Very nicely explained. As a 2020 e-Power owner I now fully comprehend its workings due to your brilliant tutorial! Keep up the excellent work! T'dad & T'bgo are the luckier for having a technician like yourself Jose! 👏👏👏
Thanks a lot Adrian 🙏
How has it been for you all round?
This is great content. May I humbly suggest: when you shoot video in portrait mode, the video only uses 1/3 of my laptop screen. No way to zoom in closer with youtube on a browser. So please, please shoot video in landscape mode when possible. That lets phone users and computer users get the most out of their displays. Thank you.
awesome video mate, clear and concise! i love it. the gear reduction case looks pretty easy to replace parts based of your video, very cool!
Excelente video, lastima que el video esta en inglés, tendré que meter mano con el idioma, pero eres un excelente profesional en tu área, felicidades,. En el caribe hay pocos técnicos como tu.
I own a 2017 model and i must say you are the ace i needed to get things well. Thanks
Excellent content, Jose is a gem. Protect him at all costs.
GRACIAS MAESTRO GRAN VIDEO COMO TODOS LOS QUE TU NOS COMPARTES SALUDOS Y GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR TU CONOCIMIENTO 👍👍
De nada amigo charly… gracias por seguirnos
Thanks man, your videos are always great.
Solid video bro
Thanks a lot my friend
Thank you perfect explanation! But I expected it would be more simple transmission with a couple of gears in it. Now I see from your video that it has 2 reductors in one single box with same transmission oil! Thanks!
Interesting video.
Glad you enjoyed it
❤❤❤ love you work!
Awesome video mate loving the content covered here and well explained!
Great video. I’m more of a Toyota guy, but it’s cool to see how different manufacturers do things differently.
I’d love to see you tear down a Toyota hybrid transmission similarly.
That video is coming next week 👋😎😎🚨🚨🚨
That is a fantastic explanation thank you can I ask what the actual car model is that transmission l from?
I am considering getting a Nissan Nismo Note e-power.
Excellent explanation, exactly the information I was looking for, thank you.
Great Content! Appreciate You Sharing Your Knowledge and Building Up The Automotive Industry.
Good day. Could you make a video on comparing how the AC works in a regular ICE car vs the one in Nissan e-power? Thanks.
@@TakingShapeCreations agree!
Great video. Based on your experience which one between Nissan epower cars and Toyota Hybrid cars are more reliable and has less cost to maintin?
I would say Nissan solve many issues to focus on reliability now
Awesome video-Thanks! I got an Xtrail T33 e4orce. It seems that everytime on start up there is a weird cranking noise from one of the generators that is trying to put extra juice on the battery and maybe warm up the engine. The weird noise has been reported by many epower Xtrail owners. Can you make a video on this? NISSAN claims is std behaviour for this type of engine.
Send me a DM via instagram... onteresting case
Very great video, explained the screws of it too.... Can you please alsoputh some light on whether the car will be able to perform good in uphil areas? climbing steep hills with loaded...
Loved your video, i own a 2023 xtrail e-Power eforce, it was never clear to me what is under the hood(technically speaking), because when you drive it its feels very different, seeing promoting e-Power videos does not explain when your are looking for more in depth stuff, the inner workings as you just did.
Your video is very enlightening and solve a lot of question i have, but now i have some more. :)
What is the 12v battery in the trunk even for? small voltage app's? some lights and etc? how the car charge the 12v battery? dc/dc converter? because i dont see any typical 12v alternator.
How about the parking feature vs. electric handbrake? In Europe usually we have manual transmission. The parking gear lock is also somewhat new.
Also notice the car drain's battery in cold morning to heat up internally, at least is my ideia.
The AC compressor i already see in another video from you that is HV/full electric.
Keep up the good work. ;)
The usual 12v battery governs the radio, lights, sat Nav etc. The EV bty is all about the wheels & if that bty malfunctions you can still use the 12v for it's electrical appliances. I presume this but our guru will know answer, if he done so that is.
Thank you. Very nice explanation
Just to be very sure... Are all e power this type of drive system? We have had bad experience with cvt transmission in our Toyota aqua* ex japan inport. However nissan epower seems like a very nice and simple solution to hybrid drive. Are all years basically the same? Thank you very much for your amazing content!
Excellent content. Thanks a lot 👍
Thanks for your video
Honda works exactly the same, adding a clutch than connects engine to wheels in certain conditions (when it is more efficient)
Excellent 🎉🎉
Hi Jose
Love your work. Do you know what is the service interval on paper for the E13 Nissan note?
Is it every 10000kms or 15000kms for engine servicing.
What about the transmission fluid?
Which hybrid here is the same as the Renault Austral where the engine & the electric motor both drive the wheels but not at the same time. The computer gubbins selects it. Compared to e-Power it is complicated more so? Great explanation. I collect my e-Power tmmrw. Excited.
Had a greater appreciation from your illustration. Wont it be stressful for e electric motor to crank / drive the differential since its connected to a smaller gear.
Great video
Thanks Robert 👋😎✅✅✅
Please tell me in Nissan kicks e power quantity of transmission fluid? Can we use matic S fluid?
So generator number 1 also acts as a starter for ICE?
Hey do you have any videos on e-power system failure?
very good, can you make a teardown of rex extender of bmw i3 specialy about its generator, because in all internet not one have gone in detail like you do, because a friend have problem with his rex no voltage outpout to charge the battery, he do not know how even to deassembly the rex to check the alternator thanks in advance
Does the e powered Nissan Serena 2024 with this type of technology experience overheating problems?
@@jeffreyjackman7053 too new yet to know for sure…
What are benefits with e-power ?
Watch the video and see for yourself...
@@hybridsolutiondiagnostics i do, but the prius hybrid system seems better.
Dont understand why there is no mechanical connection ....ice is just a generator....
@@TheRomo187I don’t disagree with what you said, but there may be some benefits of Nissan doing it like they did. Instead of comparing it to a Prius, compare it to a Tesla with an onboard generator.
Great Video Explanation - I have a 2017 E-Power Note that wont start up, Any Diagnostic Steps you can suggest. Only Fault code is U1000 -Thanks in advance Anthony
Good
Shortly, E-power seems to be more powerfull than ECVT. Just an electric vehicle without the need to plug in.
It is simply the future
No doubt these technology is amazing
Is it possible to double the capacity of the battery and then tell the engine to *only* ever run at maximum efficiency? Would this make the car run much more efficiently?
That's actually how it works normally. The capacity is designed to be suitable for that purpose already.
wow hats off to you man!
Hi Jose
I’m from Guyana. I have a 2014 Honda Vezel Hybrid which indicate
that the transmission temperature is high (note: the message was displayed once).
Can you please advice what may be the possible issue(s) and solution??
Thanks in advance.
Recalibrate clutch first 🫡✅
Thanks for the info
Please make a video on how engine braking works in Nissan note epower. 🤔
He doesn’t know. If he did he would know he took apart a reduction gear. The name kind of explains better than he does.r
🎉🎉🎉
☝️😎✅✅
Hello i have questions for you please. This esvt transmission never go out.
padahal keren bgt sistem seperti ini, mempermudah dari sisi produksi dan pengembangan, tetapi kenapa kurang populer ya?
To me the main downside of Nissan cars is CVT but this eliminates it, so the reliability should be much better. Regenerative breaking should also save brakes. I have a feeling that this will be very popular.
Can e-power tech be swapped into other non-hybrid cars?
Все верно😊😊😊
Thank you 🙏
Very cool! I wish they sold these cars in the US. Why don't they?
so it means that this kind of transmission is more reliable?
It’s not a trans it’s a reduction gear this guy just a pretender
They say that this gearbox used for E-power is chronically defective, is it true?
You should understand that e-power has no gearbox just like an EV does not have gearbox.
Hi can help me fix my 2010 Fiat Bravo2 198 selespeed 6 semi automatic gearbox problems?🙏🏽
It was cool 😎
Can someone pls confirm is the transaxel in Note e-Power 2017 is same or similar.
The very same 👍👍👍✅✅✅
Make same video for kia niro hybrid
Well e-power its a parallel hybrid)
So motor-generator-1 its just a generator?
A motor as well 😎😎💡💡
Right, motor mode when he works like a starter.
It's not a parallel hybrid though. Nissan said it's a series hybrid.
@@gregrodrigueziii8075 точно. Я ошибся. Это действительно последовательный гибрид.
Can it work without battery
Not at all
It can't go anywhere without the petrol
Engine either
Why the combustion engine is big? I think for e-power technology, the combustion engine size is only like on a motorbike, about less than 500cc
500cc weak engine running on full capacity is less efficient then a 1200 cc engine running on almost idle or low revs and only kick in more power when desired on higher loads highways speeds on inclines.
All "CVT" in modern hybrid are not CVT and work like this sistem.
😂😂😂😂boom booom
The bearing just needs for service
very similar to honda e-cvt
That i was trying to figure out if they have got rid of this piece of s#$t called CVT
Spare parts like betry very much xpensive in africa
No matter how you try to give this a pretty face, this is very much anICE vehicle, it goes nowhere without the 1500cc petrol engine running, with what I am told is a 6 litres per 100 mile consumption, the petrol engine still requires all of the servicing any other petrol engine requires, so all you have achieved is throwing the two modes together, so it's twice as needy as it needs to be
SCANNERDANNER WAS RIGHT ABOUT Hybrid Solution Diagnostics
