Such an unfrequented swing
But today moved by wind
He always repeat the exhort
Just one time
一声声
Forget it,forget it
He complains to me about my hatred
Just one time
一声声
Really hard, really hard
Couldn't forget, couldn't forget
Couldn't forget the end of spring
Couldn't forget the aging of flowers
Couldn't forget the feeling of farewell
Also couldn't forget the suffer of missing you
@QaibKhmer The original singer is Gu Mei
Many covers after this original. Check out the Two covers that I like ua-cam.com/video/EilSWNvMoZM/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/JY8sLLV8BcM/v-deo.html. Let me know what you think. There are other equally touching Mandarin Songs.
good job
The song with the tune that played in my mind forever again and again for five decades, without understanding a SINGLE mandarine word. But thanks to UA-cam, now I understand seen the video and song.
You are not alone. It's such a memorable song, artist and movie.

Can’t forget
Can’t forget
Can’t forget your faults
Can’t forget the good you do
Can’t forget the our walk in the rain
Nor can I forget our embrace in the wind
Can’t forget
Can’t forget
Can’t forget your tears
Can’t forget your laughter
Can’t forget the melancholy of falling leaves
Nor can I forget the sorrow of blooming flowers
In the long and narrow lane
There shines the slanting light of a clear moon
The deserted swing sways gently in the wind
It repeats your urging
Over and over again
"Forget it, forget it"
It seems to say the words from my heart
Over and over again
"I can't forget, I can't forget"
Can’t forget
Can’t forget
Can’t forget that spring has ended
Nor can I forget that the flower has faded
Can’t forget the feeling of parting
Nor can I forget the sadness of missing a lover
@@RaymondHng from the lyrics, one will guess the song title is Can't Forget but it's Love Without End. Brilliantly classic!!
I like it 😁
❤️💜❤️
Yes
Best legendary chinese classic song!.....from malaysia......
Piękna muzyka i glos ❤️dziękuję Piotr z Polski 😍😘

One of grandma’s favorite song and artist, now I understand why.

Excellent with English translation. Beautiful.
Lin Dai , the most talented star of the past century, so tragic that her life cut short so early
Classic song, classic voice and classic legend
My translation(tried to make it easier to sing in English):
I will never, ever forget,
won't forget the fault you made,
I won't forget your sweetness,
won't forget the strolls in the rainy days,
and the embraces in the windy days.
I'll never, ever forget,
won't forget the tears in your face,
I won't forget your smiles,
won't forget the melancholy of the fallen leaves,
and the troubles along with the blooming flowers.
The long lane of emptiness,
is shinning under the bright moon,
the desolated swing,
is joggling with the wind,
repeating your exhort,
over and over,
"forget it, forget it."
and whispering my feelings,
over and over,
"really hard, really hard."
I will never, ever forget,
won't forget the ending of the spring,
won't forget the aging of flowers,
won't forget the sadness of farewell,
won't forget the pain of the lovesickness.
Wow Greg, thank you for the english translation. Appreciate. Never understood a words except "wang pu liow', heard this during my childhood, repeatedly played on the radio of my late mum.
it is actually "i cant forget" (b/c she wants to forget)
Greg Chen great
