We disagree with you on the radio control. We Renault enthusiasts prefer the controls there and can be used with the steering upside down. Really get over the control stalk. You don't have to see the stalk it's intuitive. You keep the eyes on the road. It's clear you rarely drive Renaults. My clio ii had it, my Mégane iii, and all other la régie's cars

Thanks for the comments, it's all a matter of opinion and personal taste

As soon as you get your brain around it, which does not take long, you understand the logic behind it. It actually makes more sense than putting them on the steering wheel, as you sometimes still take your eyes of the road to look for the button on the steering wheel. The journalist should spend more time with it and also try to understand the reasoning for doing it in a more clever way than the rest. It seems that some people just don't get it though... and all cars have key fobs...

Your mic volume is a bit low, most good sir.

But I must say, the Clio 5 when sitting in the car is quite a nice place to be in.

I hope with the facelift Clio they will add the 6 speed gearbox like you get on the third generation Dacia Sandero(all Sandero Turbo models that we don't get here gets the 6 speed gearbox as standard)

In your opinion is it worth trading in my 2018 GT line for the Clio Intense model? Basically going from 1.2ltre 88kw 190Nm on Gt line to 74kw 160Nm. Seems like a downgrade in speed. Just worried that the Intense would be lacking in power and its only 5 gears. Would love all the latest tech but would have serious regret if my pull away power is significantly reduced, especially when wanting to wuickly overtake.

They should have let rear lights led daytime running lights as they did the Megane iv. Or atleast allow for the rear drl to be activated by choice

It’s Auto Brake/ Hill Start Assist not Auto Start/Stop

The volume behind the steering wheel is just stupid.

As soon as you get your brain around it, it actually works better than buttons on the steering wheel and it makes alot of sense for it being stationary, rather than buttons moving with the steering wheel. You just need your brain to adjust to it. You memorise the use of the buttons to use them correctly without seeing the buttons, as they are stationary and not moving with the steering wheel.
