I'm not a big fan of Stefan cassadine but he did put Tony in his place and it is one of the few times I actually agree with Stefan. Tony cheated on his wife and then tried to control who she's friends with what an idiot
What bothers me about some of this is that Bobbie never once seemed to consider that Cassadine was heavily stalking her. Vulnerable is not something a Spencer is prone to being, yet they made her beyond vulnerable to the point of lacking intelligence about what was really happening. But it did add a nice twist to the "Twist of Fate" storyline!
Except Bobbie had always been prone to being blind when it comes to men. Plus, she was a schemer, but I don't think she was particularly clever. That was Luke. Of the three Spencers, Luke, Ruby and Bobbie, Bobbie was always the one most vulnerable to being easily manipulated especially by a man. Constantly looking for love and approval from a man. (Which makes complete sense given she had an abusive father and then forced into prostitution at such a young age.) Tony was probably the first (and perhaps only) truly decent guy she had a relationship with. And it was probably her longest. Up till his storyline with Carly. He was old reliable Tony. Her being thrown by his affair, immediately followed by learning Carly was her daughter who was not dead AND that Luke had lied about it, it makes sense that she was was a bit of an emotional wreck who was oblivious to Stefan's true motives. Everyone she did trust had lied to her. He was the only one to appear sincere. So she took him at face value. She's human and sometimes, when everything else is going wrong, we gravitate to the one thing that's feels nice. Plus, part of her gravitating to Stefan was also to get back at Tony. Again, perfectly normal for a woman cheated on. She and Stefan weren't together that long. So she did come to her senses fairly quickly.
What is the twist of fate story? I searched yt & brenda & sonny came up. I've been watching these cassadine clips the whole week. Are they in this playlist ?
@@natalieps2387 Keep watching. It will come up. Since you don't know what it is, I am not going to spoil it for you. When you get to it, comment away on one of my comments and tell me what you think! It's one of my favorite storylines.
@@GaelinW Great assessment! I agree with everything you've written. I just felt at the time that Bobbi had her fair share of men and should be able to spot a con job a mile away. But, you are correct - she wasn't as strong or sharp as Luke or Ruby, and she had been used by men her whole life, so Stefan capitalized on that.
I miss this era of GH, before Guza tuned it into Sonny Hospital, and turned the character of Sonny from grey mobster, to white washed narcissistic "Saint".
Naomi G. Davis yes he was hot indeed I loved his comment about Helena a viper from hell Valentin called her a pit viper as well Helena was only loved by her golden boy Stavros
@@bethstreich6565 I don't think even Stavros loved her--Laura said he called her a she-wolf or something similar lol. She was obsessed with him, but he probably had as much contempt for her as the rest of them.
Sizzling hot! I loved Stefan and Bobbie together! Their scenes here were straight fire! There was something so primal between them and Jackie Z comes across almost feral with him.
@@DarlingNikki2 - He does. I've been re-watching the Stavros "rises from the dead" episodes, Stavros has just as much contempt for Helena as Stefan does. It's just that his doesn't come from anger as Stefan's does so Stavros is able to hide/coat his contempt in sweetness, for lack of a better description. Which Helena either can't see or ignores because Stavros is her favorite. It's interesting to watch how well RKK plays it. Helena is like a gnat that Stavros only tolerates because she is useful. From those episodes, it shows that Stavros can be just as much a master manipulator as Stefan, even of his mother. It would have been such an interesting story line to see how all the Cassadines interacted longterm rather than just as a crutch for AG to chew scenery over.
@Tanisha Mcclendon - That was late 90s, after Katherine died for real. Helena did know. She is the one who changed the original records that showed Stefan was Nikolas's father. Stefan and Laura had always thought/hoped so (yet another stupid storyline - what grown woman having sex with multiple men KNOWS who the father is??!!?). They took a DNA test in the late 90s. I can't remember why. But Helena had the records falsified. I think she wanted control of the Cassadine money. They took a second test around about 2000 - again, I don't remember what prompted it. It showed Stavros was Nikolas's father.
Yet another rewriting of reality for the drama. I hate when they do that. Coming from a family with an important lineage, Stefan would know that marriages were business arrangements. Mistresses were for love/lust. So his shock at someone being in love with his mistress is plain dumb. Thoiugh, it wad probably for Bobbie's sake.
Ahhhh, but Stefan isn't American. Stefan is a Cassadine, and yes, their marriages are more for convenience (or torture, if you're Stavros), but in America, men fall in love with their mistresses. This is not a Cassadine concept, so it's difficult for Stefan to understand.
@@betsykeller9096 - Stefan's own father loved his mistress more than his wife. So it is a Cassadine concept. That's my point. It isn't an American thing. Royal/wealth history, European and otherwise, going back millenia, is full of stories of kings and other aristocracy loving their mistresses over their wives. That Stefan would be shocked by the concept - a guy who revels in his history and lineage - doesn't make sense. Only way it makes sense is he said it to seduce Bobbie.
I hated what Tony did to Bobbie but I always liked Tony. I wish they ended up together. It’s not like Bobbie didn’t cheat on him. Two wrongs don’t make a right though and his attitude like he was the wronged party in this was just irritating. This wasn’t Tony at all.
Tyler's acting during this period was just really good. Just made this whole storyline work.
RIP to that talented man
I love how stefan cassadine put Tony in his place at the beginning of this clip he was absolutely right
Yep, he told Tony!
LuLu was just not going to let Luke get that line in and he finally gave up and went with the bell ringing. 😂😂
Wow! The Elton John song really got to me personally 😢
I loved stefan giving it to tony. I agreed with every word he said. I find it funny stefan is playing computer games with lucky a kid lol
I think the little girl pointed and said, "It's gonna ring". LOL! Tony was able to just work through it. Love it.
Lol!........what is Luke doing with egg at 5:43, it now has a base?? It reminds me of the ice princess, did he put something inside?
@@lynnmoore7029 Keep watching. That's the best thing I can tell you without spoiling it.
Luke and Lulu are precious together. ❤ They adore each other for real. 😊

Tony: who do you think you’re talking to?
Stefan: A middle aged American male in the throws of a stereotypical fling
Lmaooooooo he read him
I’m giggling at these recent scenes of Laura and Luke pretending to fight in public.
Awww the original Emily. Amber Tamblyn is just 13 years old here!

Oh yes you said it!!!!
Sonny destroyed this show with his toxic masculinity.
@@DeepScreenAnalysis Yeah, they talk about his bipolar disorder, but not his narcissistic personality disorder, and insane double standards.
Sonny was interesting in the beginning but then became one dimensional and annoying.
