    This song helped me recover my joy after my youngest died in a multi-vehicle accident. I sang with her daily as she was growing up; so, it was important to me to ‘keep singing’. At first, after she died, I absolutely could NOT sing, literally choking on certain words…eventually I broke through to be able to sing out loud without my chest seizing. Thankfully my mother had taught me as a child that you can sing through your tears.
    The song is such an unusual arrangement musically, that it captivates you to listen to catch the all the lyrics.
    Six years later I am appreciating this song anew, after my house burned down along with my garage and car. Thank you the comforting word set to song!

      This album and this song came out of the Lord’s urging us to record an album on Comfort in trials. We had not considered this topic for young people, but the Lord kept “nudging”!us to do it. And it has proven to be very helpful to saints of all ages. We all go through trials and sorrows. We feel for you and many others who have lost loved ones. But as Philippians 4 says “"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;" (Philippians 4:6) We must cast all our anxieties on Him and He will comfort bus as only He can. He restores our soul.

    Philippians 4: 6-8
    "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving , present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--- think about such things."
    Some years ago, I purchased a book written by a wonderful Christian who later became a favorite author-- M. Lucado. : "Anxious for Nothing ". Everyone has seasons of uncertainty, anxiety, or conflict, but we don't have to give up our Joy in Christ Jesus. Anxiety is not a sin; it is an emotion; so don't be anxious about feeling anxious. Allow the anxiety, but take it to the Lord. This I have learned.
    I take everything to the Lord in prayer. Just today I had burdens that I had to deal with. God is my answer! Thank you, Lord Jesus.
    This is an uplifting scriptural hymn with the voices I just love. The guitar and harmonica are delightful. The images are heart-warming. Thank you NYC Young People. What a blessing you all are! ✝️🦋

      I just have a question, if He says in nothing be anxious, and we allow ourselves anxiety to worry and fret, isn't this really not trusting that He will take care of me?

      No, it is not a failure of trust in the Lord for allowing degrees of anxiety or worry (fretting) concerning whatever the burden is: acts of unrighteousness, sin, a loved one's health and well-being, wars or rumors of wars, etc...
      Referring to Philippians 4: 6-8 in my comment above, make your requests (worries, fears, anxieties) known to God...
      But what is not obvious is that some Believers may be prone to "beating themselves up" with added anxiety and other negative "emotions" piled on top of the original feelings that caused the pain or uncertainty.
      Max Lucado, in his book "Anxious for Nothing ", 2017, devotes 200 pages, (the whole book), to Philippians 4: 6-8 plus he addresses the extra anxiety I mentioned.
      In other words, we do not have to "be anxious about feeling anxious ". Like you said in your question, God does take care of you. You can trust Him! In Nothing, be Anxious. Or in other words, leave your anxiety with the Lord.
