It's been such a rollercoaster of emotions since 2015 as the original Kinguin lineup with Rain Fox, Maikelele, ScreaM and Dennis, the highs of winning championships like Pro Leagues and Belo Horizonte to the lows of crashing out of majors in 15th-16th. Through all of the roster changes it's been one hell of a ride following the team but I wouldn't change it for anything.
I'm a huge Spirit fan but FaZe won me over for the Grand Final even after they beat Spirit because they were such good sports about it. Karrigan and Rain didn't just say "gg ez" and call it a day. They recognized that Spirit put up one hell of a fight for a fresh roster.
Started playing and watching CSGO in Covid lockdown and was immediately a Faze fan. Was in Amsterdam and Belgium for business when the major was on and had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to the final game in Antwerp. Was the most exhilarating experience which I will never forget. Watching the videos I took still gives me goosies!! Watching this vid and seeing what happened in the background was just awesome. Counter-Strike documentaries are so beautiful. Going all the way back to 2001, they really capture what makes this esport incredible. One of the earliest from that era I can remember is called Electronic Warfare, everyone should check it out! Keep up the good work!

I can't express how happy I am for the major win. I started watching CS:GO in 2016 and fell in love with the team (mainly because of fox at the time since we're both Portuguese). I always believed we had the potential to be great, so many strong lineups, legends of the game and up-and-coming stars, raw aimers and gamesense gods, but we had never quite made it. The Boston final was probably the most heartbreaking game of CS I've ever watched, I have to admit at that point I thought we would never win a major. But we fucking did it. So many highs and so many lows, it was all worth it for that moment when I finally saw my team lift the major trophy. This is the team, these are the guys that can do it all. ropz, the koolest kid on the block, actually inhuman timing lurker god, newest addition, 100% tournament winrate, this guy can do anything. Twistzz, the beast unleashed, when the team needs someone to step up he's there, insane accuracy, one of, if not the best raw aimer in the world right now, you can never count him out of a clutch situation, Russ has an incredible energy. broky, the Latvian Laser, GuardiaN reincarnated, man of few words, so good now, and still so young, he has such a bright future. rain, rainMONSTA, The Architect, the cornerstone of FaZe, Havi is one of my favorite players of all time, has not even reached his best form, it's unreal how good he is, such resilience and belief to stay on this team and finally things are working out. And karrigan, for me he's the best caller of all time. There's no better IGL at this moment, insane gamesense, for me, he's the best of all time. Heartbreak, glories, the career worthy of a legend. Finally he fucking did it. I told my friends when he came back "give us a year and we'll win a major". They didn't believe me at the time, and perhaps I didn't believe myself either, I was always optimistic about my team but I knew it would be very difficult. And then it happened. And now whenever we talk about CS the topic always comes back to FaZe. And that's how it should be. I wish I could go to Blast in Lisbon, it would be my first in-person event, but maybe someday you guys can come back and I'll be able to support you. I admit, I haven’t been a fan of faze csgo for a long time, as I only started playing cs in the middle of the pandemic but fuck man it has been a journey. Countless roster moves, -olaf +bymas -bymas +kjaerbye, then the NewYork win and Niko and yankos’ last tourney and then +olaf, then the rebuild for this major roster started. It’s been one hell of a roller coaster and I’m glad to have been part of it. Feels good man.

He understood C9's accident and instead of immediately playing to his teams strength he went to ask his team if they would be comfortable banning a map they are good at, and play Ancient, or play to their strength and capitalize on C9's mistake. And he still argued a good case for the sake of being fair, despite Twistzz over eagerness to leave C9 high and dry on their veto mistake. Ultimately, FaZe beat C9 and went on to take the Major but it's okay as C9 just got revenge during IEM Dallas.
karrigan honestly couldnt believe he did it. very nice and telling body language there. one can feel he fulfilled a personal life goal there. also i agree with the guy that said that its the best esport. i dont play cs ( well tbh i played until cs beta 7.1 xD), but i love watching it ever since i touched the game. the chemistry in teamplay is what makes it so great for me and i love the potential for these "impossible things" ( comebacks, clutches, underdog teams making deep runs against "big dogs" asoasf). the only downside i could name is that the game is quite slow, but im a quake player, so basically any fps i can name pales in comparison to quake speed =b

I admit, I haven’t been a fan of faze csgo for a long time, as I only started playing cs in the middle of the pandemic but fuck man it has been a journey. Countless roster moves, -olaf +bymas -bymas +kjaerbye, then the NewYork win and Niko and yankos’ last tourney and then +olaf, then the rebuild for this major roster started. It’s been one hell of a roller coaster and I’m glad to have been part of it. Feels good man.

5:30 I really appreciate Karrigan here. He understood C9's accident and instead of immediately playing to his teams strength he went to ask his team if they would be comfortable banning a map they are good at, and play Ancient, or play to their strength and capitalize on C9's mistake. And he still argued a good case for the sake of being fair, despite Twistzz over eagerness to leave C9 high and dry on their veto mistake. Ultimately, FaZe beat C9 and went on to take the Major but it's okay as C9 just got revenge during IEM Dallas.
karrigan honestly couldnt believe he did it. very nice and telling body language there. one can feel he fulfilled a personal life goal there.
also i agree with the guy that said that its the best esport. i dont play cs ( well tbh i played until cs beta 7.1 xD), but i love watching it ever since i touched the game. the chemistry in teamplay is what makes it so great for me and i love the potential for these "impossible things" ( comebacks, clutches, underdog teams making deep runs against "big dogs" asoasf). the only downside i could name is that the game is quite slow, but im a quake player, so basically any fps i can name pales in comparison to quake speed =b

Man I’ve been a fan of this team since the kinguin days. This was the first CSGO event I ever attended and it was so fucking amazing witnessing this whole thing live! The atmosphere in the arena is so unreal if you think about going to an event do it!!! #FaZeUP
