds while with a straight face saying you need a DLC trial set for it.
Accessible, in this case (and most cases, especially Oakensoul) refer to physical/mental accessibility. Not $.

Way late to this party, but pumped for this build on my very first time in ESO! Appreciated, brother
I just made a Templar and was saving them for the event to level up with the 2x exp this is perfect . Gonna be my third character
Good timing I have been searching for days for a new current solo stamplar! Tysm

They just released the Chrysmere cosmetic too. Would look super cool on a Paladin build.
I'm not a trial person. I used Spell Parasite in place of False God's and the build still works fine.
W video, gonna try this build out for my next character

Is there a link to the breakdown that I'm missing for the details that were glossed over?
Thank you for adding the role playing element to the build and not making it a standard cookie cutter dual wield/bow build.
An interesting build. Though grinding for those sets will be a pain in the neck.

Hey, I'm completely new to the game, so what armor do I wear when lvln, I didn't quite understand it? Light, medium or heavy? ^^
Same, but I think all light except shoulders and head, those should be medium. At least that's what I gathered.

To get hexos ward to I just do quests in deadlands or do I have to fight zone boss? I'm trying to put this together
Love yo try this, just curious what type of armor should Hexos be on this build, light medium or heavy? Or a combination?
but can it do Veteran Vateshran Hollows?
I'm probably gonna get eso next time I get paid, and I think I may run this build!
What kind of outfit is this? I mean the image or appearance at 1:43-1:50
What motif's you use on your outfit ? It looks sweet
This is my favorite build in ESO by far. Is there any update for new content or is this pretty much it? Thanks,

No we have a beginner and endgame one ;)

will do
Hey Adam, so would a lot of this build also work on a Templar Wood Elf perhaps?
Or is all going to be completely different?
Since its a hybrid build that should be viable

Hey, thanks for the vid, is this still viable today?
what happens when an Invincible Paladin meets an Invincible Nightblade?
Is this an 'Unstoppable Force meets an Immoveable Object' argument? 😸

Is there an alternative to the caltrops? I really hate that for the flavor of the character. That's a rogue move in my mind.
puncture maybe

is this outdated? i cant find julianos armor
that build solo trials?
I play the role of "healer" in my group is this good for that?
You need to go mag and not stam for healer - you’ll be using a lot of resto staff skills which all use magicka.

I would like to see a "Paladin Build" that doesn't use Jabs, so it actually would be a Paladin from a fantasy stand point.
Seeing the old jabs animation feels weird
Interesting 🤓
this build is alright but you are not showing what you start with going though the level what you should be doing begin of the game
This is not a Paladin build. This is a baddass Templar build, but there is a lot of parts to this build that a Paladin would never be associated with.
