@@Re_Upload_TV Perth seems more likely to grow into a major metropolis like Sydney or Melbourne, thanks to its rapid expansion, economic opportunities, and international connections and also because its huge. It feels more “futuristic” in terms of PR, with a bright, dynamic future ahead. Canberra will continue to grow, but in a more steady, controlled way. Hey Priyanka! I'm Syeda from Hyderabad, India, and I'm moving to Brisbane on Nov 12! 🥳 Woohoo, very excited!! Hey great content, can you please help me in selecting the right university (University of Melbourne, RMIT, Monash University etc) for masters in data science, I have 9.5 gpa. I have doubts about which uni will be great for my resume and help me in getting a job in the field of data science
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Given your strong GPA of 9.5, you have excellent options. 1. University of Melbourne - Its consistently ranked among the top in Australia and globally. Highly reputed for research, with strong industry connections, which is great for building your resume. Melbourne has strong ties to industries, and being in the heart of a tech hub offers great opportunities. 2. Monash University - Also well-regarded globally, particularly for research. Focuses on practical skills, with various opportunities for internships and industry placements. Monash’s alumni network is extensive, and its industry connections can be beneficial for finding a job. 3. RMIT - Known for a hands-on approach and industry-focused programs. Strong industry collaboration, offering more practical exposure, which can be helpful if you prefer a skills-based approach. RMIT's close ties with industries in Melbourne can lead to internship opportunities and practical experience, but its global ranking is slightly lower than Melbourne and Monash. If your focus is on building a strong resume with global recognition, University of Melbourne or Monash University would be ideal. If you're looking for a more practical, hands-on approach with strong local industry ties, RMIT might be a great fit. That's just my opinion, you do your own research too.
Hey ! Can u tell which courses u did before your masters in buisness analyst in australia ? Ans are there any extra qualification like certificate which i can gain to boost my profile
Hey , I definitely adore your videos as they are precise and relatable for me especially. Wanted to known some details about masters in business analytics course . That i had contacted an y axis agent in Australia and they were asking that for PR as Business analyst will require 90-95 points and will I be able to obtain PR in it from Melbourne. On the other hand if i pursue masters of social work in Melbourne will I be able to get PR with 70-75 points ?
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you find my videos relatable. Regarding your query about PR in Australia, the points required for PR as a Business Analyst in Melbourne can indeed be quite high, that was the reason I moved from Melbourne to Canberra. Points are typically around 90-95 due to the competitive nature of the occupation. On the other hand, Social Work is on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), and the points requirement might be lower, around 70-75 points. Social workers are in demand in Australia, especially in regional areas, which might provide additional points or opportunities. Definitely a better choice. I would say that it’s crucial to consider which field aligns better with your long-term career goals and how confident you are in achieving the required points for PR in each occupation. Hope this helps!
@@priyanka_saluja Almost answered all the queries quite well which you do as usual 😌😇 But can you recommend some regional areas with good job opportunities in Australia (that too specifically near to Melbourne if possible) 🙃🙂
I received an offer from UQ in Brisbane for the February 2025 intake and am currently waiting for my COE. When would be the best time to lodge my visa application? I've heard that there's a restriction on applying for a visa earlier than 12 weeks before the course starts. Is this true?
Heyy, congratulations on your offer from UQ! The timing for lodging your visa application is crucial. You’re correct that there is a general guideline suggesting that student visa applications for Australia should not be lodged more than 12 weeks (approximately 3 months) before your course start date. This is mainly to ensure that the visa decision aligns with your intended arrival and commencement of studies. However, this is more of a guideline than a strict rule. Once you receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (COE), you can technically apply for your visa at any time, but applying too early might cause your visa to be granted well before you plan to travel, which could impact its validity period. Given your course start date in February 2025, it’s advisable to lodge your visa application sometime between November and December 2024. This timing will align with the recommended 12-week window and ensure that your visa is processed smoothly. Be sure to keep an eye on the processing times for student visas as well, as these can vary, and apply as soon as you have all the required documentation ready. Hope this helps :)
Hey Priyanka! I hope you are doing great. Wanted to ask if whether you applied your visa through some Agent or all by yourself? If it was through some Agent then would you mind sharing the Company's name?
They did a very mediocre job, I went through Success Migration. I would suggest you do your own research before going with them or any other migration agency.
Yes, you can change campuses after arriving in Australia, but you need to ensure it complies with your visa conditions, get permission if needed, check the policies of both institutions, and consider financial and credit transfer implications.
