I love this adventure. My favorite tiny painting is the one with the little lost lamb. I'm so glad you included him and I hope he found his mom. Such a fun video and so great to see your art van in action.
Leslie thank you so much for sharing your painting journeys. From your previous ‘van setup’ video it was clear you’ve had/have some health challenges. It was so wonderful to hear the delight in your voice about your new van and now to see you off painting in it with your puppy. Your work gives us a lot of joy and inspiration, and I hope the calming joy you talked about in this video is there every time you take the van out. And yes, I agree, the two paintings from the van have a different feel. Very glad those gorgeous sheep appeared at just the right time! 🙏
I love plein air painting, so the art van is great because I can get out in any weather and even if I’m feeling poorly. Autoimmune diseases are a challenge, but this definitely helps! But I also think every artist, heathy or not, should have a pleinairmobile! 😅🚙🚐
I loved the tiny painting before but the van is right up my ally too. In California this kind of camper is a day camper. Surfers and hikers use this idea a lot. This gives you some nice options for weather. Van life and Day Camping are different ideas. Day Camping is more like explore California with amenities but make it home for bed time. 😃 Day trips, day camping very much the same idea. Very chill. Really enjoyed this.
Cette vidéo et la sérénité qui s’en dégage sont un baume pour l’âme. Je vous admire et vous suis pour vos œuvres, bien évidemment, mais aussi pour la personne que vous êtes. 🌸🌺🌼🙋🏻♀️
It's the magical painting studio on wheels! Thank you for taking us along and congratulations on your paint studio on wheels! Watching your videos of the English countryside, I am more convinced that this is where I'd like to retire to when I am ready and explore nature and find places to paint! Even Poppy knows it's so peaceful and magical! Looking forward to seeing more painting adventures with you both!
@@LeslieStroz So glad you found your private oasis! I was so happy for you when I saw your video introducing your van and am living vicariously through you. You should name it!
Why is this the most entertaining video I’ve watched in a while 😮🤩🤗I don’t usually stay entertained by a video for more than 15 minutes, but I matched all 30 minutes of this video with full adornment and entertainment 😊Ty for inspiring me to paint ❤
Very jealous of your pleinair mobile! A great way to get about and still paint in comfort. Love the paintings, but my favourite is the rectangular one. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Leslie this was such a beautiful video and I loved all 3 sketches but my fav one was the greenhouse since I have one myself and love seeing sketches of them. I’m originally from the UK but live in the US now and really miss the beautiful drives out along the narrow country roads where you can pull over and wander through the moors so this was a gift to watch this whole video. P.S you are already costing me a small fortune as so far I’ve purchased 3 of the different palettes you’ve shown and received 2 so far and love them…..many thanks for your inspiring videos! ♥️🎨🍃
You’ve made me so nostalgic for Devon; it really is a blessed county. I’m so happy your painting wagon is working out so wonderfully for you. Delicious freedom!
Watching your little films is as good as therapy. Thanks to you I now possess a tiny 8 colour Go Draw wooden palette, a water brush and a few small watercolour books to fill. I love all three of your paintings here but my favourite is the estuary view I think. It’s been interesting to see the development of the art van, it looks so cosy and comfortable, well done you 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing Poppy with us, truly such a polite and inoffensive little friend. I must go now and try a little tiny painting, you’ve inspired me again! 🙂
Thank you for you and Poppy tagging us along in your perfect art van. All three of the paintings are really pretty. I love the little lost lamb especially and I can't wait to watch more art van adventures.
I love them all thank you so much for sharing your Poppy darling doggie is adorable and I love your relationship I have an adorable cat he's more like a puppy! What beautiful scenery Leslie I'm so glad things are working out beautifully painting in your gorgeous van and I'm totally loving the videos ❤😊
Thanks for taking me with you on your journey. I felt like I was being there with you. Your videos are magnificent. Your voice makes me feel calm but excited for your paintings. Again thank you.
So relaxing. Thank you! 🤗 I like the baby sheep painting the most. He sounded so cute. Poppy is too cute too. 🖤🤍 What a great place...away from the grind, the noise, just so peaceful. 💚
❤❤❤ your videos ! So inspiring ❣️ I’m 74 and I’ve been teaching art at high school level for 34 years, here in Québec 🇨🇦. My retirement is my playtime…I paint (oil). But this fall, I plan to follow your example with tiny watercolours inside and outdoors around my house. Merci beaucoup ❣️😊
❤❤❤thank you for this one!! We were in Dartmoor NP on our holiday this past spring and I totally fell in love with it! The ponies were everywhere, the weather changed three times and the birds and scenery made me want to go back again and again. I am super envious of where you live. The UK is such a beautiful place! History in every step. Thank you for all of your videos.
Those stones are amazing! I also go painting in my campervan, might get over there and see them sometime with my little dog, and my art supplies. Your vids are perfect for me, inspiration 😅for my travels thanks Toni....
Very hard to make a choice. All three are beautiful. I know you said it is not your favorite, but I do love the one of your green house too and I think the slightly more vibrant colour suit it.
What a lovely video! My favourite painting was the one of the Teign estuary - partly because I know and love that spot so well, partly because I just love water, and partly I prefer the composition and colouring. Plus I do like seeing 'portrait' landscape pictures, as I think the different format makes you stop and think a bit more. Love seeing Poppy snuggling up in the van looking so content while you paint.
What a superb video this is. It had great advice, adventure, stunning atmosphere, and gorgeous artwork. I loved them all, but the little lamb on those gorgeous moors was my favourite. Thank you so much Leslie.😊
How appropriate that the first time we see you painting in your van, it’s raining! I love that! I hope that lamb found his mum! As a completely separate side note… even as an English person, I think our pronunciation is strange! We pronounce Teignmouth as “tin-muth” and yet we pronounce the river Teign as “tain”. I wonder why! Hahaha
I know, right? It took me awhile to get used to that one! 😅 The best part about the rain was that it was exciting to paint in it from the van. When I used to paint in my car it was cozy, but much more restrictive! 😊
I so enjoyed tagging along w/ you and sweetie pie Poppy in your new art van! All 3 paintings were so beautiful! I especially loved the 1st one with the lost little lamb. I wanted to give him a big hug! Great idea using that blanket to make a privacy curtain. Looking forward to your guys's next adventure! 😊
You always visit and share such stunning places with us! The moors…wow! I could just feel the fresh air! I love all three paintings as they all have a story to tell. Each is unique in its own way! The way the young sheep made its way into the painting….I love your greenhouse…the weather here destroyed our small greenhouse here this year…so we have rebuilt it and are slowly turning it into my art studio…😊…and the last painting of all the fields and estuary…what a perfect composition! Your painting companion is pretty special too. So glad you got all successfully done! Thank you again for sharing.😊
Thanks for watching! Our old greenhouse also fell apart, so it’s nice to have a “fresh” one! I hope you have fun converting yours into the perfect studio. 🎨🖌️

I just found you! This was so lovely to watch! I've never seen the moors. Breathtaking, especially when the random animals showed up. Painting from the comfort of the car, such a great idea! Poppy so cute, and wonderful companion to have with you as you paint. Finally, I also enjoy the tiny paintings. I have done them, as well, they are satisfying! Peace!
I loved this! I’m a huge fan of the Bronte Sisters. This was wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks for taking us with you, it filled my heart with joy!
I love my van for travel too. So delightful to be at home and not at that same time. Thank you for your channel. I might actually dare put pencil to paper instead of fretting over them.
Thank you for this video. It was so inspiring and relaxing. It makes me want to try to make my SUV more comfortable for painting. Your paintings were wonderful!

This was lovely! I truly enjoyed watching this and was a wonderful break on a very hot day, doing so! My favourite is the first one with the adorable little lamb. I hope he wasn't lost!
I think he was separated from his mother, but wisely following the others (who would eventually lead him back). The sheep roam freely, but are tended by a shepherd who I’m sure looks out for them all. It was heartbreaking though!
@@LeslieStroz so it's the same as here in Romania. I have a family country house nestled among hills and we often see the sheep and cows roaming around in their own pace. Your video reminded me of simpler summers at grandma's 🤗
Thank you sharing your travel and your art. What a wonderful way to start the week off. My favorite has to be the little lamb as I used to raise sheep and have great memories of the lambs in spring in the pasture. I had to make tough decisions about my Patreon memberships last week but there was never any doubt about continuing my membership to your channel.

Such a relaxing video to watch; I watched the first half during my lunch break and finished it after dinner this evening 😊. Although I loved all 3 locations and paintings, I think the last might be my favourite. The view of the fields and the water…gorgeous!
Thanks so much for watching the whole video! In instalments, no less! The moors were magical, but yes, if I could bottle the feeling of the breeze as I painted the estuary I’d breathe a bit every day. Bliss! ❤
I lived not far from there. How funny to know exactly the locations where you were painting (except your greenhouse of course: that would be weird!). I think the lamb may be a ‘she’ tho, as male lambs tend to end up on a plate pretty quickly. Lovely paintings, thank you.
Thank you for all your creativity and making such lovely videos. Really enjoyed the walk on the moors. I liked the greenhouse best and particularly the light effect. Sorry you had to suffer for it.
I love that you show your van set up. I've been wondering how would do something similar way over here in North Dakota -- especially in the brutal winter where I like to photograph the small blizzard-swept towns. You have given me some great ideas, thanks for making this.
Thank you for sharing. Always a joy watching you create. Getting stung is the reason why I haven't worn skirts or dresses in years. I've been stung too many times. A honey bee can sting physically only once but a yellow jacket, wasp, or hornet can sting you multiple times and when that happens to you those experiences make you not want to experience that again for the rest of your life. 😩
I think an adorable pupper is a 'must have' art supply. Thank you for posting :). I enjoyed tagging along!

I hear you! It didn't help that I was sitting over a patch of clover on the lawn!
