Thank you SO MUCH for these videos! I'm taking a college 'basic business math' course after being out of high school for over 10 years and my instructor assumes their content is a review for everyone and gives us very little instruction or help. You are saving me hours of frustration and overwhelm!!
I'm in college and realized that I never questioned why multiplication by fractions is the same as dividing by one of the fractions to the power of negative one. Ex: (1/2)*(2/3)=(1/2)÷(3/2) It kind of blew my mind for a second as it occurred to me out of the blue. I noticed that there is not much of an explanation of this on the internet and just commonly accepted to be true independently of each scenario. Probably should be taught how they relate lol. Only took me something like 8 years of math to notice this consciously lol.
I'm glad SOMEONE knows how to do complex fractions. 20 years ago in Algebra 2 my teacher flat out told me "The worst that'll happen if you don't know these is you'll fail this class". I shrugged it off, said I didn't care because at the time I didn't (and I still don't) and passed the class by one percentage point. I've gone back over various subjects from that class (and some other areas) and I have to own up that there's just SOMETHING about this topic that I can't grasp, even with someone showing it me.
Hi Teacher ! Thank u so much for your hard work , I want to ask you if the mathematics in Canada and the United States is the same or not ? I really appreciate if you reply and once again thank you.
it is! my physics teacher told us american math stops at our(canadians) 10th grade curriculum😭 ntm my american friends tend to do math i did years ago when we’re in the same grade, as well as usa lets u choose to do geometry or calc, etc, and canada just kind of… makes u do all of it.
Wrong...and confusing...as many of you who teach this stuff on UA-cam are. In this problem, you should not multiply everything by 5X. You should multiply everything by 5X divided by 5X (5X/5X), which is one. You must multiply the numerator expressions and the denominator expressions by 5X. You do this, but you do not show it. And thus it is confusing to people trying to learn this stuff. In other words, show your work completely. Also at the end you say, "which is also represented up there," but you do not show or tell us what you are referring to. Down thumb.

Thank you sooo much. I have an algebra 1 EOC in about 2-3 weeks. Your videos are amazing for all the concepts I don't understand.

@@Boognish64 this guy did a bad job explaining, he jumped around to much in the middle of point and then would barley touch back and sometimes didnt
Love the refresher
Amazing, thank you❤❤

I am taking an Algebra 1 EOC in a few weeks does anyone have any times that I can use for the exam?
thank you, I have the final exam tomorrow
Thanks!
When I see that bald head, I know it's going to be a great math video!
Thanks
Hy ,why did only the 5 cancel out ,on the bottom and not X as well

@@meowmeowmwow we have to do geometry you can choose between pre calc or trig!
Mathematics is largely the same everywhere, unless you're an ideological nut job and buy into the whole 'decolonise math' nonsense.
i can't enter the link
I still have no idea what you're talking about...😖
Do you understand it now?

ARE YOU WRITING BACKWARDS
It is written on a 'light board' and the footage is then flipped for the video.
Why can't x= -20 ?
The rest I understand
division by 0 not defined
