Wow....tears to my eyes. Being a full blooded Saffa, and knowing the true meaning of the original song by Bok van Blerk, this just blew me away. I am an Paarl Gim old boy...Class of 1985, and it just blew my mind, seeing the new generation being so patriotic, passionate and dedicated, not only to their beloved school and Alma Mater, but also to what the true meaning of Bok's original means to us all. @@janrobertbos That was my school, and I am proud of it. I did 4 years, including my final year there. Btw, I am Dutch born... Rotterdam. I went over to South Africa at the age of 8. I guess I pretty much grew up South African. Still have my family in NL. I am living in London now...but missing SA terribly... just the lifestyle and passion.
