If you had to buy another which photobooth would you buy now, Im looking for enclosed booth that has monitor outside so people can see other photos while they are waiting. Also is DNP printer the best, darkroom 2 software, canon t5 camera.

Awesome video and interview always interesting to see how guys do this. My only thing with getting a photobooth is I think you would need an assitant to run it. i like the idea of the portable one you bought.Not sure of photobooths will be abit of a fad like karoke booths were
Yeah most likely. We make it a family affair. My kid runs my booth. Makes her great cash & keeps her out of McDonalds when she could be studying. A friend of mine is getting his wife involved, or rather she is getting involved & getting a photo booth. As far as "fad" goes, that's speculation. DJing could be a fad. Thing is, I see photo booths at most of my gigs. It's a lot of fun & still novel to loads of people
Oh my God, the guy i got the booth from totally screwed me. he gave me the used sony printer and then two months later they stopped selling the film, much to my dismay. The camera was used and i ended up having to buy a new camera, new printer and the thing is falling apart. it is just like the white one you have there, and he was a dj guy too. I have basically had to rebuy everything, but dont know how to fix the setup. i am trying to learn.

Thermal ribbon printers such as DNP are fast and cheap to maintain but there print quality and gloss is poor compared to inkjets. When using inkjets you need a minimum of two printers.
yes, this is an excellent printer to buy. Good quality prints, does 4x6 or 2x6 strips and cuts them, but the best part is you get 700 prints from 1 roll of film/paper which means you will prob get 4+ parties from each roll and there are 2 rolls in a box so it keeps your cost down. A box is apx $180= 1400 prints= 12.9 cents per print so if you print 175 pics at a 4 hour event your cost is less than $23 dollars. Also shop around b/c there are companies that offer free shipping, and find a company out of state and then there is no tax!

The pictures are not fantastic but that doesn't mean they are bad. However; I've seen a better. The problem is the small flash box that is also square on to the subject. In general this casts harder shadows than larger soft boxes and the angle tends to produce 'flat' images.
These are the store brand of photobooths. They are not the Coca-Cola high name brand thus they look generic and basic. Companies like Shutterbooth have better presentation and cleaner looks but you'll pay more .

Well thanks for essentially telling us nothing. Your comment don't think like a DJ WTF to be a DJ/MC at an event is an actual skill unlike putting up a photo booth i know because i do all three at the same time and the photo booth is a no brainier, as far as what i charge for my photo booth i charge what it is worth which is less than half what photo booth only company's in my area charge because lets face it they are a rip off like you. The gig is up time for the professionals to take over.
