This is Nice lazy! How are you doing? :)
Lazy's been making my sleep better. Thank you mayn :")
Well such a collision of cultures is actually pretty American.
ahh, that digital melting pot lol
Reading the title I thought this was a cult that based it’s beliefs around McDonald’s for some reason.
Maybe lazy can make a video on fast food brand-based cults

Who wouldn’t put faith into McDonald’s
In ronald we trust
That would have been amazing 😂
Getting hit by a McDonald's ad in the middle of the video made this more unsettling.

That's funny because I got an ad for a swifter mop after the narrator said they attacked the young lady with mops.
Gotta love the algorithm!

This cult has been targeting North East, Indian States for a few years now. They tap into the people's love for Korean culture and lifestyle to get them hooked. I personally met two girls who gave me a pamphlet and asked for my number. They started by asking if I knew God was a woman. Even though they appeared friendly and kind, something about them just gave me bad vibes. They sort of cornered me on the footpath and O reluctantly gave them my number. I was a little perplexed and noth thinking clearly, I guess. They kept calling me from different numbers for like a week and I kept blocking them. Many people also have come across this cult trying to recruit.
For real? My nation truly has bizzare stories (not in a complimenting way but utter shockness)
Dang. Honestly I'm glad you ended up giving them your number though. Don't know what they would do
which state which city though; I had kind of a similar situation while shooting near meghalaya
Thank you. The more people know, the more people know, and knowledge is power. It’s how all these cults work, by appealing to people who may be lonely, or searching for something in their lives, but getting out is much harder than getting in, if you fall for the bait. If you aren’t free to leave, or you are being promised some sort of superpower that makes you superior to non members, it’s a cult, stay away.
That's interesting. Some time ago there were some strange people saying similar things in corridors at my university located in Brazil.
Guess they're everywhere.
"Wrong side of her balcony"
That is the most colourful way to describe what she was doing that I've heard lmao
I feel so sorry for that poor lady. All she wanted was to get something to eat and to be left alone to enjoy it. If they killed her for not giving that cult her phone number, it makes me wonder what they would have done if someone objected to joining their group. Probably kill them at McDonald's I guess.
Im not downplaying what you said at all but didn't they say she had just gotten off her shift? So she worked at McDonald's? If so thats even worse. She was just trying to go home from work.

Or perhaps she thought she did, until it was too late. Plenty of suicide survivors regret their attempts.

@@flimcomedy7667 Absolutely agree.
@@flimcomedy7667 Many cults don’t start off with the intention of becoming cults. Loads of them start off as simple religious groups, that slowly become more and more extreme. Most of them don’t get attention until something crazy happens, and then it’s too late.
I wouldnt call them disgusting, but they're certainty really ill in the mental department.
@@LexTime89
no. The word "extreme" would mean that their actions would act entirely ortodox to its beliefs.
if a cult says "you have to sacrifice someone to save the world" extremists will do exactly what it says, while others might not kill.
if a religion says "save the poor and give them a home" the extremist will give them a home, the others will only give money or food. Here is the difference. It's important that we take notice of the worldview of a cult
So frustrating. 6 of them, one being a child and a restaurant full of people couldn't stop them.
It's probably the fear of death, combined with the bystander effect

I was living in China when this happened. It was particularly scary because there are a lot of groups that ask for your phone number, and a lot of them are scammers. Luckily, I just had a burner phone while I was there, so I could change my number if I wanted.

I’m from Colorado and I had a very strange experience with a group of people who held that same belief about JESUS having already returned as an Asian woman. I had never heard anything like that. And honestly, I really wasn’t interested. But her whole group was very persistent about the whole thing. It would not surprise me at all if this was the same group , or at least a spin-off group
It is, because Lazy glosses over it but Eastern Lighting are a Christian subsect officially known as The Church of Allmighty God
I'm in Brazil and I've seen they "recruiting" here too.
@@Colenelnelson calling them a Christian subsect is a bit of a stretch. They're a cult who've hijacked certain aspects of Christianity and warped it into something that is far removed from what the Bible teaches. Nothing in the Bible states that God will come back to Earth in the form of an Asian woman (oddly specific) to destroy us all.
@@andrewwhitehurst2481 They regard themselves as Christians and base their teachings on a reading of the bible, I never said they were mainstream Christians, if you want to regard them as heretics thats your choice, but they arent Muslims, Buddhists, Animists, Zoroastrians, Hindus or followers of any other religion.

That's Soka Gakkai, and they are a cult too.
What I'm more worried is that, if this cult will escalate more. Due to having over 2 million members, they can do serious damage to others well being. Like in 1995 in the sarin subway gas attack. There's no telling what can happen next.
Between this and the blind following of most religions it scary how many gullible stupid are on this planet.

After seeing that video of the blonde going psycho in the drive thru for some chicken nuggets, I thought the same thing.

Greatest comment I've seen in a while.
Its so disturbing that the people at the McDonalds just watched her get murdered and even recorded her rather than helping her. I don't know what I would've done since I've never been in that situation but I know I wouldn't have just watched and recorded it.
The cult said that anyone who tried to intervene would die- Um....Did you catch that part?
@@jeanne5922 ummm and? Lol. Cowardly.
Yeah, recording it is piece of shit behavior but standing up to six lunatics without backup is questionable without weapons.
It was like that British man being stabbed on the London Underground. More people took out their phones and filmed the incident than did anything to stop it.
If these 2 incidents don't make you lose faith in humanity, then you're inhuman in the first place.
@@jeanne5922 An awful lot of people here seem to think that they are action movie heroes who'd just have charged in and saved that woman. I really wonder why so many people are this delusional. There's tons of similar cases and yet barely ever does anyone interfere, so why do these people think that they're different?
Self-preservation is one of our strongest instincts, one that we can rarely oppose - and that only in the most extreme circumstances, like protecting a loved one or a friend from almost certain death. Being able to overcome that instinct for a random stranger? Basically impossible.
And besides, it's not like those people were organized in any way or knew to rely on each other. They were just random people who wanted to get some McDonald's. Why would anyone blindly charge in without knowing whether or not they'd be backed up by the other customers and employees? Doing so would likely just have increased the death toll to two and it would have done little to save that woman.
After calling the police, recording the incident is the best they can do because it means the whole incident is properly documented for the police and the court of law to review.
What I also don't get is how some people can be so self centered as to demand that others risk their lives to save them. If I was in a life-or-death situation, I certainly wouldn't expect - let alone demand - that somebody would risk their life to save mine. I'd be grateful, to be sure, if someone did, but I wouldn't blame anyone of none came to my aid.

They did gather video evidence, tho. That's useful.
It's Chinese societal culture not to get involved or help someone in distress. There were not scared, they just didn't give a damn.
Without that video they would have no proof.
Actually in China if anyone help out they are directly count as involved in the case which people doesnt want, thats why they rather record than doing anything else, so when proves were needed theh can send it to the police. The only people who can call the police are workers in MCD or outside MCD and saw what happened.

this makes me so angry. people can be so delusional and are allowed to do shit like this. lives shouldn’t be taken because disturbed people are allowed to do whatever they want
Technically they aren't really allowed to do what they want, the cult is banned, illegal.
If only Chinese citizens were allowed to bear arms and were under a slightly less restrictive government.. Ah, but such is the downside of living under socialist/communist governments. Unfortunately even if you were to get hit by a car it is unlikely anyone would come to your aid due to the possibility of legal complications (for example), or so I've heard. It's pretty messed up over there.
Sounds like the MAGA hat idiot cult over here in USA
They were literally executed for doing this
Well it looks like we have at least one sock puppet account in here.
@@DodongoManoof Seriously? Did you forget that other cult that has killed dozens of people and burned whole cities? Of course you did, cuz orange man bad.
God people are so freaking stupid! And the fact that those people only got a few years in jail rather the death penalty like the first two is ridiculous!
More than likely, the ones who received the lesser sentences actually showed some kind of remorse for their actions and claimed they were brainwashed and forced to do it. You can see in the trial pictures, the young one with the glasses looks like she'd been crying and actually has a look of remorse on her face. The other two went on at length about how what they did was justified and they fully believed they were doing the will of god.
We were living in Shanghai in 2014, and I honestly don't remember hearing anything about this at all at the time. I know that the government habitually censored news stories that involved any cult/religious affiliation, so our internet search results and international news access (both online and in print) left gaping holes in our knowledge of world events... maybe that's why I'd never heard of this story until recently. Falun Gong stories seem to be the usual 'stories I missed at the time' but I guess it makes sense that there were many others. :) 谢谢 Lazy!

Moreover, you don't know if these lunatics are carrying weapons. As cold as it seems, recording what's happening and calling the police is the best you can do. Of course, police cannot stop the murder (she probably died in a minute or so), but they can make sure they don't hurt anyone else
Everytime my head repeats your intro song out of no where you upload a video, I feel scared but very happy at the same time
OMG another video??? Dude you're my fav channel on here and i look forward to all your vids
that cult leader had physics in action with his perfectly symmetrical hair. I wish the woman wouldve just given them a fake number, or something. This was sick
Love the channel. Huge fan. Her name isn’t momo. Her last name is Xi, but momo isn’t her first name. Momo means someone in Chinese, it’s a way of disguising the victim’s identity.
Isn't "Xi" as well?
I saw a video yesterday where a store clerk shot a theif in the head for stealing a redbull. Been seeing a lot of senseless killings lately.
I don't know thieves kinda know the risk they're taking. Not saying it's worth a life for what they did but when you're gonna steal you kinda know what could happen.
That's different. The thief could've been armed, so the best thing for the clerk to do was protect himself.
@@shivaanrambally9611 over a redbull?? the punishment should fit the crime, asshole. A fine or just forcing him to put it back or pay would have been fine. You're insane.
@@shivaanrambally9611 yeah im totally gonna bring a gun just to steal 1 redbull...
Your outro is so spoopy, I love it!
You just have a unique way of making one have chills.
Alright alright, freaking love when Lazy uploads!
@ᴛᴀᴘ ᴍᴇ ᴀɴᴅ sᴇᴇ Natalie your not real
This is why I converted to BK and Wendy's, far less chance of being murdered to death
Have you been to the Burger King in Hell? Everytime i go, i get robbed, raped, and killed. It sucks.
This is why I converted from Eastern Lightning to Falun Gong
I'm a manager at a burger king. You won't get murdered but your kids might get touched or given drugs by the 60 boneless people that always surround the building
(Both of these have occurred)
@@applescruff1969 there are ways to prevent this outcome since you know it will happen every time you go.
All hail the flying spaghetti monster! May it's meatbally goodness enlighten your souls and brighten your existence.
Old enough to commit the crime, old enough to stand trial. Really bloody annoys me how youths get away with everything!
Idk…in a situation like that I think there’s some nuance. It’s not just about age. It was a kid indoctrinated by their parents and taught that everyone else is wrong and immoral, probably for years right at the crucial development years. They didn’t start it, they just joined in.
It’s not a comparable offense, but imagine two parents being totally rude to a waiter. If a 12 year old kid joins in you can say that they were raised wrong and need to be taught better, but 12 is barely even to the age where most children start seriously questioning their upbringing and changing their behaviors. It’s the same thing but with 100x the craziness and indoctrination.
I mean, clearly the family was crazy enough to murder someone in broad daylight in a crowded area over nothing. You’re 12 and you depend completely on them, and in the mental world they were raised into not going with it would be an evil offense. You could be excused for throwing a stomp or two as long as intense treatment is given.
Not the same as a 12 year old kid in a stable situation who murders a toddler on their own volition out of nowhere.
“There are plenty of good reasons for fighting...but no good reason to ever hate without reservation, to imagine that God Almighty hates with you, too. Where's evil? It's that large part of every man that wants to hate without limit, that wants to hate with God on its side. It's that part of every man that finds all kinds of ugliness so attractive....it's that part of an imbecile that punishes and vilifies and makes war gladly.”
― Kurt Vonnegut, Mother Night
Oh man, I've heard about Eastern Lightning from the podcast Cults. I highly recommend listening, you pick up a lot about identifying cult behavior.
It may seem insignificant to refuse joining a religion out-of-country, but religion is actually a pretty big deal in China. All religion had been aggressively outlawed in favor of secularity for a long time, and it was only recently that a few had been legalized again. It's one of those stories about taking advantage of the oppressed and grooming them for violent retaliation.
I was right on time for Lazy Masquerade ☺️
Never trust a person who says that they want to "save your soul".
So true. Doesn't matter who, religion included.
Yeah, the world is too harsh and disasterous for that kind of fantasizing.
That poor woman who wasn't even involved. I see a lot of comments defending the people who "were too scared to intervene, but not too scared to pull out a cell phone and watch and record as she got beatened to death by an entire family."
They say, "the family said they would kill anyone who intervenes." Like that's enough? They're two women and a child included. What a lame excuse for humanity some people are.
@@alecfleming3213 you know, this is the problem with how people show their religion nowadays.
I'm not perfect, but I'm a Christian, but I don't force anything upon others about my belief in Christ, may it be online or in real life. I'm not a missionary but I won't lie about who I am. But from this comment you made, you show me that you have either had a bad experience with one who is of religious background or just saying that due to your perspective of said background, which would leave me and someone like me somewhat offended since you're pushing us all in a category where we are not just believers of our faith, but fanatics. Which is unfair and highly ignorant to say in truth.
Not defending those quacks though, they're insane for trying to push to the point of killing an innocent woman. Plus, let's be honest here, a man claiming that the Messiah is specifically a Chinese woman is utterly ridiculous in truth, who would cause the End Times is NOT a Messiah like Christ, but more like the Anti-Christ in all honesty. So you know their belief is insane to the point of literal radicalism if they'd kill somebody for it.
It's even been said in the Bible that their would be false Christs claiming themselves to b, leading up to events that are signs of nearing the end.
Take what you will from me, but I just wanted to defend the fact that not all of us who are religious are some fanatics who kill or harm others to enforce our beliefs. That's spiritually immoral in all actuality.
@@gaunterodimmmastermirrors72 This is fair actually. You are right, I seem to have blanketed a group. Whoops... I know better... You can't judge a book buy the cover, but you can judge a library by it's books... And I done judged libraries... Thank you for this clarification, as I can grow from this.

Love your videos as I’m celebrating my birthday today!
Happy Birthday 🎂🎉🥳🎉🎊🎁🎀🎈
Happy birthday 🎉
Thank you!
There are at least a dozen customers watching in the video including young men. The assailants are a middle aged man and a few small girls. There a a few people filming and people were standing in front of the door watching and could of left at any time. People didn’t look very scared, more curious at what was going on. Also the footage shows the person walking right up to the attack to get a better view. I usually give bystanders the benefit of the doubt due to psychology In these situations but not in this case. Pretty apparent people were more than capable of doing something to stop the attack,
But they would have lost their place in the que.
Getting evidence in these kinds of situations is more useful than just rushing at them and probably getting beaten up.
@Pedro Oh, so that's worth more than saving woman's life to you, huh...?
idk how you can see their faces to catch the nuance of their processes at all tbh. pretty fuckin blurry. maybe they were indeed just scared, almost as if self-preservation is a prime human directive and they don't know these people or the outcome if they got involved lmao
