- Renault Clio 2019 is New 5th generation of Clio. New Clio is made on B variant of CMF platform, front C shape LED lights are copied from bigger Megan brother and now come as standard in both packages.
New Clio is 30 mm lower than old model and has vents in front bumper, ahead of the front wheels. Both improve aerodynamics and bring down fuel consumption.
Engine
Clio will have few engine options including petrol; 1.0 liter with 90 HP, predicted (1.3 liter with 150 HP) and diesel 1.5 - 115 HP . Clio RS version might come with 1.8 turbocharged petrol some time in 2020. 5 speed manual transmission is standard and 6 speed automatic is available on diesel. Plug in hybrid will come some time in 2020.
Styling
In 5th generation of Clio, sports look is available as RS line package. Before it was reserved for RS models. There is also elegant model called Initiale Paris.
Regarding styling, new Clio can have alloy wheels up to 17 inch. You can chose 10 color options. You will be able to personalize the interior of car by choosing from eight design schemes, which change the colour of the centre console, door panels, steering wheel and arm rest.
Interior and technology
Inside all-new interior is less plastic, with more quality soft materials. It features 9 inch vertical center touch screen. On the bottom there are still convenient physical controls for AC with small digital displays. Interior now features ambient lights in 8 colours. While in front of driver you have 7 or 10 inch configurable digital cockpit.
New seats are more ergonomic and thinner, giving more knee space for passengers on back seat.There is also wireless phone charging and connection. Clio now it has electronic parking break, offering more space on the main bridge, gear lever is shorter and thanks to new multi-function steering wheel design, there is more knee room for driver.
Safety
Renault has also confirmed that the car will be offered with advanced driver assistance systems, meaning that the new Clio should be able to control its own acceleration, braking and steering on the highway and be able to park itself.
Space
In dimensions new Clio is biti wider but shorter and offers more space in class. Trunk space now offers 391 l of space, 26 l more than previous model. More than current VW Golf 7!
Clio is rivaling Audi A1, Ford Fiesta, Seat Ibiza, VW Polo. Well A1 by size, not price.
Price and release date:
Clio will arrive end of 2019. Prices are not available at moment.

For some reason in 2019 they still build cars with android tablets with 1GB Ram... man.. phones have 8gb already come on.. You pay 20k euros or whatever price for 1gb ram touchscreen LOL
yeah for me this also is somewhat mind boggling, I realise selling cars is business, but why not at least give buyers a chance to upgrade/choose better version displays, I wanna buy this car but I already feel annoyed by it's display having bought iPad pro 2018 model.
So for Renault modern and sexy means kinda slow in brain's department. Also makes one think, if company can't make their simpler economy cars balanced, why should you buy anything else from them?

"Renalt"? You sound European so would think you'd know how to say Renault, Ren-oh. And not all French cars have the stalk for the audio controls like that, it's mostly Renault. My Peugeot 208 GTi had them on the steering wheel and I've only seen that extra stalk on Renault's . Also what's "Bosay" speakers? Do you mean Bose? Or have they gone with Focal speakers which is an option on the 2018 Clio, a very well worth it upgrade. Sounds absolutely amazing, kills the Bose 10 speaker system in our Megane.
In Croatian we say Reno so... I have problem pronouncing Bose as I always mistake it for "Boss" haha sorry.

Truly great videos, just your English was absolutely perfect, you sound Canadian like me, so didn't know if it indeed was maybe some new speaker partnership was all. Was just clarifying if it was Bose or something else! Keep up the videos, just great. Your video is making me go get this new Mk 4 Clio RS when we get it here in Oz. Amazingly beautiful cars, and the tech for the price. A great runaround in Sydney, that would be fun to toss around and I'm not paranoid if someone drives through our narrow streets and knocks off a wing mirror or dents the doors, or I kerb the wheels. Not saying it's not a big deal, but less so than if I spent a few hundred thousand Euros on a car for everyday driving!

French cars very attractive but, not good for those who keep a vehicle long term. Weak electrics make Renault an unreliable brand. My niece bought an eight year old Clio and she is pleased with how it looks and then asked if I know how to fix electric windows. Lease for three years would be favourable.
My Mégane2 works fine yes electronics can break but i must say parts etc.. are cheap for Renault and my car atleast doesn't rust as some german cars do
@@techderaudios Well pointed out and I agree on both points. French manufacturers seem to favour zinc based primers that can be sprayed prior to the weld process. Thus, both sides of folded sheet metal can be treated and this stops the rust from forming inside and working its way outwards.

FRENCH cars is the most reliable in Europe. All French cars have better reliabilty than Bmw and VW its a fact. All French cars have 10/10 in reliabilty, BMW is n°9 and VW n°11 when Renault is n°4 and Peugeot n°3
