Largest Gathering of Bulleid Pacifics | Swanage Railway - Strictly Bulleid II - 08/6/24 & 09/6/24

From Friday 7th - Sunday 9th June 2024, the Swanage Railway held their highly anticipated Strictly Bulleid II event. This event saw the largest gathering of Bulleid Pacifics since 1967, with no less than 8 members of the class in service.
We were in attendance at this event, we attended on both the Saturday and the Sunday of the event. Me and dad both stayed in Bournemouth Travelodge, arriving there on Friday and staying til Monday 10/6/24, when we would return home. Unfortunately 34081 failed on the Saturday with firebox problems, so only got shots of it on the rear of the second train of the day, but I still managed to see all 8 locos, but only just.
This video contains footage filmed by myself and my dad, filmed on two different camcorders and a few shots filmed on my Huawei P20. The Saturday we spent much of the day at Corfe Castle national trust, and one shot was filmed at Swanage. The Sunday saw us spend most of the day at Norden, and later filmed by the bridge outside Woodyhyde camp site.

This was a truly unforgettable and amazing experience, and me and dad were both glad to have been able to attend. A big well done to everyone at the Swanage Railway for hosting this history making show. For me, this easily has to be the highlight of 2024.
