Hovland was clearly flighting his ball higher which allowed the descend angle to stop the ball virtually where it landed. Good stuff. Surprised no one else made that adjustment.
This is the best thing that's ever happened at the Yas Marina circuit. F1 fan speaking here.

Viktor's a beast...pleasure to watch.
With a more well thought out plan and structure, I really think this could be great. Just needs a lot of polishing. Oh, and here's a tip. "The clock will start once you've hit your first ball"

Green looks ridicilously unfair btw, bounces anywhere buy straight. Commentary on 27:15 :-S "coming up with all the excuses", when Brooks lands his shot within a foot off the hole and ends up with 5 points
@@Peter-fm3wr they are supposed to be zingy and trash talk the players to get them rattled. But yea this has been the worse target so far, the bounces were terrible, still Victor was a beast and won it fair and square

A few things could definitely change to make this better.
1. New hosts could be great, these ones are just awkward and uncomfortable.
2. The setting could be better, this doesn’t seem like the best place to hold something like this.
3. They need to make the landing pad, like, an actual landing pad. Not with all those lumps and fabric.
4. Make the audience more lively, this was incredibly uncomfortable to watch because no one in the audience cared

Jake Sullivan how would you respond when someone asks you what it’s like to be the number one player in golf right now? It’s got to be a difficult question to answer, i mean your going to come out sounding arrogant or ungrateful, (i don’t think he came out as either of thes) you could either say yeah it’s great, which is what he said, or you could say yeah it’s ok, i would say it’s even worse to say it’s just ok, you’d be saying your ungrateful for something thousands of golfers have been working for their entire lives.
