The amount of control we had over the parkour system in AC1 and 2 really makes me appreciate the older games more. For example I completely forgot how you can run up a wall to reach a higher platform to jump on to like you showed 0:29 things like that show much the series has "devolved"
As a parkour enjoyer in assassin's creed (exploiting the mechanics, finding all the fancy animations possible, learnings odd inputs etc) I appreciated the quality of your video which is unmatched compare to all other parkour comparaison vids ! Great work man
Hi, I’ve been thinking of getting an assassin’s creed game (coming from the far cry franchise) Is there any one that you’d specifically recommend to try out? Side note: my video game experience is very little. So far I’ve played minecraft, brawlhalla, farcry 3, 5 and primal
Controlled descents in unity and syndicate? The spinning parkour down from a pole to a wall? Those animations were quite good. You should add those as the parkour down system was implemented in ac unity first. It was a new great addition for the parkour moveset.
I don't know why but AC Mirage Parkour feels like the Developers increased gravitational force from 9.8m/s^2 to 19.6m/s^2.😂 It feels like basim is about to break his leg if he is not careful enough while doing Parkour moves.
Bro this vid reminded me how good ezios trilogy rlly was. The parkour felt so engaging and it felt impactful. It made you feel like h were actually accomplishing something because you had full control of your movement. Something that i rlly miss ab it is being able to wall run up and then wall eject sideways or backwards to reach abother ledge. Ac unity had cool animation but the lack of freedom of movement is what ruined it for me ,its still a good fun game tho.
Finally an evolution video that showcases all the moves each character can perform instead of just going forward on a parkour starter!

The classics have smooth, fluid parkour

Parkour down existed since AC 1, Unity only added a button action for it. Before Unity you could descent from buildings manually.
