- In 1995, 13-year old Jordan Albertsen became obsessed with the 1960s garage rock Tacoma-based band, The Sonics. Twenty-plus years later, Jordan's award-winning documentary on this seminal group is wowing audiences around the world.

A year ago I had the opportunity to met one of the original band members.
I hope the new generations get to appreciate great music from bands like THE SONICS.

@@hectorkinghorn7743 Sadly no. I contacted a director of the film on FB and he didn't have any immediate plans to release it on streaming or DVD. Super lame considering the many obscure docs on Prime and UA-cam.

for real, would literally give them so much attention if they put it on youtube or whatever else. they showed it at festivals which i get but can't put it on streaming services? so dumb

He should communicate what the heck is going on. Fellow Pacific northwest rockers Exploding Hearts' documentarians gave regular updates and all of the ups and downs of the process. The lack of communication is maddening.@@UberLummox
