I’m pretty new to rug hooking and I have a question for you. I have a winter pattern that has snowflakes on it. The snowflakes are shaped like asterisks * How do I hook these? Do I hook a straight line then shorter lines with stops and starts in the middle and ends? Thank you for your help. I’m enjoying your videos and learning a lot.
Cheryl you can hook them in V's or just small straight lines

I was going to order labels but decided not to, but if I had seen the pretty labels you show on this video, I would have :) I also didn't see the bakelite hooks. The crochet hook has a different shape hook and tears the wool
