Thanks for the post and this mic works great with the Smart Controller you're using with the Mini 3 Pro (DJI-RC). You can pop the receiver into the USB-C under the gray flap, turn on the mic, start a screen recording and have fun flying and commenting. The file on the controller will have both the audio and video in a single file. I appreciate your support!

Do you think the mic set up will also help add audio to a Mini 4 Pro flown with RC2? How about when I live stream from the Mini 4 Pro to UA-cam via the RC2, where there’s no audio, would this mic add audio to the live stream? (I know Mini 4 Pro has no propeller noice cancellation.)
We designed the kit to add audio to the video you're recording on the RC2 controller with a screen recording. When you start flying, start a screen recording with the mic connected and the file on the controller will include the video and audio combined. I haven't tested it with a live stream but since that is handled by the controller, it should work as well. I hope that helps and thanks for your support!
Can you try bluetooth wireless to Cellphone using DJI Mic 2 Transmitter only while USB of cellphone to RC- 3-NE please......I am going to order the RC-3-NE next month. The DJI Fly app states wireless microphone or internal microphone....for recording. Thanks.

Currently it won't work with the RC-N2/N3 (the one without the screen) ut works great when you're flying with your phone or the RC2 Smart Controller. We're working on the RC-N3 but it's really a tricky issue to sort out.

If I understand you correctly, this product is like the Mic2, but doesn’t have Bluetooth to a smartphone like the Mic2….but the receiver is needed for both the smartphone or the RC2 controller. I have a Neo and RC2, and your price is right….. BUT, I was under the impression that the RC2 does NOT support external microphones directly for audio recording, so can you clear up my confusion???
Thanks for the post and it's a paired set of mic and receiver that is using an isolated connection between the two. Even though it rides on the Bluetooth tech, it can be directly paired to a phone without the receiver. We designed and released this unit a year or so ago to specifically work with the DJI Smart Controllers and it was tricky to get one that would produce audio. When you use this with your phone, you can just record as normal. When you use it with the RC2, you can start a screen recording and the audio is combined with the video on the controller. I can't wait to be the proud owner of one of these Neo drones. It really makes me feel depressed and scared that we might not be able to buy any dji drones in America after next year. I keep hearing things about them getting banned in America. Which is really really sad.
Don't sweat the "ban", it's a lot of noise about nothing. Basically, Skydio and others want to secure all of the government contracts and have convinced some less informed representative in Congress that China is using the drones for spying. It's all nonsense and I'm sure that nothing will come of it. The DJI Neo is a great drone and a ton of fun to fly. I hope you enjoy yours when it arrives.

U didn’t show how u connect the mic to the app, if there is no RC. N also show the settings etc,. Also would be nice if u show what settings u used to record the video like directional tracking etc,.
Thanks for the post but you'll need the receiver to use the mic. They are a pair that is synced over Bluetooth and you can't connect the mic to your phone directly. We designed this kit to be easy to use and all you need to do is power on the mic, attach the receiver and start talking. I hope that helps.

That means the RC2 is transmitting the audio to the drone for recording in real time to be paired and be in sync with the drone video, correct? If that's the case, that's really clever with the noise cancelling in the mic and drone. I'm wondering why the mic needs noise cancelling if the drone has that built in? Are you saying your wireless mic noise cancellation doesn't filter out the prop noise enough by itself? You didn't mention the price, product name, or how to order.

I still have your LAST wireless mic which DOES work with the original DJI RC. I use it all the time.

Click on where is says “more” on the video and that will open a link where you can order the mic. I just ordered one for myself.
