Welcome to Duel Links F2P, where I upload the best cheap / budget free to play decklists in yugioh duel links. I generally build decks with a low cost to be as beginner friendly as possible. Since this is kinda outdated I'm gonna list here my order (WIP)
2 Photon Galaxy
1 PoR
2 Heart
This will give: Full Power Photon Galaxy eyes (with more options in Tachyon), Cipher deck and Galaxy monsters. Level up Kite and Mizar to get good support for the archetypes and get more cards for them (some of Kite's cards aren't really useful compared to Mizar cards but still are part of the archetype)
Also getting support for the following (support is NOT an workable deck, meaning you need to find the core of some decks in other boxes):
- Phantom Knights: powerful Dark XYZs, with a lot of support in other boxes. To increase their power, level up Yuto so you both get archetype skills and more cards.
- Onomat: pretty much an Yuma deck. I hate the deck for dumb reasons (Zubaba, Gogogo? Really?). Yuma has a lot of cards and skills to increase its power but Onomat and Utopia archetype sinergize really well.
- Infinitrack: seems kinda random to get these but they can combo really well with Gadgets to bring incredible XYZs in any turn, but Gadgets are kinda expensive to get from Dark Dimension. Regardless, they are EARTH Machine archetypes and both EARTH attribute and Machine Type has lots of useful techs.

About spending the UR dream ticket(s):
I disagree on using that only on "Forbidden Lance", since the first UR card you should pick up is "Galaxy Cyclon" because it is SEARCHABLE by your Skill and thus more constitently prevents spell/trap interruption of your beginning Photon Deck's combos.

I disagree with this based on current meta and statistics. (I have a playset of each and have played both styles) reason number one the top meta deck right now is rose dragon synchro and its bread and butter spell card basal rose shoot let's them summon a monster after being destroyed while set then they can activate a second copy and revive an additional monster in the same turn. Also using that example further I now get into reason two statistics let's say they have two basal rose shoot and a book of moon back row. (3 backrow set is not uncommon for them) that means with galaxy cyclone you have about 33% chance to.snipe book of moon and secure your combo. If you had lance its a 100% chance to combo because you don't have to play the chance game you simply chain it to their book of moon and make your plays.
Cyclone isn't a good pick. You want to use your ur tickets on staples instead of a card for an archetype

in the latest selection mini box is covered all photon galaxy and phantom of rebellion which is nice, if u got galaxy eyes and galaxy eye cliper dragon, u can instantly go to heart of xyz to make full funtional galaxy deck with less gem spending

I went into the Heart of Xyz box for the first time. And the first two SR cards I pulled in 12 packs are Galaxy Wizard and Galaxy Expedition. Needless to say, I immediately reseted the box.

Honestly this route is really F2P and Newby friendly
No such thing in Duel Links but it better than the alternatives
It's a weak way of playing. Bad players hide behind this deck

I had 9999 gems and i wasn’t sure which packs to invest in thanks to your videos I chose the photon route a week ago and i almost completed my deck and I’m happy with my choice

I'm not a new comer but just love Photon deck and do dig this route, seeing it being pretty great for F2P please my F2P blood.
I have a little question I have all the cards already like nine copies of each card pretty much, so what do I do now?
Hi I may be late but if you don't wanna assemble the entire deck, just go to editor,
search for the deck you wanna build,
put like 3 cards of it (like put random Photon cards) and hit auto build deck.
For "consistency", leave at 20 cards.
You should have an deck of the archetype you wanted, but feel free to correct stuff, the Builder AI sometimes fk things up
As for the 9 cards each( damn) you can go to Card Catalog, select Batch Convert and use Convert by Name then select what you want there.
It will only give you f2p resources but hey better than 6 leftover cards you ain't using

I would say that for ur tickets cards, shuffle reborn is also a good choice.
Maybe but using a dream ticket on a card that only works in a specific archetype is a little iffy because the deck will be nerfed or power crept before long. Using your dream tickets on staples saves you more gems in the long-run because you can use them throughout many format changes.
Only risk is potential nerf in upcoming banlist. Not only is it strong meta deck, it’s also popular and sometimes that alone warrants hits (BE,DM...)
There is also kinda “cheat” for galaxy stuff if you’re only interested in it from these boxes, you can reroll latest selection box mini for gepd and cipher xyz, maybe even shuffle reborn.
Is make sense for them to nerf galaxy deck,cause they are broken,able to steal monster and destroy cards etc in 1 turn is too much

I just got one of my friends into the game and I’m basically gonna send him down this route (just swap phantom of rebellion and heart of xyz’s order and yee)
Plus if you mix the Galaxy Eyes XYZ monsters with the existing Blue-Eyes support you're actually closer to the kind of Blue-Eyes deck you might see at a locals

Am I doing something wrong? I tried using my tickets to get reccomendations for my first xyz deck but they never appear.
I already have the old Photon deck, built Tellars and then built Galaxy when the mini came out. I haven't considered playing PK and BA so I used my expiring gems to buy packs from Max Gustav, to get Nekroz support.
I know this video is kinda old but for the photon of galaxy box, if i have all the good ur and sr, should i reroll it and start my second buying, or should I wait until I buy every boosters of the box ?
I still prefer the old consistency skill for Photons above the new one. Doesnt have as much high power but it makes ranked and KC Cups very quick and easy.

They're good but you only need to buy 1 box to play them so no route recommendation for them.

Galaxy photon p**sy!! The deck for weak players finally came. Instead of dueling they'll keep using spells and xyzing til 4 cards is destroyed then they'll get to atleast 4k atk.

Buying a ex structure 2x on sale time and 1x with 1k gems is the only way u can't be 100℅ f2p it'll take many months to complete a deck if don't plan on buying an ex structure 2x like blue eyes or dark magician don't play duel links
Really boring and uninteractive deck that is solely being carried by a completely broken skill that if nerfed will make you cry for the wasted gems. Hard pass. Prime example why modern yugioh isn't fun anymore.
Because set one pass is fkn prime example of thrilling gameplay.
