I felt like CRYING when the general held the other soldier by his jacket and told him NOT to cry, now that is LEADERSHIP & LOVE put together in had times, imagine the parents of those guys watching this videos??. And U got some lazy asses politicians who seat in office n play politics with this guys lives.
They deserve to be used like used car sales. When the citizens protest for change in favour of everybody, these same useless soldiers obey them, when sent against us.

US army, UK, and all other powerful countries get ambushed by talibans all the time and they are fond to fight with air support and all sort of technology. Nigeria is really not a country and from now on Nigerians should not call themselves giant of Africa cos it's a shame. I'm so heartbroken by watching this commander and his soldiers in this situation. A country call herself the giant of Africa with Africa's largest economy and can not provide ammunition and logistics to her armed forces to fight boko haram. Just look at how a whole soldier is crying and the general trying to calm them down and encourage them to fight at the point of death. All their vehicles are broken down. Nigerians who go round social and boasting of their country should bow in shame because i have now seen that your country is just a useless country. May God protect the generals and their men at the frontlines.

Boko Haram don't have air force.Why the Nigerian airforce don't use helicopter gunships and jets to support the men on the ground in such a way that the enemy will be on the run
Not as easy as that. Air support is an advantage but then helicopters can be brought down. Apart from the loss of lives of the well trained pilots, money used to purchase the helicopters is also lost. The Agusta Westland AW109 for example without any customization and armouring could cost over 2 billion naira.
I honestly feel we need better weapons for the ground troops in this stage. The terrain looks bad. Armoured vehicles with tread are much suited (solves the problem of changing tyres often).
In all, war is never as easy as most of us see it. God bless our troops

I share your sentimentd.The way some of the soldiers behave when they are advantaged against civilians they should protect could kill ones sympathy for them. But some of the soldiers are nice and gentlemanly on civilians. We should still pray and support them for the sake of these ones

Your suggestion is unrealistic. Would a soldier killing buratai solve the problem? The soldier would just be killed and another "buratai" would be appointed. Those who tried to attack their commander for pushing them to fight against Boko Haram with bad weapons and those who just refused to fight were court martialed and sentenced to death and are awaiting execution now. It's not as easy as that.
