As a Liverpool supporter, how much longer do we give Nunez to see if he can improve his goal rate? Im not sure if a lot remeber last season, but he did win us that game at Newcastle, but he missed a LOT of big chances and i felt like the rest of the team was feeling it to and other players were missing more also and i reckon it cost us the Title with 10 games to go.

@virupakshawalla5734 well when your constantly missing big chances in games, do you think that has no effect at all on the others? The game where Liverpool played United at Anfield, Liverpool had over 30 shots in the game (it was in the mid 30s) and they had many big chances and the score was 0-0. Then they out played City at home and had the most dominant display in the 2nd half against them and many big chances and couldn't score. Thst game ended in a draw. Then they played Palace and had 4 BIG chances where they should have scored at least 3 and they scored none. The momentum was against them and the goal drought was real and when your Striker isn't scoring goals and missing easy chances (he was purchased for 80 million to score goals not to be aggressive and thats it) it really can put the whole team in a downward spiral. He is also starting to do it again the last few games and other players are starting to miss easy chances also.
Craig is WRONG. Diaz was on his way to shoot but wiped out from behind. Ever since i was a kid, we were told you cant tackle from behind... UNLESS you get the ball cleanly. that dude was miles off.
This is for Craig, look at the video again, after the boot came Diaz tried to plan his foot and shoot but because he only had the sock on his plant foot he slipped and was not able to complete the shooting process. So it is not the stepping on the back of the foot alone it was also stopping Diaz from being able to complete the action of shooting. Try harder.
I’ve always found it easy to root for Nunez because he’s so hard working, selfless with his team first attitude, constantly presses opponents back lines, links up play at a high level, and is consistently creating opportunities for both himself and his teammates. But his consistent inability to put the ball in the back of the net cannot be ignored anymore by even his most ardent supporters. With Jota set to return from injury very soon, I’m afraid Nunez missed a golden opportunity to cement himself as the number 1 striker for Liverpool. The only thing going for him is that Jota, as clinical as he is, is far too injury prone. Which means Nunez will very likely get another extended run leading the line at some point again this season. But between Nunez’s inability to finish and Jota far too often injured, Liverpool need to be in the market for another striker.
Also Diaz may be brilliant on his day but he is inconsistent in getting among the goals and assists. Gakpo, Jota and Salah can get the numbers, I.e. goals and assists. So maybe Diaz should be replaced as well. I mean at the end of the day a forward is measured on Goals, Assists and Chances created. Come end of the season I'm highly confident Diaz won't be in the top 80% percentile when comparing all forwards in Europe based on these key factors. His numbers are not good enough for Liverpool and Darwin is also inconsistent. So if we get Gyokeres and Omar Marmoush to replace Nunez and Diaz then that's lights out. Deadliest attack in Europe, while keeping Jota, Salah and Gakpo.
@@Cariss625 Díaz has actually been more ruthless this season with 9 goals and 2 assists already. And he drew the penalty today that Salah converted. But I take your point. The biggest issue I have with Díaz is he never uses his left foot. He creates separation on his left side but always drags it back to his right foot. Unlike Salah who frequently uses his weaker right foot to get in crosses and shots when the separation is created. Gakpo also very rarely uses his left foot but he’s much more direct than Díaz with his shooting. Díaz is a bit too much of a show pony for me. Although he is bagging more goals this year.
@bobyy6557 Because I enjoy it. And I enjoy discussing football with others. Banter away all you like with other folks. I prefer actually fleshing out ideas with those that like to break down teams, players, and coaches. To each their own and you do you.
@@PhotosoflifeMy point is Diaz can die of and go 5-6 games without any goal contribution. It has happened for his liverpool career. Gakpo is more consistent. And there are others out there who are. So replacing Nunez and Diaz with more consistent goal contribution forwards would make Liverpools attack a true force to be reckoned with.
what are you saying about the penalty... are these commentators real? He also went through diaz in a very clumsy tackle even if they didn't call the stepping on the boot portion on the foul
I am a Liverpool fan and I still do not know what Klopp bought Darwin for. No composure. Link up play is poor. No ball retention skill. For all the greatness that he was at Liverpool, Klopp has to admit that he bought a wrong one this time round. Liverpool needs to right the wrong immediately. Sell him off and take him someone else who can play the style Slot wants. A controlled game. Someone who can hold the ball when defender is on his back. Someone who can score as well as lay off for someone else to score.
@ What contribution? $85m to play on the left? Under the pecking order of Diaz and Gakpo? If that was the case, ‘brilliant’ transfer wasn’t it? 85m who can only plays on the left when Diaz and Gakpo are not available. What kind of business sense was this? Your big picture is really shallow… when our better striker Jota is out, Darwin can’t do the job. He also can’t play a better left wing than Diaz or Gakpo. Why do we keep such an inefficient player? Konate is stronger on defense, but he is not better in the attacking phase than Gomez.
Salah is INEVITABLE. 👑
I dont wanna hear anything about doubts in this team or this manager. we are amazing rn
We were definitely not amazing in this game or last week.
Idk man ya'll have been definitely slowing down..
That was obviously a penalty
Don't care what anyone say's . The referee gave a penalty, Mo scored, we won...end of. We move on and confirm a top 8 spot in January.
Luis Garcia once a red
on that penalty, didn't van de beek's right leg knocked diaz down?
Craig just NNNEEEEDS to create drama
As a Liverpool supporter, how much longer do we give Nunez to see if he can improve his goal rate? I think everyone loves his work rate and how much he tries, but how long do we give him to just be a good worker on the pitch? Im not sure if a lot remeber last season, but he did win us that game at Newcastle, but he missed a LOT of big chances and i felt like the rest of the team was feeling it to and other players were missing more also and i reckon it cost us the Title with 10 games to go.
Rubbish. He can't fall off with his scoring to chances rate. Thats impossible 😢😂. So how does he lose it for Liverpool team by the far the best.
@virupakshawalla5734 you probably don't even support Liverpool mate and didn't watch every full game like I did.
@@johnmiceter injuries and emotional burn out lost Livthe league. And no I don't support them lol. But a team winning with somein it only stat worth looking at. I would not give a flying fook if my striker doesn't score a goal all season if we win league. Fermino was different but examof scoring aint everything. Nunes roughs folk up, changes momentum and puts folk on back foot. Jota injury you might blame but Nunes is very useful player to have in squad
Try harder.
Everyone forgets Chelsea developed Mo. his successes should be attributed to us too 😂😂
These pundits are jealous about Liverpool beating their favorite Real Madrid
Why are u writing essays in the comment section everywhere?
@bobyy6557
Because I enjoy it.
Girona's crowd absolutely toxic btw, support your team for cripes' sake.
what are you saying about the penalty... are these commentators real? He also went through diaz in a very clumsy tackle even if they didn't call the stepping on the boot portion on the foul
How's donny van de beek bein doing for girona this season?
I am a Liverpool fan and I still do not know what Klopp bought Darwin for. No composure. Link up play is poor. No ball retention skill.
For all the greatness that he was at Liverpool, Klopp has to admit that he bought a wrong one this time round.
Liverpool needs to right the wrong immediately. Sell him off and take him someone else who can play the style Slot wants. A controlled game. Someone who can hold the ball when defender is on his back. Someone who can score as well as lay off for someone else to score.
Look at the big picture, remember Nunez is left winger ,look at the contribution he makes on the attack
@
What contribution? $85m to play on the left? Under the pecking order of Diaz and Gakpo?
If that was the case, ‘brilliant’ transfer wasn’t it? 85m who can only plays on the left when Diaz and Gakpo are not available. What kind of business sense was this?
Your big picture is really shallow… when our better striker Jota is out, Darwin can’t do the job. He also can’t play a better left wing than Diaz or Gakpo. Why do we keep such an inefficient player? Get a genuine no. 9 rather than keeping 3 left wingers… right?
At times players weren't passing to him
Craig, yes it was a penalty! clear as daylight!
Girona deserved more credit
Mr Craig what about the second penalty Chelsea get it versus spurs
If Jota is still out at the weekend Diaz must play up front. If not could Endo play there or the tea lady?
Craigs hating because he said Liverpool would not challenge City or Arsenal because we are not as good as them
So now his hate has intensified because we are making him out to look what he is - A 🤡
I have heard more excuses for Nunez than I have ever heard for any other LFC forward. This guy is awful. He is worse than Carol, Benteke, Hi Heskey, Diouf , and Morientes . . Yet his "fanboys" keep making excuses for him. I cannot wait until Nunez leaves LFC. He is too inconsistent at this level to make it. His G/A is terrible. Well done Benfica you scammed us well for that 85m
how do you know, contact is contact its unamgiguous
Oh, Burley, have a day off 😂 Clear as day penalty
Craig dont like liverpool doing well its that simple .
Unpopular opinion but id take garcia at his age back at liverpool over darwin
What was your favorite Luis Garcia - Liverpool moment? 👀
@ESPNFC ghost goal 👀 without a doubt, still the most controversial thing to happen
Craig Burley barely says anything good about Liverpool.Hes a grumpy ageing man whos losing his ability to be objective. Absolute nonsense about his take on the penalty. Is he deluded??? Come on ignoramus Mr Burley, common sense dictates that Diaz was about to take a shot with his right leg when the defender stamped on his left boot thereby putting him off balance. VAR got it right, THIS TIME🤣
Craig is no negative common seeing only the bad of everything
The player about to shoot was impeded. Its in the rules muppet.
What is Craig saying?! he needs to start wearing glasses
Dan is so ILLITERATE as a PUNDIT/MUPPET 😂😂😂
100% a penalty. So clumsy
Am a lfc fan that was not a pen
If it was his team he would be raving about the refs decision. Stop whining. We won. Onto the next game.
Hii
What is the name of these round neck shirts won by Luis and Craig?
let me guess soft penalties again? just like saka 😂😂
Nunez won't last. Missing too many chances..
luis garcia talks in run on sentences lol
Girona played better
Mo salah mo salah running the way wing, la la la la the Egyptian king he shot his bow now give he his dough
Craig needs to stay off the glue sniffing.
Graig is a clown 🤡.
Burley wake up man what rubbish re you talking...the whole challenge was terrible.
Craing burnley is a hypocrite always talking nonsense that a penalty
Burley and Nicol must be the dullest and least informative commentators on UA-cam
Penaltyyyy always
Thank you Craig.
😂😂😂😂
Crag kinda has a point, just because your boots fall off doesn't necessary mean there was contact
I stand with Nunez like I did with jones these fans are crazy and overreact for everything
Nunez is very very very disappointing , ha has been since day one . A total failure . When he's not offside .
Salah and palmer penalty God 🤣
Liverpool got outplayed by a TRUE mid-table Spanish side..The only reason they outperformed Madrid is becuz Madrid don't have Spanish players except Carvajal
Fran Garcia, Lucas Vasquez both Spanish
@sajedchreim7118 Yeah definite starters 👍🤡
@@Yamal_TheNewKing you’re argument is poor. Madrid struggled with girona too this weekend managing a 2-0 win, it’s reasonable to believe that a lot of preparation was put into this game and the players were more focused and dialed in. Trying to say Liverpool struggle against true Spanish teams because they played 1 game where they struggled is crazy logic on your part my g🤡
Unless it’s penalty or a VAR ball call or the Refs help
Liverpool can’t win fair n square
Not 2 mention all their easy breezy fixtures so far n no real big club or opposition especially away/not in their Anfield
Tell me 1 big team or top 5 in EU they beat away from Liverpool…Here’s ur answer 4U
N⚽️NE‼️🙄
@@blueshadow62 Milan and Leipzig. In previous seasons Liverpool beat just about every team away even apart from Sevilla and Madrid. U a hater that does not make sense. How can a team fluke an entire season. That's dumb. A penalty is a penalty if the exact same thing happened to the team you support and no penalty was given I am 100% certain you will be arguing how the penalty should be given. Just another biased fan. They thrashed Bayern 3-1 at their home ground. 2-0 against Inter Milan. Overall Nobody apart from Madrid could stop Liverpool in Europe under Klopp. Even the Madrid vs Liverpool games go check the stats, apart from the Bernabau 1-0 loss Liverpool outplayed Madrid creating more chances. Easy breezy fixtures Brighton 2wice, Man Utd, Leverkusen, Leipzig, AC Milan, Real Madrid, Man City Arsenal, Chelsea. You must be mental as they passed all the tests. A team cannot win 4 and 5 nil every game. Liverpool is the best team in Europe at this moment. Top of EPL and top of UCL table. 540 minutes without conceding a goal in Europe while playing AC Milan, Bologna, Leipzig, Leverkusen, Madrid and Girona. No other team has done this. One game is a fluke not 6. Stop being a hater. Give credit where credit is due. Won't you hate it if your team is the best playing team in Europe but others are saying this. Take yourself out of the boots of based eyes and see the situation. Every fan believes they are robbed by VAR and others are gaining. If this is true then VAR obviously will help one team but not the other. You fail to look at instances where VAR helped your team. Clear cut Diaz Goal at Tottenham, VAR helped arsenal when Odegard played handball in the box or what about putting a blatant boot on a players Chest like the way Doku did on Macca and no penalty was given. THINK. Var helps just as much as it robbs. Teams. I can give you instances of both.
A team staying top for almost a month in two different leagues in a halfway stage of a season is still considered lucky?😂...but neways stop being so jealous nd hateful..if Liverpool wins the trophies u might end up in a hospital bed or perhaps a mental asylum😂
@@vjmarshal130 Beat the German and Spanish champions in the CL. Beat the English champions in the PL. Tally was 8 goals to 0. "Still have not played anyone yet" apparently.
Dan, so disappointing you don't mention the fake pen. Done with your show., it's been losing edge for months Goodbye! Craig, start your own football vlog where you can speak some truth. I will watch and so will millions more.
Another SCRATCHY win. MEDIA way OTT on em. SLIPPY TIMES A COMIN
They got a fake penalty..but Don't worry, but LiVARpool fans will turn around and cry victim tears..
Merseyside Victim crybabies
Yeah we leave the 4-0 scorelines for the bigger boys like what we did to Barca and Leverkusen. Also, Real Madrids 1st attempt on target was in the 92nd min against Liverpool recently. Not every game is won 4-0 and 5-0. Even your beloved team has those scrapper days. That's a sign of a big team. Even though they aren't playing at their best they grind out a result. Unlike barca who could not register a shot on target against 11th placed Sociedad. Liverpool will never and has never in the past 8-9 years played a team and not registered a shot on target in a match. Pathetic from barca.
who are the one's crying seems like its you derpy derp
That was not a penalty. Luis Diaz slipped.
Girona was robbed a point
