Enjoyed the insight into your day. Quite the modern operation. You have me wanting one of those camera systems to monitor the cows. Keep up the good work.
Great video, nice to see what your day pans out like. Farming is bloody hard work as I know, had 30 years doing it. Keep those videos coming, you are doing as good a job as George did.
Great video John you never think of the office hours you do as well as out on the yard, field and road. It would be great to show how you prepare for calves arrival.
Nice video. So many of us just do not know what actually goes on in the farming world, only ever just see what is infront of you or in the fields when driving along, thinking "what a great way of life", and I know it is that, but we forget the hard work, the "behind the scenes", the all night vigilance and the early starts in freezing conditions. I think I would have loved to be involved in a farm when I was able to work. All I can do now is just drive, arthritis and cancer has stopped me doing anything physical, and nobody wants "just a driver" these days. Your videos are becoming easier to you I think and you are taking to it very well. Best wishes from Ireland.
Thanks for sharing your morning with us John it was really interesting to see the office side of things. I'm really enjoying your videos and can't wait to see more.
Wouldnt it be an idea to sheet a straw load over with a fire proof sheet to help prevent any source of fire from destoying the load, it might take longer but it would save a catastrphie..
Cracking vid John it's nice to see how busy you are, bloody phones are so handy, but it was nice without them years back. Camera wise a nice camcorder would be good for sound and picture. The 4K Panasonic with wi fi upload ( no leads ) and a mic socket if you ever want to have a collar mic that's handy. Around £500 pc world. Not the dearest but around as high as I would pay for a good camera. Channel is going well John and a thumbs up from me 👍
Hi John Thanks for making another fine production for us, I'm really liking the investment in the new camera the sounds real good now, it was worth it. A guys got to pay attention to the background sometimes to while watching you . in this video when your talking about the fiat 500, you drove past a place with an imported Versatile tractor. For your area it's probably a Robert Fernley import. He was buying them from dealers I know in our area of Manitoba and over the border in Saskatchewan . That tractor was originally built 3 hours from here in Winnipeg Manitoba The home city of the Versatile Big Roy if you know about that old beast. Take care out there, ( Insert seat belt safety campaign advert here) You're to good of a bloke to loose to a stupid road accident! See ya next time.
Thanks for the reply, I wasn't expecting you to know the owner personally. I'm glad to hear a decent guys looking after part of Canadian agricultural history over there, and you got a good club. Round here they are pretty much an old boys club, it's hard to get new younger members in with newer ideas and get those guys to listen. Our local club shows near dead now because of those stubborn old farts sadly.
Love your new channel John !!!!!! Grew up in that area. GGpa and Gpa had a good sized farm near Alconbury (Huntington) and spent summers there and all over that area. Keep the videos simple and real !! Suggestion, on road trips (although you are handsome) turn the cam out the front so we can see where you are going :) :) :)
It would be nice if you could give a talk through the choice of bales for the power plant, I find it confusing as a dairy/beef farming while it makes plenty sense to you haha
Fantastic just keeps getting better john . A busy day for you . Glad everything is sorting it's self out for you. Keep the videos coming its becoming compulsive viewing
Great video John nice to see behind the scenes of the JWB empire.I like your ring tone a real blast from the past. When are we going to meet your good lady.Looking forward to the next video.
don't worry farmer ash i don't mind . But as for the wheel press i never liked it with the box george welded on it .It was to high and made a blind spot so if DJM wants to buy it contact me and i will sell it to him
A good camera you could possibly get is a canon g7x mark 2, loads of UA-cam vloggers use them and say they have great sound and picture quality and btw great video keep up the good work mate
Badly loaded buy loader driver .I Hansen to add we did not load it we were pulling for anther out fit .They loaded heavy wet bails on near side light dry bails on the off side . And it pulled the wagon over on a roundabout .I was not a happy bunny
He did his best bless his hart . Bull shit comes naturally to me . my wife calls me honest John .Iv'e got no secrets . I talk to much . poor old George has to force it' but hes getting better .Life experiences help there is a few miles on my clock.
Great vid John , good to see you got gopro , get the boy's to try this soft ware for editing vid , you can edit alot of the back ground sounds out ,so we can hear you better , www.blackmagicdesign.com/au/products/davinciresolve this software works better than the gopro software Cheers Glynn
Some of the bails are wet and shitty on the bottom and not good enough to go to the power plant so we keep them for beading .we normally load 3 @ a time .
