Well, you sold me. The I Target Pro showed up on my Facebook feed this morning and it hooked me like a big fish on a line. Since we're in lockdown mode here in Cali it seems like a good way to stay sharp.
Recently got one of these and so far it has been a big help with zeroing in my red dot and improving my point of aim skills...all in the comfort of my living room. It allows me to tweak the crap out of my trigger skills and practice not flinching. Very useful for dry firing over and over without the expense of going through your ammo. Everyone who has a firearm needs to get one of these to use with their weapon of choice.
Wow !! What an awesome way to practice your firearm skills in the comfort of your home and not spend lots of money on expensive rounds that are also hard to purchase these days with the high demand and shortages. I think the price is very reasonable considering how much rounds cost now. Thanks for the demo of the I Target Pro. It’s always great whenever a technical product is being sold and there is someone actually showing you how it works.
Man oh man, this is great information to have, really appreciate the content. I ordered one of these a couple days ago so the wifey and I could practice without having to find a gun range. I think it's a good tool to learn basics, still no replacement for range time, but, it's the times we live in. Thanks again, great job !
I just got my iTargetPro and it is as easy as it showed!!!! Set up was really simple and quick. I had a blast working on my aim and stance without spending a dime in ammo. I ordered my holster and I'll be working with the quick draw program very soon.
I hope iTarget is paying you because you did a great presentation on this! I had my doubts but after your thorough explanation, I’m definitely going to purchase one today. Professionally explained and great layout of the video. I had to subscribe! Looking forward to more of your videos. 🇺🇸 Thx for sharing.
Dry firing is pretty much the same thing as "shadow boxing". When I used to box years ago, that was one of the techniques that helped polish your form. Makes sense that the same would be used or utilized for success in fire arms training. Thx for the info and God Bless
Thanks, very informative, and clear on how to use the target, and advantages.I look forward to my target pro coming in the mail soon. On ammo which cost 40 to75/ round, it is a cost savings, just to get your motor memory and skills honed.
Thanks for your walk through. Unable to go to the range because of pandemic. I bought just the bullet. I'll make my own stand. Looking forward to using it. Hoping that it will also aid in zeroing in my sights. I'll definitely buy the quick draw for training.
Man, that background reminds me of my visits to my cousin's house in the Avon Park / Sebring area! The only time I ever sat in a deer stand attached to a palm tree was when I went down there during deer season.
To insert the laser, I have to take the slide off, and put it straight in the barrel. Shadow systems, basically a Glock 42. But it's a simple step and this aid works great!
hi im a new shooter, and i vouche for this product, i have only gone to the range twice my whole life totalled 100 rounds. after practicing with the eye target for approximately once every 2 weeks for the past 2 months my groupings has improved dramatically when i went to the range today. i love this product. btw i use the 1st gen g sight 38 special laser cartridge on my 357 GP 100, with the i target sled/app and it works just fine.
rogelio arevalo that's good to hear, I was hoping to find someone that answered that question for me on here. I'm not new to shooting, but due to cost of ammo, I don't get to go shoot much anymore, so I'm hoping this will give me a way to get some practice in when I don't have the money to blow hundreds of rounds at the range
Thanks for the info on the Itarget. I have seen the targets and thought they were a little to pricy, but you have a great point with the ammo savings. Wouldn't take long to pay for itself. AA Awesome.
Thanks. I appreciate your time. The Emergency Broadcast system alert is pretty annoying though an interesting opening. Quieter and shorter would be less annoying. Thanks again
Jim Pennock I had to use the slider to get passed that annoying and a waste of time opener. I liked the video but why do so many of these guys continue to open their videos like this?
What the max distance that this will work? Do you have to walk up to your phone to see where you hit. I’m on the old side a won’t be able to see the hits on my phone from 7 to 10 yards and that’s the distance I like to practice at.
Wasn’t able to get to the range for a few months. Got this about a month ago and just got back from range today. Noticeable improvement for sure. Listened to book 10 at the range btw. 👍🏻
I would love and greatly appreciate a review with a two person practice. I have searched UA-cam but haven't been able to find even one. Your review on the iTarget has been the best one out there. Please do a 2 person example. My questions would be; do you need 2 guns and 2 bullets, how and where in the app do you go to set up, does it work well? Can you use it for both quick draw and regular practice? Thank you in advance and thank you for this detailed review.
thanks for the review! i have several questions. 1. approximately how long does the battery last? 2. are the batteries easy to find or are they specialty batteries (ie, do you have to buy them from the itarget company)? 3. are the batteries easy/convenient to replace in the laser? 4. how is the rubber part on the laser holding up from being constantly hit by the firing pin?
I can't say how long the batteries will last, but I assume they will last a long time considering no longer than the laser is on. The batteries are regular watch style batteries and can be found easily. They are easy to change, just screw it apart. I don't see any wear on the rubber striker yet. But I'll keep an eye on it.
Have you noticed the edges of your laser bullets getting damaged by after firing a lot? I’m talking about the edges around the rubber part in the middle of the bullet. On three of my guns I’m finding all three bullets are getting damaged so I’m wondering if that could be damaging my guns.
After around a month of shooting the app. Stops calculating my score on bullseye. Example: I will have 36 after 4 shots and hit a 10 and my score drops to 2 with 1 shot even though it's my 5th shot. Uninstalled app and reinstalled but still does not calculate score correctly or amount of rounds shot. Very frustrating. Emailed I target but haven't replied back.
Without recoil you dont get the " back on target " that you need in a real life situation. For what that toy costs and all the different calibers I would need to buy , i could load up on ammo, just sayen , nothing against your video brother and thank you for putting this together for us.
I bought one of those for my dad for Christmas. They are an excellent training tool but we also bought a couple of gas blow back airsoft pistols and I have to be honest, airsoft is so much better than a laser target. I don't live where I can go outside and shoot multiple steel targets. Airsoft gives me the ability to train like I want with a tool that mimics live fire very well and while it has far less recoil, there is some and it's so much cheaper than spending money on ammo and range time. There's no substitute for the real thing but if the military and police are using airsoft to train...
Looks good, but the LaserHit works better. There are more target options (freely downloadable to print), more modes, doesn't need a sled (any cheap tripod/phone holder works)... oh and is free! You just need a cheap/generic laser target ($20 from aliexpress)
It's a decent system, but their customer serve sucks. My bullet went out after the 90 day warranty and I've been trying to get a hold of customer service to buy an endcap replacement and no response after numerous emails.
Thanks for demoing the product. I like it and I like your indepth review. Your opening title is well, annoying I mean the audio is annoying. But the end title audio is fine
When he calibrated the target, he didn't do it correctly because he was just messing around for his video. As a result, the app wasn't seeing the target the same as we were seeing it. I just got my iTargetPro today and will say it seems extremely accurate, as long as you've set up the target in the app before you start shooting.
Thanks for clarifying that. I just thought it weird that it worked on the other shots but not that exact shot. It does seem like a fairly decent in-home setup though especially for the price.
Keegan Jacobs in a different review it shows that it has an attachment on the sled that can be mounted on a tripod. I think the sled/target has to be used.
You forgot to adjust the size of the target on the phone. You pinch/zoom so that the center of the bullseye overlay covers the center of the target on the screen. If it's too big, every shot will count as a bullseye.
Can you use this app with different targets? I mean I kind of don't think so because you need the Rings to be able to actually score it. So if you use the silhouette Target it wouldn't be able to score that. Am I correct? By the way good video
If anyone has a problem with the app firing without using the gun check the lighting in the room, if its too bright it will interfere with the target causing the app to malfinction. I turned the light out and the malfuncting stopped.
Someone said it will fit an 8 mm thick phone. Your pinky fingernail is about 18 mm, so it is close. Somebody else said the width of phone allowed is 3 1'2 inches, so for me, both are close to my phone measurements. But, I bought one anyway and itarget is in the mail now. In a week, send another comment and I will tell you if it fits my Samsung 5 with protective case. If you look on youtube, somebody has the phone set up on full ammo boxes and no sled. I bought the laser and sled as I only save about $20 buying the laser alone. Then again, someday, I will get another phone that will fit.
Have you had any reliability issues? I just got one and it frequently doesn't register the shot, frequently has fliers where the shot is displayed far away from where the beam hit. Already been playing with the sensitivity adjustment, not sure how the ballistic offset works, the instructions are not clear, just says shot the center of the target 5 times.
Every now and they I see some of the same things. But I found having the phone properly set makes a huge difference. It's kind of touchy. But once it's set, it reads good.
Well, you sold me. The I Target Pro showed up on my Facebook feed this morning and it hooked me like a big fish on a line. Since we're in lockdown mode here in Cali it seems like a good way to stay sharp.
Come on man. Pack your stuff and move. Cali ain't coming back.

It’s always great whenever a technical product is being sold and there is someone actually showing you how it works.
My iTarget just came today. You're right, it's fun and allows you to work on fundamentals.
I watched a few videos on it and yours is by far the best.
Man oh man, this is great information to have, really appreciate the content. I ordered one of these a couple days ago so the wifey and I could practice without having to find a gun range. I think it's a good tool to learn basics, still no replacement for range time, but, it's the times we live in. Thanks again, great job !
Excellent presentation. I looked at this a year ago. Now I’m going to buy it.
This is the vid that convinced me to buy mine lol
I just got my iTargetPro and it is as easy as it showed!!!! Set up was really simple and quick. I had a blast working on my aim and stance without spending a dime in ammo. I ordered my holster and I'll be working with the quick draw program very soon.
Terry Beams do you still use it? Just asking if it’s worth it
I'm a huge fan of your books.. please keep writing more. They are excellent and Duke Fontaine it just perfect!
I hope iTarget is paying you because you did a great presentation on this! I had my doubts but after your thorough explanation, I’m definitely going to purchase one today. Professionally explained and great layout of the video. I had to subscribe! Looking forward to more of your videos. 🇺🇸

Nice review. The iTarget pro they sell now has a different base which easily fits a large cased smartphone.
Thanks, very informative, and clear on how to use the target, and advantages.I look forward to my target pro coming in the mail soon. On ammo which cost 40 to75/ round, it is a cost savings, just to get your motor memory and skills honed.
Great Teacher!
A great and honest presentation, thanks!
reminds me of our BRM rifle training in the ARMY.
Thanks for your walk through. Unable to go to the range because of pandemic. I bought just the bullet. I'll make my own stand. Looking forward to using it. Hoping that it will also aid in zeroing in my sights. I'll definitely buy the quick draw for training.
Great video. You have me sold on this setup. I am going to purchase it.
Man, that background reminds me of my visits to my cousin's house in the Avon Park / Sebring area! The only time I ever sat in a deer stand attached to a palm tree was when I went down there during deer season.
Blue Blood pressure
Lot of good times at the 12 hours of Sebring.
To insert the laser, I have to take the slide off, and put it straight in the barrel. Shadow systems, basically a Glock 42. But it's a simple step and this aid works great!
$160 is about 2-3 trips to the range for me, this saves alot of money in ammo
Only around $100 if you only have one gun.
hi im a new shooter, and i vouche for this product, i have only gone to the range twice my whole life totalled 100 rounds. after practicing with the eye target for approximately once every 2 weeks for the past 2 months my groupings has improved dramatically when i went to the range today. i love this product. btw i use the 1st gen g sight 38 special laser cartridge on my 357 GP 100, with the i target sled/app and it works just fine.

Really good job of explaining the i-target thanks for your time👍
I hate that emergency tone. I'm 23 and it still gives me the creeps
What the max distance that this will work? Do you have to walk up to your phone to see where you hit. I’m on the old side a won’t be able to see the hits on my phone from 7 to 10 yards and that’s the distance I like to practice at.
Invest in a pair of binoculars then... what do You do at the range?
Wasn’t able to get to the range for a few months. Got this about a month ago and just got back from range today. Noticeable improvement for sure. Listened to book 10 at the range btw. 👍🏻
Good review! Waiting on mine to arrive!
Good video. Love your books!
Dear Sr how much does it cost. Please let me know about what you think. Thanks have a great day.
Why would you need to remove the case? Looks like the grip on the base opens wide enough for even a Max size phone.
Epic beard you got going there! I wish my work would allow me to grow one like that.
Thanks for the demo. It was helpful.
I would love and greatly appreciate a review with a two person practice. I have searched UA-cam but haven't been able to find even one. Your review on the iTarget has been the best one out there. Can you use it for both quick draw and regular practice? Thank you in advance and thank you for this detailed review.
Also, is it accurate from different and further distances with 1 person and 2 person practicing?
thanks for the review! i have several questions. 1. approximately how long does the battery last? 2. are the batteries easy to find or are they specialty batteries (ie, do you have to buy them from the itarget company)? 3. are the batteries easy/convenient to replace in the laser? 4. how is the rubber part on the laser holding up from being constantly hit by the firing pin?

Pretty cool. But can you mount the phone BEHIND the target? The laser would clearly be seen from the other side of the paper.
Have you noticed the edges of your laser bullets getting damaged by after firing a lot? I’m talking about the edges around the rubber part in the middle of the bullet. On three of my guns I’m finding all three bullets are getting damaged so I’m wondering if that could be damaging my guns.
Thank you for the review. Very informative
Seems like a great product, but does it take into consideration the spin drift, or gravity of an actual bullet from a greater target range?
After around a month of shooting the app. Stops calculating my score on bullseye. Example: I will have 36 after 4 shots and hit a 10 and my score drops to 2 with 1 shot even though it's my 5th shot. Uninstalled app and reinstalled but still does not calculate score correctly or amount of rounds shot. Very frustrating. Emailed I target but haven't replied back.
I am buying one today. That looks like lots of fun.

The first shot is still important. You can still go to the range.
I have the iTarget Pro and I like it. Is there a way to reset the light trigger on an HK p2000sk with the laser inserted without racking the slide.
Excellent video
Great review and explanation. Thanks.
Great review. Just curious to see if you are still using this and what your feeling are on it now. Any problems with it at all?
GOOD vid. Thanks for the the time. Saw this product on dan bongino. Gotta have one :-)
Wonder what the distance limit is . . . I normally shoot at 10-15 yds. . .
I bought one of those for my dad for Christmas. Great opening.
I really appreciate you review, great video. I ordered my Itarget today.
This was a good review, this will help me in deciding whether to buy it or not. I'm pretty much convinced on your review. Two thumbs up.
Nice product. Do they make adapters for the laser. If I bought a 9 mm laser where could I get the adapters for the 40 or 45?
You would need to buy additional laser bullets in those calibers. i Target sells them.
It's a decent system, but their customer serve sucks. My bullet went out after the 90 day warranty and I've been trying to get a hold of customer service to buy an endcap replacement and no response after numerous emails.
Very informative video, definitely going to buy one thank you
Will it work properly in my Chippa Mdl 1911-22?
Thanks for the review. It was very interesting. I ordered mine yesterday.
Thanks for the review. Having to remove the phone from the case is disappointing.
VTPSTTU my phone fits the itarget just fine with it's case on.
mechredd what type of phone do you have? I have a galaxy note 8 with the defender otter box phone case so it's pretty big
Loved your review. I'm gettting one! Thanks!!
did they stop developing the app? high score is in progress for about 1 year now.
Thanks for demoing the product. I like it and I like your indepth review. Your opening title is well, annoying I mean the audio is annoying. But the end title audio is fine
LOL. I have a new intro now, It was annoying.
Great video sir!!!
Thanks for this video. Really on the fence about it.
Can you use this with a computer as well?
@9:46 Is it just me, or does the laser hit dead in the 10-ring but only scores it as a 6?
When he calibrated the target, he didn't do it correctly because he was just messing around for his video. As a result, the app wasn't seeing the target the same as we were seeing it. Great video! Thank you for uploading definitely going to get this!
Thank you so much for the review!!! Subscribed!!
Work with green laser sirt?
great video, can you mount that target on a wall ?
Keegan Jacobs in a different review it shows that it has an attachment on the sled that can be mounted on a tripod. I think the sled/target has to be used.
What is the maximum distance that you can use this laser?
You forgot to adjust the size of the target on the phone. You pinch/zoom so that the center of the bullseye overlay covers the center of the target on the screen. If it's too big, every shot will count as a bullseye.
Good video. How does this compare to the MantisX. Anybody?
Can you use this app with different targets? I mean I kind of don't think so because you need the Rings to be able to actually score it. So if you use the silhouette Target it wouldn't be able to score that. Am I correct? By the way good video
the non case is a deal breaker for me, great video though
can I get the make and model of that 1911? Its exactly what ive been looking for for my CCW.
Sorry for the delay. It's a Kimber Ultra Carry.
I have a kimber 1911 45 target II. Along with several other pistols, by far my favorite pistol.
Great video! Mine is on order.
Thank you for the info awesome review
My local range is 25 yards. Will this work at that range?
I'm not sure. But I'll try and it see
The laser must be battery powered. Can the battery be easily replaced?
Yes, they use small watch style batteries. The laser only comes on for a brief second though so it will probably last a long time.
Do you have a dealer in Europe ??
I see that you can use your phone, but is there a adaptation to use a IPad?
If anyone has a problem with the app firing without using the gun check the lighting in the room, if its too bright it will interfere with the target causing the app to malfinction. I turned the light out and the malfuncting stopped.
Does the app work without the sled? I downloaded it but couldnt start it
Great review thanks much!
Nice job AA. Nice review. LOL i do not use a phone case in the last seven years. Thank you.
Hey I was your 1000th sub!
Great video. Cool item. I just dont like the fact you have to reset the gun after every shot. Glock 26
Good video covered what I wanted to know..
Great video, thanks!
Great product
Thanks, nicely done.
Will the sled hold an Android in a case. 9/16 inch thick.
I have the same question. My phone is in a protective case. Can someone answer this question please?
Someone said it will fit an 8 mm thick phone. Your pinky fingernail is about 18 mm, so it is close. Somebody else said the width of phone allowed is 3 1'2 inches, so for me, both are close to my phone measurements. But, I bought one anyway and itarget is in the mail now. I bought the laser and sled as I only save about $20 buying the laser alone. Then again, someday, I will get another phone that will fit.
Jim Beran my phone and case is about 7/16 x 3 inches and it fits with room to spare.
Was wondering how accurate is this thing...
Add a physical element to enhance the training.
So the gunslinger of the old west days were right they did it first modern day guys are just rediscovering it .love the laser bullet!
Thanks for the review of this
needed a way to practice without wasting rounds due too 9mm shortages.
They brought the price way down. It’s $90 now
Have you had any reliability issues? I just got one and it frequently doesn't register the shot, frequently has fliers where the shot is displayed far away from where the beam hit. Every now and they I see some of the same things. But I found having the phone properly set makes a huge difference. It's kind of touchy. But once it's set, it reads good.
Agreed, I've now found the same thing. Right now I have it working really well. Thanks!
That's include the gun too!
