A big thank you to Frog and Peach for posting all these wonderful Peter Cook videos. 'Smokers are under a lot of pressure to stop?' 'Yes, they are. They're not under much pressure to start around here.' Looks around for an ashtray. Brilliant. And of course the bit where he makes Aspel jump out of his skin.

I've said this before, but I do wish Peter would do more of these.
God he is so funny! Oh for a time machine.
Such a funny man...although some of it made its way to appreciative fans I think a lot of the Cookie magic came from his general conversation. Somehow I think it was difficult for him to distill the magic properly on the screen, but left to meander he was brilliant. He was right of course...what he really needed was a Boswell and instead he got Dudley.
