This cult has been targeting North East, Indian States for a few years now. They tap into the people's love for Korean culture and lifestyle to get them hooked. I personally met two girls who gave me a pamphlet and asked for my number. They started by asking if I knew God was a woman. Even though they appeared friendly and kind, something about them just gave me bad vibes. They sort of cornered me on the footpath and O reluctantly gave them my number. I was a little perplexed and noth thinking clearly, I guess. They kept calling me from different numbers for like a week and I kept blocking them. Many people also have come across this cult trying to recruit.

Thank you. The more people know, the more people know, and knowledge is power. It’s how all these cults work, by appealing to people who may be lonely, or searching for something in their lives, but getting out is much harder than getting in, if you fall for the bait. If you aren’t free to leave, or you are being promised some sort of superpower that makes you superior to non members, it’s a cult, stay away.

no. The word "extreme" would mean that their actions would act entirely ortodox to its beliefs.
if a cult says "you have to sacrifice someone to save the world" extremists will do exactly what it says, while others might not kill.
if a religion says "save the poor and give them a home" the extremist will give them a home, the others will only give money or food. Here is the difference. It's important that we take notice of the worldview of a cult

@@jeanne5922 An awful lot of people here seem to think that they are action movie heroes who'd just have charged in and saved that woman. I really wonder why so many people are this delusional. There's tons of similar cases and yet barely ever does anyone interfere, so why do these people think that they're different?
Self-preservation is one of our strongest instincts, one that we can rarely oppose - and that only in the most extreme circumstances, like protecting a loved one or a friend from almost certain death. Being able to overcome that instinct for a random stranger? Basically impossible.
And besides, it's not like those people were organized in any way or knew to rely on each other. They were just random people who wanted to get some McDonald's. Why would anyone blindly charge in without knowing whether or not they'd be backed up by the other customers and employees? Doing so would likely just have increased the death toll to two and it would have done little to save that woman.
After calling the police, recording the incident is the best they can do because it means the whole incident is properly documented for the police and the court of law to review.
What I also don't get is how some people can be so self centered as to demand that others risk their lives to save them. If I was in a life-or-death situation, I certainly wouldn't expect - let alone demand - that somebody would risk their life to save mine. I'd be grateful, to be sure, if someone did, but I wouldn't blame anyone of none came to my aid.

I know that the government habitually censored news stories that involved any cult/religious affiliation, so our internet search results and international news access (both online and in print) left gaping holes in our knowledge of world events... maybe that's why I'd never heard of this story until recently. Idk…in a situation like that I think there’s some nuance. It’s not just about age. It was a kid indoctrinated by their parents and taught that everyone else is wrong and immoral, probably for years right at the crucial development years. They didn’t start it, they just joined in.
It’s not a comparable offense, but imagine two parents being totally rude to a waiter. If a 12 year old kid joins in you can say that they were raised wrong and need to be taught better, but 12 is barely even to the age where most children start seriously questioning their upbringing and changing their behaviors. It’s the same thing but with 100x the craziness and indoctrination.
I mean, clearly the family was crazy enough to murder someone in broad daylight in a crowded area over nothing. You’re 12 and you depend completely on them, and in the mental world they were raised into not going with it would be an evil offense. You could be excused for throwing a stomp or two as long as intense treatment is given.
Not the same as a 12 year old kid in a stable situation who murders a toddler on their own volition out of nowhere.

“There are plenty of good reasons for fighting...but no good reason to ever hate without reservation, to imagine that God Almighty hates with you, too. Where's evil? It's that large part of every man that wants to hate without limit, that wants to hate with God on its side. It's that part of every man that finds all kinds of ugliness so attractive....it's that part of an imbecile that punishes and vilifies and makes war gladly.”

Oh man, I've heard about Eastern Lightning from the podcast Cults. I highly recommend listening, you pick up a lot about identifying cult behavior.
It may seem insignificant to refuse joining a religion out-of-country, but religion is actually a pretty big deal in China. All religion had been aggressively outlawed in favor of secularity for a long time, and it was only recently that a few had been legalized again. It's one of those stories about taking advantage of the oppressed and grooming them for violent retaliation.

Yeah, the world is too harsh and disasterous for that kind of fantasizing.
That poor woman who wasn't even involved. I see a lot of comments defending the people who "were too scared to intervene, but not too scared to pull out a cell phone and watch and record as she got beatened to death by an entire family."
They say, "the family said they would kill anyone who intervenes." Like that's enough? They're two women and a child included. What a lame excuse for humanity some people are.

@@alecfleming3213 you know, this is the problem with how people show their religion nowadays.
I'm not perfect, but I'm a Christian, but I don't force anything upon others about my belief in Christ, may it be online or in real life. I'm not a missionary but I won't lie about who I am. But from this comment you made, you show me that you have either had a bad experience with one who is of religious background or just saying that due to your perspective of said background, which would leave me and someone like me somewhat offended since you're pushing us all in a category where we are not just believers of our faith, but fanatics. Which is unfair and highly ignorant to say in truth.
Not defending those quacks though, they're insane for trying to push to the point of killing an innocent woman. Plus, let's be honest here, a man claiming that the Messiah is specifically a Chinese woman is utterly ridiculous in truth, who would cause the End Times is NOT a Messiah like Christ, but more like the Anti-Christ in all honesty. So you know their belief is insane to the point of literal radicalism if they'd kill somebody for it.
It's even been said in the Bible that their would be false Christs claiming themselves to b, leading up to events that are signs of nearing the end.
Take what you will from me, but I just wanted to defend the fact that not all of us who are religious are some fanatics who kill or harm others to enforce our beliefs. That's spiritually immoral in all actuality.

There are at least a dozen customers watching in the video including young men. The assailants are a middle aged man and a few small girls. There a a few people filming and people were standing in front of the door watching and could of left at any time. People didn’t look very scared, more curious at what was going on. Also the footage shows the person walking right up to the attack to get a better view. I usually give bystanders the benefit of the doubt due to psychology In these situations but not in this case. Pretty apparent people were more than capable of doing something to stop the attack,
