Concept, play as a dwarf, invest into the pickaxe, and have a stat spread that lets you throw the maximum amount of rocks.
Maybe try and go split int faith with staff of beyond so you can get the rock based grave sorceries AND the rock based beast sorceries.
Alternatively go no weapon, just rock spells and throwable rocks.
Alt version of this concept, run stone club with the ash of war that covers your weapon with rocks to be the ultimate stoner.

It's a worse version of the great club. More people should try the great club. It does massive stance damage and you can poise break bosses in like 2 strong attacks and best of all you can make up for the weak faith scaling on it by using a weapon enchantment like orders blaade or electrify armament. The only drawback is that you can't change the AoW.
