- I visit George Michael's grave and his forgotten Hampstead bungalow where a super fan lived under his house and was arrested. I also visit his 6th form school where they have a blue heritage plaque in his honour.

Totally remember George's home in Hampstead back in the early and mid 90's driving around Hampstead myself and my best friend looking for his home. Still never found it. I absolutely loved him and still do but i was never obsessive i always gave him the respect. In the couple of times i met him. Lovely and kind man , true gentleman. RIP ❤

There was a sign on the corner of the grave, "No Photography" However I do have a lot of respect for the man and his memory a philanthropist who gave heavily to charity and without any sort of publicity in contrast to many celebrities.May he rest in peace.

If that's true then it's absolutely rediculous as everyone visiting there for a nice quiet walk about is going to take photos & video footage. 🙄💁

Such a tragic loss of creative talent.So glad to have seen George live in concert in Sydney,February 2010.Wonderful memories of Wham and the mid eighties intertwined.And George Michael as a solo artist shone in the 90's and beyond.Inimitable,and so talented,unique,and sadly missed.RIP George.

I saw WHAM as a kid in Portland, Oregon and I'll never forget that amazing concert. I later saw George when he was solo. I'm so grateful I was able to see him live twice.
It's been many years but his passing still doesn't seem real.
God rest his soul. He was a truely amazing artist and person that is gone far too soon.
He was a beautiful looking man I loved him and his songs taken to soon gone never forgotten. Loved forever❤

George was a regular visitor to my home here in Devon.
He was totally at ease here and no one knew of his Frequent stays.
One of the few places George was totally himself in peace quiet and privacy.

The heart was put there by his cousin Alex, who lived in his Highgrove house after George’s death with David and others and looked after George’s dog until her death. Alex is a friend of mine. He goes up to the grave when it’s early as he can get in out of hours as he’s family. A fox often joins him as it’s very quiet then.
I went up last before the extra stones were put in but I must go again. I sit on the bench where Alex sits and spend some time.
He had two dogs when i carried out work for him.
They used to sit in front of the radio and wouldn't move until George finished his interview with whoever.

Still very sad, a humble soul who helped others in need, this is "unfortunately" a lesson 2 try 2 live the best contented life we can, we look at people who have money, fame & all the trappings that goes with "stardom" & it doesn't mean anything in the grand scale of things, we should b grateful for a roof over our heads + food on the table but more importantly 2 b surrounded with love from family + friends, I also like most KEEP forgetting this, may his soul b at peace with his loved 1's on the other side

I was there in 2018, in these places and also in Goring.
Good video of where George lived and where he is buried. I was not a big fan of George i am of the older generation but he was a good singer and very handsome, Sad how it all ended for him.

I remember the photo of his home from the 80s pop magazines. It used to be called a name that had the word "ash" in it, (ash terrace?) but I can't recall properly. Thank you for this video, I hope he is at peace wherever he is.
Its called Weeping Ash in Oak Hill, Hamstead. He was regularly seen in the area driving a blue convertible Mercedes or a black 80s range rover. Then he obviously moved to Highgate. Which is only a few miles from there.

I did the tour at Highgate cemetery. The guide mentioned Mr Michael, but he said it was in a location that had been 'kept quiet'. Although that was about a year after he was laid to rest. Very spooky place with lots of interesting people buried in it. I took my camera to see if I could get any ghost pics but despite being fully charged the battery went flat as I pulled it out in one of the tombs! Spooky!
George would also would give money anonymously to people in need, may he RIP.

She died if natural causes (type of diabetes)
Melanie died from Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Ill health. George's mother was born on Christmas day, and sadly, George and Melanie died on that same day.

she died
She died Christmas Day 2019 of diabetic ketoacidosis.
I read she became morbidly obese and sadly died from related health conditions.
She died from diabetes related illness.
If she was in a diabetic coma, I don't think she knew it was Christmas Day.
