Something new fans should appreciate is that "Presumed Innocent" was in the theaters when they did this sketch. They legitimately spoiled a new movie for the joke. It was and continues to be a fantastic laugh.
i saw an ad for a show called Presumed Innocent on idk apple+ maybe? and thought of this immediately, might legitimately have to watch enough to see if "and his wife killed her" applies and we can go 2/2
His one man show Hammy and the Kids was brilliant. I was lucky enough to see him perform it at the Steve Allen Theater in Los Angeles. I would have gone to every performance if I could have, even if there’d been a hundred; it was that good. Brilliant, painful, raw, and hilarious.
Do not avoooooooid the hounds of hell! Do not avoooooooid the beasts of brimstone! Do not avoooooooid the puppies... of... purgatory. You must always embrace the hellfire! Hellfire! Hellfire!
One time a marine asked me "Do you know why marines are called Devil Dogs?" and I said "um... because nobody would be afraid of them if they were called Puppies of Purgatory?". He pretended he didn't hear me.
I find Kevin especially cute as Simon. It's probably just me but cute nonetheless. Not evil, just cuteness with Kevin and Dave in this skit. Plenty of humor too of course. 😜
I got to grow up watching this show, it was unique because only one friend watched this show with me and nobody else got our jokes about it. We would call each other and yell "SAUSAGES"! He is dead now =( and this show makes me think of him, this and dragonball z.
Wouldn’t you know it, a week after I watch this, my Dad wants to show me Presumed Innocent! I had to tell him “sorry dad Kids in the Hall spoiled it for me”. I still watched it anyway but it didn’t have the impact it might have had if I went in blind.
Every time I get a Philly cheese steak that is really good, after I take that first bite, that blows my mind in a festival of flavor, I want to point to it, wide-eyed, shout out: "EVIL! PURE EVIL!!" while looking around for approval of the joke. (hehe)
I tried to think of other acts in the same, exact vein and all I could come up with was Dr. Frightenstein and Count Floyd. Is this genre uniquely Canadian, or was I just raised in Ontario? -- evil meow.

@unangelic00 the show is really good but the first thing I thought of was this skit lol
"Do not avoid the Puppies of Purgatory."
Good advice for us all.
He's full of polite Canadian spirits.
BUT EVIL SPIRITS NONETHELESS!
Kevin McDonald was the underrated genius of this show
I don't think he was THE genius. Funny, yes. Of course you always go for the Peter Torks of the world
"underrated" genius. Everyone else seemed to get the accolades they deserved. but, Kevin? not so much
Tracey Stewart Hey, he was popular in France! Are you not familiar with "Le Poopie"? (that's French for "the Poopie"...)
Funny Phil!

this cracks me up every time... you can see after he says look into the face of ultimate evil that he's doing his best not to totally lose it.
Plus, he has the most unassuming non threatening expression.
exactly
@@billstrohler that would be the joke
@@dpclerks09 Ohhhh. I met him this year after one of his shows and said how much I love that line and he recited it to me. :) Fun moment.

A perfect sketch. Hilarious 😂
Kids in the hall will always make me laugh.
One time a marine asked me "Do you know why marines are called Devil Dogs?" and I said "um... because nobody would be afraid of them if they were called Puppies of Purgatory?". He pretended he didn't hear me.
🤣🤣🤣
Evil! Evil!
Heck hounds!
Too many parcels! Ah, old school
How funny that Kevin and Dave would go on to voice characters for Disney. EVIL! EVIL!
I like that Scott Thompson also went on to voice Roboroach :D
I LOVED this show when I was in high school!! This is one of my all-time faves. LOL
He continued to look 12 until about 2 years ago, lol. Just a 12 year old with grey hair. Adorable.
And honestly the only thing that's really changed is his hairline receding.
I’d like to see Simon tear up his junk mail “in a fit of rage”.
I find Kevin especially cute as Simon. It's probably just me but cute nonetheless. Not evil, just cuteness with Kevin and Dave in this skit. Plenty of humor too of course. 😜
Reenacting this skit was the only thing I did well in high school.
***** Why are you stalking me? this is beyond creepy.

So, I definitely know what my friend and I are dressing up as for Halloween!
I never thought that Satan would be a "Golden Girls" fan.
I never had a doubt in my mind. It would be wierd if he wasnt
Honestly, now he just kind of looks like Evil Tom Hanks.
One of the funniest things I watched the whole week!
I'm ready to serve you master, aaaaaaand Satan! :D
My favorite sketch from "The Kids in the Hall"
Same. 👍
“Impolite and evil” lol.
Satan at the end is me when I found the show 'Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell'.
Dave Foley looks about twelve in this video
I love these, I cheer whenever they're on!
That’s Sir Simon to you!!! 😈
golden girls is da bomb.
Kevin's face reminds me of the martians from Mars Attacks.
AAAAAAND SATAN!
I like to imagine that Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro are just Simon and Hecubus still in character since the 90s
hellfire! hellfire! hellfire! if you haven't done so already, please call your mother.
"Oh Golden Gurls!"
Lol who would ever thought Satan is a fan of Golden Girls.
@@leonablackwell4907 Many of us are - why not him?! 😉😂

Sweet--I think this is in better quality than the other one uploaded.
Kevin is a comedy genius …
certain shows have segments that all most beg to be developed into their own programs... i feel this was one of those.
"Aaaaand SAtan."

@James 🤣
Classic
Upon looking at my hair in the mirror this morning, I've realized that my pixie haircut is definitely more on the Hecubus side.
Somehow, I don't mind.
@racinefo Dave Foley looks like he's about twelve...... period.
No Hecubus; No Checkubus.
Absolutely! Much funnier!!
Can't wait to show you..
Still funnier than anything SNL has done in the last 15 years
Ever.
Than anything snl ever did
I want a manservant
Kevin McDonald the face of evil. sure lol.
I tried to think of other acts in the same, exact vein and all I could come up with was Dr. Frightenstein and Count Floyd. Is this genre uniquely Canadian, or was I just raised in Ontario? -- evil meow.
Dr. Tongue and Bruno also from SCTV
Still fucking funny!
