Am living vicariously through you gentlemen. I am an old guy who hunted with map and compass alone above the Arctic Circle many times. No GPS. No Satellite phone or beacons. No cell phone.. No range finder. Still photographs and memories. I had a constant conversation with God for weeks at a time. My heart races when you use the wind to stalk and get close ....that is real hunting ....the long range shooting of today is a distant second in my opinion. I learned to carry a roll of toilet paper to mark the kill site. Red flagging tape is a good idea after it snows....but try flagging in the fall , get back across the valley and look back and EVERYTHING is red and yellow !! :0) Today you use a cell phone ! I was a thirty year infantryman. Both ankles have now been replaced and I will never go up high again after sheep and goats but I am thankful to God he let me do that for many years. I have had many brushes with death to include alone with a grizzly over a moose kill....my RTO shot standing next to me....I do not know why I have been preserved but I know that HE IS GOD and do not want to be separated from him. ~Hutch
Favorite hunting channel by far. Especially when the hunts include Justin and his family. The sermon in this episode was so spot on. Digging back into my First Mile today!
I hunted Afognak for 10 days and hiking up into that constant alder brush was intense! Something you can only appreciate once its over and you're looking back on it.
I'm committing before the vid ends Justin! When Colton poors out endless blueberries out of a empty box of shot gun shells, that was just... Awesome!! Fish, Wolf, Ptarmigan, Moose.... and Alllll the other critters, harvested and seen... is so cool!!! God really runs through my heart at its fullest when I watch these vids like yours, and now I have the opportunity to do some hunts like it!! I love it!! Watching the rest now!! 😃
Epic moose, epic videography and editing! One of the best hunting films I've ever seen! I love how the opening and ending clips were the same; the opening was the teaser to keep watching, and the ending was the finale of an amazing hunt. Thanks for the Bible challenge as well, I needed that.
Congrats on an amazing hunt. My 9 year old and i love watching your adventures, and during this hunt he asked me "don't you want to hunt in Alaska dad?" I told him yes and he asked me how long I've wanted to and I told him apps 25 years. 2 seconds later you said the same thing. I'm glad you were able to make it happen for the rest of us. Congrats again
Out of all the videos I have watched your videos capture the real meaning of the outdoors and enjoyment of God's creation being so pure and so beautiful keep up his work and enjoy his creation.
Beautiful bull. Great cinema work too. Man I miss those colors up there. I do not miss 9-10 willow!! That gets your heart racing in grizzly country. Can’t afford to go back to alaska but I spend 3 wks solor in Montanas backcountry and I love the colors in sept whether I draw a tag or not. (Always have wolf tag either way in my pocket). I go to be closer to god and what god created so I can leave the madness of the city and reset and remember what’s important…..family, god and the mtns he gave us to rebuild ourselves when lives challenges tear us down. I need to work on my relationship with god in the city that’s for sure, but I’m not sure I could live without that time in the mtns alone with god and grizzly bears! There is no substitute on the planet in my book
Interesting pans on that bull! I killed one last season that had a pan sort of similar but the fold or “taco” was closed making it look like a Y from the back side. I refer to him as my drop pan bull haha
Great work guys! What bullet / round are you using? and what do you guys do to keep funding these adventures and enjoying God's creation in so many areas?
I was excited to see how accurate that point, (mark) you made on the app to where the dead moose was, but you did not comment on it after, or did I miss something?
Is this a drop camp hunt through an outfitter or just a DIY thing in a spot you guys picked? Would love to do a hunt like this with my dad and would like whatever info you could give. And what a hunt like this would cost a fella? Thanks. Really enjoy watching your hunting adventures.
Depends a lot on where you hunt out of and how far out you fly. A lot of the air taxis are over $1000 /hr so the farther out the more expensive. We’ve done it for as little as $3,500 per person and as much as $6k. That’s all in.
There are some units where it is meat on the rib cage. This unit is not one of them. Alaska is a difficult place to figure out with the various regulations, but we have combed through them extensively.
It’s amazing how thick the under growth is. What a awesome bull. Please pray for me. I was diagnosed with kidney disease yesterday. Between the congestive heart failure, diabetes and kidney disease I’m really struggling physically. I’m personally not scared of dying because I know I’m going home to heaven and I will have a new body and won’t be sick anymore. My mother is having a hard time accepting my diagnosis. She knows I’m going to pass on before she does and it scares her.
Congratulations on that magnificent bull, really enjoy your journey as you know this already, but really enjoy the words you preach that impact and make a difference to so many of us each day! Thank you guys love watching you brothers in your elements like me being with my brothers out there!!

Have you considered using a bow on some elk and moose hunts? Kinda the same hunt year after year from my perspective watching these. A lot of 400+ yard shots . . . Its a darn good honey hole you have going on. A lot of animals to choose from.
For sure! Used to do a lot of bow hunting but I just prefer rifle hunting now. I think this moose and one of my brothers elk are the only shots all year over 200 yards. Most were killed between 75 and 150. -Justin
Hahaha. I was wondering if you would answer that question. It’s like when people ask me where we were catching fish. “Out on the water.” 😂 Love your guys’ videos! God bless!
It was all fun on tell you take a beautiful creature life away for you own amusement is sad. The creature was having fun eating healthy grass injoy a beautiful day .and you disite to take the away from him. Why. are you hungry for meat or what is the reason.

That's a great bull. It definitely embodies the fulfillment of 25 years of dreaming about that animal.

I hunted Afognak for 10 days and hiking up into that constant alder brush was intense! Something you can only appreciate once its over and you're looking back on it.

No, but you have all sorts of other animals we don't have!

I was excited to see how accurate that point, (mark) you made on the app to where the dead moose was, but you did not comment on it after, or did I miss something?
It was after the message when the music started. It was dead on! So wild.
@@LimitlessOutdoors It was wild! Does that app utilize the maps and merge them with the photo somehow?
I'm taking a 340 Weatherby to hunt moose. There are big bears. A Nosler Accubond 300 gr. Bullet should take care of everything.
hell yes congrats what a TOAD love the uniqueness of the paddles one of a kind
Another awesome crazy video. Congratulations on the bull, he is a trophy for sure.

Great content, just one question I may be worng but I believe in Alaska you have to pack out the ribs
No, just all the rib meat. You do have to keep bone in on the legs though
@Limitless Outdoors from what I know the area's we hunt it has to stay on the bone
There are some units where it is meat on the rib cage. This unit is not one of them. Alaska is a difficult place to figure out with the various regulations, but we have combed through them extensively.
Awesome job guys. God is Awesome!!!

Well Was enjoying this until the sermon
Man...this guy rows a boat fast...wholly crap
Good hunting video...But God did not get you into shooting range of that moose...you're guide did.
We hunt by ourselves. No guides. God created everything including the moose and me so He definitely gets the glory on this one :-)

What caliber rifle. I would say a 300. It didn't seem to hit him that hard.
