I discovered the Sonics as a youngin' myself, and never went back. How come nobody is talking about the Sonics being the beginnings of the punk wave that came much later. You are Jordan. We must spread the word!
Great band! Never gets old. A year ago I had the opportunity to met one of the original band members. I hope the new generations get to appreciate great music from bands like THE SONICS.

Pittsburgh culteral trust showed this movie sept. 2024. It was a must see! We had some very hip djs that played the Sonics music when I was a teen.They were more known than they knew!!
@@hectorkinghorn7743 Sadly no. I contacted a director of the film on FB and he didn't have any immediate plans to release it on streaming or DVD. Super lame considering the many obscure docs on Prime and UA-cam.
for real, would literally give them so much attention if they put it on youtube or whatever else. they showed it at festivals which i get but can't put it on streaming services? so dumb
He should communicate what the heck is going on. Fellow Pacific northwest rockers Exploding Hearts' documentarians gave regular updates and all of the ups and downs of the process. The lack of communication is maddening.@@UberLummox
