Bendix Home Washer Model D Third and final rinse, long spin.

This video show the start of the third and final rinse, I have set the temperature switch to warm so you can see the cold valve switching on and off keeping the water at 30c
The machine spin solenoid shuts off and the water start straight away which help to clear the drum of soap and make great splashing water action.
Tumbling, then draining followed by a short clip of the final spin at 400rpm the machine then tumbles for a minute or two before stopping at the end of the wash cycle.

We had a late 1940s model S into the early’60s. It didn’t have a suspension and was bolted to the ground.

Hi Lee, lovely machine - guess it must of been quite a task to restore her. Are you still collecting as I don't see any recently uploaded videos? I have always loved domestic electrical appliances of the vintage kind.
