So true brother. I was 19 when this movie came out. My ex boyfriend was a homie. He was white but got along with my brother and friends. He was the first guy I ever dated and this was the movie we saw. We're 42 these days. We parted ways years ago though.

also, while dancing can be almost equivalent to sex in some ways, i'll add that being trashy on the dance floor is so fucking PLAYED now

Julia is using a double in the main of scenes. She does not have a true ballerina's shape at all

I love love love Julia Stiles. But this movie needed an actual dancer. OR a better director! All those scenes with actual dancers in the background standing on their tippy toes while Julia is trying her best to stay on the balls of her feet, are cringe-worthy! 😅
Why would you create a video talking about her crazy moves then turn around and click bait by having "the black chic" "quash" this shit and Derek fall for it. Julia walks off and he allows it. "Ain't nobody watching.....but, they were.
