Love Biohazard! Self titled and Urban Discipline still get spins
I got to open for Billy a few years ago in Seattle with Klondike Kate. Billy and his band KILLED it and he was a super cool dude. Sadly it was a bit of a ghost show but they still gave their all and then some.
@finnmckenty, We need a whole episode on the Judgment Night soundtrack.
I met Billy opening for his band Suicide City. He loved our band due to a Dead Boys influence. Ended up hanging out with him the whole night. He’s one of most down to earth and fun guys to hang with.
Finally some content that’s not Pop Punk lol 🙌🏻
Heard that haha
I get it, my audience hates the music I like. I try to talk about metal as much as possible because I know that’s what you guys enjoy. Obviously it’s not my preference but I’m here to make the content you want!
@@FinnMckentyPRMBA we love you either way Finn!
Nah mostly only when i talk about metal. It’s not what I enjoy but it’s about you guys not me! This is the content business not an art project.
@@FinnMckentyPRMBA cash is king.
Great interview ! Big fan of their music and it always struck me that these guys said so many smart stuff onstage and in interviews.
Biohazard was my first concert with Slipknot and an unsigned mudvayne. So fucking good
Great interview, you ask great questions and are always informed/aware of the subjects you are speaking of when you do them
Thank you!
I like Biohazard since I became a metalhead, and I respect what he is doing today as BillyBio. And I admire Billy for what he created with this band and his beliefs which made him a really good man, he really got the trends and understand the youth of today, and gives a really nice advices. I like as he talks about stories from his youth, it's such inspiring, sometimes weird and funny.
Great convo... salute 💪🏾
Great interview! I'm not ussually a hardcore listener but i have a soft spot for biohazard. Loved billy's attitude
Soup on my stove... Billy has an awesome way of explaining stuff. Enjoy this alot.
I was at that show in Allentown, or it could of been another with Biohazard and SOIA because I don't remember Sheer Terror on the bill. I think it was the New Titans on the Block tour. I had won back stage passes and was waiting off the the side of the stage for Bio to finish up and SOIA hit the stage. "They" started their "sieghail" BS. Lou reacted by saying "We just finished up our world tour and we are on our way back to Queens. But first we had to stop off at ass backwards Allentown." What I thought was the most violent pit erupted. People were running out of the pit covering their faces. I was like wow this is brutal, then my eyes and nose started to burn as my friend yelled "Mace!!!"
Great interview :)
Rolled with billy on his last euro tour! Great memorys on that day! #Starstrucksparring
My old band recorded a demo at Billy and Danny’s studio when it opened back in 2003-2004. He was such an awesome guy to work with!!
They own that studio in Cali together?? Fire something right?
@@knowledgegod2635 no, this was their first one in South Amboy, NJ. I think they called it Ratpiss studios.
@@tommycraven6410 that's sick! I wonder if Danny still does production. Fuck was he ever sick at drums.
Speaking to the European thing from a British perspective here. The whole East/West Coast rivalry from the rap scene was something that i think we tended to project on the whole 90s punk thing. Maybe not to the same extent and perhaps more analogous to our own North/South rivalries. Either way there was a narrative there which i think helped to generate a lot more interest in Biohazard et al.
Glad to hear Des Moines mentioned. We never get mentioned lol.
Biohazard is so on point.
Danny Schular, probably one of the best punk drummers ever.
I wonder if Toby Morse will be another guest on the punk rock MBA, something tells me it could happen soon.
I have talked to him about it! Hopefully
I love Danny's drumming. I played drums for a hardcore band many years ago and Danny was a major influence on me.
Damn… Billy taking about Cooper?!?!. Flipping awesome.
I love how he named so many bands with no puns intended
the album art on billy's new album is so dope
That's artbyeyebrows, dude. One of these weird secret identity street art guys like Bansky.
They had Boston Mike in their video, they are the real deal, respect to you Billy! Awesome video Finn!
Of all the people why does Boston Mike excite you?
@@dragginmedown do you even know who Boston Mike is?
👍
What makes us tick
BIOHAZARD were proto sports metal
I met Billy years ago at a Biohazard gig in Calgary and he was just a friendly nice dude. They all grabbed this gal in a wheelchair and posed for pics with her cuz she couldn't get up front. Just classy dudes.
Don’t know how you got a SOIA comparison.
Punishment for my sins... i repent 🤘
Wow I'm so disappointed no one checked this video
Holy shit. I love Biohazard, but I always forget how big of boneheads those guys were until you hear one of them start talking lol.
Why? They are true to themselves and I can appreciate that honesty.
Or is it because some of them could submit you in a second?
@@knowledgegod2635 there it is.
I’m here for billy not a huge fan of prmba
